This is not just a school. Yumi-san performs her services at the Connie Gayle Beauty Center. I was referred to her by previous clients. She takes the time to listen to what you want, and unlike other artists I've worked with, she does what the client asks for, not whatever she thinks is best. She offers her professional advice based on experience and knowledge of how the tattoo ink fades or how the face looks different from various angles. I really appreciated her patience and attention to detail to ensure everything was exactly how I wanted it. She continuously asked questions to make sure she understood what I wanted. She provides information for people who have not had the procedures done before, to ensure they understand the whole process - from the amount of pain one might experience to the proper aftercare required at home. In response to the other review complaining about the first time not looking good, or if you've never gotten facial laser/microneedle treatments or temporary make-up tattooing, it's important to understand that the first treatment is not the final result. It's a layering process done over a period of time to achieve the desired result. I will definitely only go back to Yumi-san for my future touch-ups.

John is the rare “hands on” PT who will spend your session actually stretching and massaging you, rather than standing by and watching you do endless reps of weight training and exercises. He has a deep knowledge of anatomy and is compassionate and kind.

This was my first experience for a facial as my fiancé bought me a session for my birthday. Tori did a phenomenal job and I had a relaxing time. She explained what she was doing every step of the session. She’s very knowledgeable and from someone not knowing anything about facials, I felt informed. The response I’ve gotten from people this past week was excellent!! Everyone complimented me on my glowing face! Tori also is a great listener as she let me babble about my work. I found Radical Mane at Oasis studio by word of mouth from another hair stylist in the area. I was interested in a complete hair overhaul that I'd been thinking of for some time. I was able to text Jordyn from her info available on her website. I initially contacted the another hair stylist about a dramatic cut, but she didn't do color and referred me to Radical Mane for that. Jordyn asked a lot of questions via text to make sure I'd thought through my decision and to understand what I was asking for. I ended up doing both appointments the same day, the color right after the cut. This was fairly easy, since both locations were within walking distance of each other. I'm happy I had two experts each doing what they loved doing best! The cut at Winam Studios was amazing, and I walked over to Radical Mane about a block away, located upstairs by a Himalayan Restaurant. I trusted Jordyn's expertise on what specific color to add to the top to add a bit of contrast between my longer locks and short hair. I've never dyed my hair before, so I think she went with as natural of a look as possible, while still adding the contrast I desired. She mostly added simple highlights to avoid a harsh line that would be evident as the hair grew out. The studio was clean and comfortable, with beautiful art by a local artist up on the walls. Jordyn is super personable and wise beyond her years. We talked about life, and she ended up recommending a book to me! Both the cut and color turned out better than I could ever have imagined! It's comfortable and super low-maintenance. I don't have to wash my hair as often, don't sweat as much, and never need a hair tie. My hair looks amazing after simply messing it around with my fingers and flipping to the side. Friends that have known me for years have asked me why I hadn't had this haircut sooner. They tell me it fits my personality perfectly! I love that I can look chic or punk rock, depending on what I wear and how I wear my hair! Now I look like the artist I am! Thank you, both to Hillary from Winam Studio for the cut, and to Jordyn from Radical Mane for the color!

She has completely transformed my hair… I came in with dry/damaged hair from a previous salon about 1.5yr ago and Jordyn has made my hair healthier and “more me” than ever. After years of bouncing between barbers, I came back to Sky Grooming and booked with Suzu Hoshi—easily the best decision I’ve made for my hair. I had a big event coming up and needed a solid cut and natural coloring. Even with a slight language barrier, Suzu understood exactly what I wanted from the photos I showed. The results were perfect. She was kind, detailed, and professional, making the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. I walked out feeling confident and genuinely cared for. Highly recommend!
Never got my cut here because I was late to my appointment and missed the grace period by 2 min. Upon arriving, I was greeted with hesitation and was told that if I wanted to reschedule I need to pay a fee. Considering it’s my second day on the island, I didn’t judge traffic correctly and ended up being two minutes late. I think that there should be a little bit more room to provide customer service, especially if you’re in resort environment.
As you can see, I decided to leave a five star review because my goal is not to destroy businesses to make them learn that they could be better if they just started thinking a little bit more humanly

Grant is one of the best barbers out there and has been blessing me with a detailed and consistent haircut since the begging. Came here on another family's recommendation, and she did such a great job on my teen son's hair before his prom. There were two other ladies there when we got there, also by their friend's recommendation too! She's a professional, one-woman shop, who's incredibly friendly and apparently everyone knows her excellent work! The only difficult part about her shop is the parking. It's where you can fit without getting blocked or find street parking. I'd say to call before showing up to make sure she's open and available.

