Harpers Hair Culture is an independent Black owned hair salon specializing in curly and coily hair. The salon offers curl exclusive customized curly services, balayage, and colors, and is appointment only. It opened in 2018 and relocated to its new space in 2023. The business also offers nail services and massage therapy. The immediate energy walking into the salon is welcoming and professional. The salon is adorable and the staff is so nice, creating a homey feel. The stylists are thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. They dedicate time to listen to clients' struggles and inspiration, making clients feel extremely comfortable, intertwined, involved, and listened to. They provide amazing education, walking clients through everything and setting up a manageable and easy routine for the healthiest hair possible. Stylists guide and encourage clients through services, explaining products and techniques. Clients leave with amazing, pretty hair that gets many compliments, often feeling it has never looked so good. Customers are thankful, happy to embrace their curls, and highly recommend the salon, stating they will definitely be coming back for another service.
Bailee was absolutely phenomenal. Her presence made me feel at ease and that my daughter was in good hands. She took her time to educate me on what products to use, how to use them and informed me on how hard water affects hair. I can tell Bailee is very knowledgeable and loves what she does. I couldn’t ask for a better person to start my daughter’s hair journey with. 💗💗
Beautiful salon and space! I really enjoyed learning how to bring out my natural curls. The scalp treatment and wash was so relaxing. Definitely recommend!
absolute best massage of my LIFE! she was more than a massage therapist, she acted as my personal therapist too 😂 I can't say enough nice things about this place and the kind, caring, professional people there. She spent extra time getting to know me since it was my first time there, it was affordable, and there was snacks! thank you!!
