Herman did some great work for us at the best price. We had an old crumbling stone retaining wall removed and replaced with a block system. They went above and beyond and mulched in the newly formed bed for us.

I would recommend 5stars for HermanWe had some smallWater amounts in basement when big rains came. Brian was able to get a nice package and plan together to redo our front and side lawn and landscaping to get more of the water running away. No more water in basement.We also had a wonderful stone wall redo on the back of our garage that still looks amazing ten years later .I highly recommend this family run business. Local strong friendly honest wonderful company.

From Herman Landscape Services Inc

Herman Landscape Service Inc was founded in 1943 by Robert L. Herman. While attending the University of Wisconsin, Bob took a job as a driver for William “Bill” McKay. He was soon selling and planting McKay Nursery stock. In 1944, he graduated from the UW with a degree in Landscape Architecture. What started out as a local one-man operation has grown into service oriented corporation serving Madison, Dane County, and southern Wisconsin. Bob retired in 1975 leaving the family business in the good hands of three sons, a daughter, a son-in-law, and many of his trusted and experienced employees. In 2007 Mr. Herman was inducted posthumously into the Wisconsin Green Industry Federation Hall of Fame.