When I lived on the island a few years ago I always saw Abby for my spray tans regularly! I came back for my wedding this past week and of course, I had her do my spray! She did a phenomenal job.my color was dark and I am pretty fair skinned tan did not look orange more of that beautiful bronze everyone wants! She is very personable and knowledgeable about everything from start to finish and makes the whole experience seamless and wonderful!! I had such a wonderful experience at Top Nails. Ana understood exactly what I was looking for and worked efficiently without compromising quality. Diana did my pedicure and picked the most gorgeous coral shade with a multi-chrome finish, it was stunning. Her service was incredible, complete with a relaxing foot massage and a warm wax treatment that left my feet unbelievably smooth. I’ll definitely be coming back!

She takes great care in showing every sterile pack of supplies, including expiration dates and the types of needles she uses, ensuring complete transparency. The shop is also conveniently located. What I truly appreciated about her was the time she took to assess my facial features to determine the most suitable eyebrow shape for me. She meticulously measured everything rather than simply estimating, demonstrating her expertise and precision. With years of training and mastery in her craft, I trust her completely. Beyond her skill, Yen is down-to-earth, kind, and genuinely cares about customizing her work to meet each client’s needs. Finding someone as dedicated and detail-oriented as her is rare!
Awesome ladies, they were able to take me in quickly and get straight to my nails. I came in for basic maintenance, and they took their time to clean both. I would say to take a bit more time cleaning underneath the fingernails would be great, but not a problem.
I called at 8:30 AM and got appointments for my 2 nieces (11 & 15 yo) and me, for mani-pedis at 10:30 AM. Two gel pedicures, one regular pedicure and three regular manicures. The gel color selection was good. I was very happy and the person who did my services was sweet & professional. Everything was clean and nice. The massage chairs were very nice, and my nieces loved the whole thing. It came to $235, which I charged on a card, and paid the tips in cash. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

I started seeing Kandice a few years ago and have never looked back. For a long time I was on the hunt for someone who could really make my nails last. With my job being hands on and my lifestyle being outdoors (hiking, climbing, swimming, etc.) I could never find a tech that worked for me. Usually my nails would almost always chip within the first week. With Kandice it's never an issue!! She's amazing with her nail art when I bring inspo and I love letting her create her own designs as well. Her shop has plenty of metered street parking and I have never had an issue finding a spot. She's such a fun personality and I recommend her to everyone and anyone! Her shop Magic Hour also holds events all the time and is LGBTQIA+ friendly!! Go see her!

I had a great experience at Nail Express. The nail tech was thorough and applied the gel perfectly. The gel is not bulky and coats my nail bed nicely. I think the prices are very reasonable as well. I would definitely go back to Nail Express.

I had a lash artist in Las Vegas for years, and leaving her was honestly so hard when I moved to Oahu. I’m very particular about my lashes, so finding someone who met my standards was a big deal to me.
I found Lash Artistry, specifically Jo, through a Google search, and from the start, she was incredibly welcoming. Synchronistically, she used to live in Vegas too, which made it feel like such a perfect match.
Not only is her customer service amazing, but her work is even better! Retention is great, especially with the humidity here, and she uses a lash glue that really holds up in this weather.
On top of that, I’ve only seen her 3 times now and conversations just flows! If I’m spending hours getting my lashes done, I want it to feel like I’m catching up with a friend, and that’s exactly what it’s like with Jo.

I have no reason to write this. Habib is in such demand, he doesn't need good reviews to keep him afloat. But having bumped into other hairdressers and encountering their tactics, I feel compelled to write about why I like Habib. Habib is an artist. He recognizes the state and shape of your hair and the state and shape of you. He has nuance when he cuts hair and doesn't try to force down a client's throat generic templates of what is "in" or what the industry is dictating looks good. I never feel belittled by his style sense or the choices I make regarding personal style or even products. Don't get me wrong -- Habib is always current. He knows what techniques and looks are the industry standard. He indeed is responsible with his craft. But he knows how to help his clients rise rather than hamstringing them into a dependency on him specifically or his product offerings. Habib is never heavy-handed about how often to get services from him, and he doesn't push products or create product dependency. The irony is that it is just that trait that causes my dependency on him specifically. I cannot say enough great things about him as a person, as an artist and the work he does. I just hope he cuts hair for the rest of my life!
Alex is so wonderful and always makes me feel super comfortable. I was hesitant to start waxing again because it’s always intimidating for me to find someone new but I’m so happy I did. I’ve been getting waxed with Alex since the end of last year and even though I have to drive from Kapolei, she’s so worth the time and money! She is quick, thorough, and does her best to make you feel as comfortable as possible, not to mention so kind and easy to talk to!

Whenever I want to treat myself to something really special, I go see Meg. She has magic hands and lovely products that know exactly how to pamper my skin. The dermaplaning facial is my favorite. Even the longest session (75 minutes) is too short. I am never ready to leave! :)

Giving Lena a review because it looks like no one has done so since pre-pandemic. I went to Lena in September to get my eyebrows tattooed. I was super hesitant because I saw my mom do it in the 1990s and she had an allergic reaction and looked horrible for a week. Anyway, I'm getting to the point in my life where my appearance is still important to me, but I just want to look good without putting in too much effort. Yes, I am lazy. Anyhoo Lena was quick to respond to my email inquiry about what type of brow service I should do. I was initially thinking microblading because it is less permanent and seems to be popular these days, however after consultation Lena suggested getting my eyebrows tattooed. I have sparse non-existent eyebrows. I looked totally different with makeup and without makeup, mainly because I had no eyebrows. I would go to yoga work up a sweat and come out looking like a totally different person because my brows would melt off. After getting my brows tattooed, my husband says it looks like I have makeup on all the time, that's how much of a difference it has made. Like he thought I was hot before, but now I'm even hotter because I have nice eyebrows all the time. Lena did a fabulous job. My eyebrows are symmetrical and perfectly proportioned. The process took about 1.5 hours and I felt very little pain. I went back a month later and she touched up my eyebrows to make sure they were settling in well. Highly recommend Lena! Go get your eyebrows done by her, she's truly a professional at the top of her game.

The owner Kiku is wonderful. I've gone there off & on for waxing and massages. Lately I've been training for a trail run in May and after a long run, went to have a massage on my tired legs and sore feet. Kiku's new therapist Waco did a fantastic job starting with the soles of my feet. She also worked on some knots in my shoulders that made turning my head uncomfortable. Waco then found some tense muscles that I didn't know were bothering me until she worked on them. I walked out feeling like jello and woke the next day without the usual tightness I normally experience after some hard training miles.Kiku and Waco have both given me some of the best massages I've experienced. They provide other services as well and have promotions on their website. It's a great find that I recommend to my friends.

The treatment itself was exactly what I was hoping for. This is not your typical spa facial. Joyce is highly skilled and intentional in her approach. Her movements are strong, precise, and purposeful, and you can tell she’s focused on delivering real results, not just a relaxing experience (though it was still very calming).

I came here April of last year for my lashes before I flew to SEATAC the next day. The experience was excellent as a first timer lols. I think Celine was my lash tech. We didn't talk much cus I knocked out as she was doing her thing. My lashes were light and it's the style I requested. All I remember was the sizes were 11 & 15 and she gave me tips on how to take care of them. If you do see this comment, I'll be visiting again on July before I leave again lols :)
This was my first experience for a facial as my fiancé bought me a session for my birthday. Tori did a phenomenal job and I had a relaxing time. She explained what she was doing every step of the session. She’s very knowledgeable and from someone not knowing anything about facials, I felt informed. The response I’ve gotten from people this past week was excellent!! Everyone complimented me on my glowing face! Tori also is a great listener as she let me babble about my work. I had my wedding in Hawaii last week. Delish Makeup Artistry was recommended by the wedding coordinators from Haiku Gardens (which is where I had my wedding at). I communicated with the team via phone (but left a voice message) then communicated via texts (which seemed faster and convenient for everyone). I was able to set a makeup and hair trial session 6 days before my big day.
I was set up with the amazing Moana! I am a person who does not wear makeup a lot nor has great makeup skills lol. So I will admit, I was nervous. I mean, I had my share of experiences from Sephora and I was not always satisfied. So yes, I was skeptic. BUT...Moana did an amazing job with my hair and makeup trial! I loved it! She is friendly and hilarious. And she was honest with me. I showed her inspiration pictures and she let me know that the pictures I showed her were AI and reminded me that their skin is flawless and that she cannot make it exactly like the picture but she can work with what I have and make it beautiful in my own way. And she asked me questions and opinions on how I wanted to look. And the results of the trial session was amazing. For the rest of the day I walked outside and felt beautiful hehe.
The day of, Moana, made me look and feel beautiful. I loved my makeup and my hair!! And my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law were glammed up by the other amazing girls from DMA and omg...they all looked amazing! And they all loved it! And we were ready on time when the limo was to pick us up...okay, maybe a few minutes late. But the driver was not complaining hehe.

Was my last day and my bday in Hawaii decided last minute to get a tattoo found there shop on google maps went in without an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in @mreerose did great work of my tattoo everything was clean quick and painless definitely recommend.

My wife and I did a walk in consultation and Dragon and Sergio worked with us and got the exact design we wanted. These guys are fantastic! The artists make you feel welcome and are not pushy at all. The shop was clean and the other artists that were there were super nice! Both Dragon and Sergio had a light tough and there wasnt any excess pain during the tattoo and very little afterwards.

Aaron has done memorial pieces for our mothers using the handwritten letters our families left for us. Andre does some of the best and original Polynesian tribal ink work I've ever seen. Place is a pain getting too due to construction on the main road but that's just Hawaii living.

Jaren took the time to assess the shut off valve issues and explained the problem. I have used Jaren in the past and he is very professional.
Jaron and Garic responded very quickly to my request for replacement of 'frozen' and corroding cold and hot water shutoff valves so that I could install a new washing machine in my home. (And I was impressed that their photos and bios were texted to me by 535 a few minutes before their arrival.) They made a great team, were friendly and respectful in introducing themselves, and clear in explaining the nature of the work that they would be doing. Amazingly they completed their work in only half an hour. Plumbing work is always expensive, but their professionalism and the quality of their work was worth every penny spent.
In fact, because I was so pleased with their work, a week later they returned at my request to replace a leaking faucet on the outside of my house. Again, they solved this issue quickly and skillfully. Because i am so pleased with the responsiveness of 535 to my requests for service, and with the demonstrated professionalism of the Jaron and Garic, I already have in mind 2-3 additional plumbing services that I'll be requesting their services for :)

I had pipe masters out today for an emergency, I had water going from two bathrooms throughout my first floor, water was everywhere. They came out quickly and were able to diagnose and fix the problem which was a blocked sewer line. They had already given me an estimate on the phone just from me telling them what was going on, and the work they did did not cost anymore than what I was initially quoted. Compared to what other plumbers charge, I thought the price was very reasonable. The plumber that actually came to the house was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely call them again if I have any issues.
I live in a 50+ year old hi-rise condo in Honolulu. I had a leaking toilet tank and they replaced the bowl gasket. I also had them replace an old toilet fill valve. They take the time to make sure everything is working properly after fixing. The plumbers are very courteous explaining everything to you. They did a great job cleaning up after the work. The price is very reasonable. I will always call Ogami for my plumbing needs. I highly recommend them!

Once again my elderly house was in dire need, we arrived home from 2 weeks on the mainlad to a situation where our water was OFF and there had been a huge leak during our absence. I called Sidney Reyes at 10:30 on a Saturday night and he answered with my name before the second ring. We scheduled for this morning and he arrived 45 minutes early and the repair was complete in 20 minutes. I cannot thank him enough. He makes me feel truly taken care of.

From my experience, I'd say I really trust this business and would gladly do business with them again.I had a minor issue where we wanted to have an electrician come out to inspect our place for any issues--as we were preparing to rent out unit out.The owner called me back fairly quickly--within 30 minutes. He explained what he could do but recommended I could do many of the steps myself. He actually took about 15 minutes to tell me the important steps to check for, which he would do normally. And if we found any irregularities we could call him back and hire him.Turns out, everything he told us to check for was A-OK. And he saved us about $300-400. I myself am a person running a service business with a clientele of repeat customers, I loved the way he treated me with respect, explained things, and helped me optimize the situation. I'll definitely hire him for future jobs. I also appreciated he had some extra connections via his family for real estate things--so that perspective was really helpful.Compared to the other two electricians I called to for information to handle this issue, Enterprise Electric handled it the best and with the Customer in mind.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I needed some electrical work done in our home. I reached out to Xin and he responded right away. Long story short, we had to delay getting the work done. But when we were ready, I remembered him. He was prompt to respond and came out just as promptly to do the work. We were very pleased with his work, and skill. I called the number listed on the web site for electrical repairs to a house panel. In the end, I suspect my issue was smaller than what the company deals with. Having said that Customer service was the best I’ve experienced in last 10 years. Within minutes I received a call back from a field worker who requested pictures of my panel. Within minutes I received a call back on where I could obtain the parts and the price on the parts.If I had a larger project this company absolutely would be my first call to hopefully work with!

The carpet not only looks great but it feels great again too. I've heard it said that having carpeting is the best air filtration system you could add to your house. Thankfully our water wasn't super nasty like it was last year. That's what happens when you skip a year or two. And it'll wear your carpet down faster. Go with Phoenix. You won't be disappointed.
Been using Magic Carpet for years and Ken is always so professional and does an incredible job—which isn’t easy with the old carpet in my apartment. He always makes it look super new, gets out stains, and at a great price. I also have a cat and it’s so helpful to have the carpet reset.

A water main break in early hours of a Saturday morning caused extensive flooding of our home. MD Restoration arrived within an hour and evacuated the water efficiently, installing an industrial dehumidifier and measuring the moisture over the subsequent week. It was very helpful to have professionals with the right equipment as we would not have known there was water in the walls. We hired them for the abatement and repair as well. Rey and Justin were 5-star outstanding on the abatement and then putting things back in place. Without their help the delay to complete the repair work would have been even more frustrating. Aside of that would give 5-stars.
They did a great job cleaning my 2 bed 2 bath home. They even got out some tough stains in the bathtub. Very easy to communicate with and very friendly.

Having known Chris Brenna and Flooring Specialists for nearly 14 years, he and his crew have always been a pleasure to work with. At my previous employer, we always called upon him for our flooring repair/replacement needs, whether it was wood, tile, travertine, marble or a refinishing job. Chris was always honest, fair and accommodating with his pricing, estimates and scheduling.
Last fall, our condo experienced a flood from the unit above. After months of waiting for insurance, building approvals, material delivery, etc. we finally scheduled our installation.
Chris’s crew arrived punctually as promised. Alex and Randy had the entire wood floor area sawn into squares and stacked neatly for hauling down to their trucks. I was shocked that this process only took about 2 hours! This included careful attention to plastic sheeting installed over the kitchen cupboards, pantry space and laundry center to prevent dust from entering. This step ensured a quick clean-up, as no sawdust or debris was found following their departure.
The guys brought up the new flooring boxes and materials. By mid-afternoon they had over half of the new flooring laid. It was looking beautiful. The second day Alex and Randy returned to finish laying the floor. On the third day, Randy returned to fit all of the trim molding, transitions and to touch up the baseboards.
We couldn’t be happier with the finished results. An unfortunate situation with the upstairs unit’s flood, but a blessing in disguise for us, as we are enjoying our new wooden flooring.

The owner came to the house for the initial consultation, and was very transparent, communicative, and kind. Dean rescued us following an unethical builder on a total remodel. We have since hired him for 2 smaller projects ($5,000 range). We were scammed by an unethical builder who is now out of business. Dean was the only contractor of the 9 I tried who would take on the project. The result is a beautiful home that is built right. The reason it is beautiful is that he kept providing us with options such as trimming the windows differently. He had the knowledge and a design vision to take the project to the next level. We had a project at our daughters. The problem was access on a steep slope. Again, nobody wanted the job or their solutions were unbelievably expensive. I did not think Dean could do it because he has a small crew but he offered to come see it. He said he had done similar projects with pump jacks. The difference was that he knew about a method that nobody else considered. The third project was a replacement entry lanai on an older home. His work with Trex on the entry of the large project was so beautiful that I told him my expectations were high. I was not disappointed. The more challenging part of the project was cement work for the sidewalk approaching the lanai. Again, he knew about materials such as rebar that cannot rust and cement additives so we would not have to totally remove the old section first. Obviously Dean enjoys a challenge and thinking through to a solution. He has an amazing knowledge base of materials and options. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I hired Bruce to work on the side of my house. It’s an old house and it basically had a little hole in the wall. Bruce went above and beyond to complete the job. He is honest, hardworking, and a good guy. I would use him again without question.
Worked with them on two projects on my home. Adding double wall construction to my downstairs single wall construction home fixing remote eaten wood and adding a lanai. Then 7 years later we used them to do our kitchen and bathroom. Victor was great to work with and let us know what was going on during the project.

I was a tenant in a building managed by OBM and they did a great job. The building was well maintained and clean and the staff were polite and proactive. It was a big contrast with the previous office space i leased where the tenants and repairs were clearly not a priority for the property manager.

DTC did a complete (to the studs) remodel on my 1100 square foot 1958 condo on the Gold Coast. Greg agreed to take over the project after there were major issues with the original "Contractor" and "Interior Designer". I was so grateful that Greg agreed to come in and take over the job. No small feat to try unravel what was and was not done. The DTC team was excellent and I was extremely lucky to have Jason Schweitzer as my Project Manager. Jason's attention to detail and thorough follow through made me feel like he was treating my project as if it was his own home. Billing was very detailed breakdown of materials and overages (of course i had some...!) They offer access to an online calendar update that allows you to see the time frame and progress of the project. The end result is a jaw dropping, gorgeous custom home. Ive recommended DTC to several people and will continue to do so. Words that i continue to use when describing Greg and DTC: ethical, honest, and beautiful craftsmanship. I highly recommend DTC.

My family first hired Kula's Landscaping to care for my grandma's lawn when she turned it into a rental property and moved into my parent's house. Needless to say, she has had many landscapers, but none of them have shown the care, attention to detail and level of service that Kula's has. It is true--you get what you pay for. Once we saw the quality of work they did on my grandma's property, my parents hired them to work on their yard. To date, the Mossman brothers are the only people my dad has ever entrusted (aside from himself) to care for his lawn. We truly couldn't recommend them enough.

In town for my Sons wedding and on the second day of being here, I woke up with excruciating shooting pains from the left side of my neck. Definitely felt like a pinched nerve. Ended up in the hospital for five hours and all they did was give me shots that killed the pain for 30 minutes. Called my chiropractor in San Diego and she sent me here and it was awesome. Damian is very knowledgeable and strong enough for very tense areas. I also have been seeing Dr. Yuri since she began working here about 7 years ago.. again, off and on as needed.. She has an excellent personality, is very talented, and who has different techniques than Dr. Smith, in which is extremely beneficial.. currently I alternate once a week with Dr Smith on one weekend, and then see Dr Yuri on the next weekend (today). Apparently, I am not the only person who does that. These two Doctor's and their staff in the rehab are wonderful people, with outstanding experience.. I thank you all for always getting my back and neck adjusted as well as stretching and relaxing my muscles.

I have been to a lot of chiropractors and as a massage therapist I usually find them to be very rough and out of tune and out of touch with the patients body. Their approach and performance just feels very mechanical. During the adjustment I already know and I then become anxious and untrusting because of the lack of mindfulness, gentleness and genuine care In their approach. I have known Dr. Guthrie for years and I feel truly confident and at peace seeing him and I gladly refer all my patients to him if they are in need of healing and a really good chiropractic adjustment.
Best if like activator instead of actual cracking and someone torquing your neck and back. Massage is also first rate.

I’ve been to see Dr Chang a few times over the years. He and his staff are amazing and are always super kind and patient with my chickens. With my first chicken he saved her life after she likely ate something toxic and she ended up living another few years. I have a special needs boy who struggles at the vets, with strangers, with restraint. We were recommended to try Surf Paws and I am so glad we did! From the moment we arrived our needs were accommodated. The staff were amazing as was Dr. Miliaresis. She was very supportive and more than willing to work within my boys comfort level. I have been a loyal customer of Dr. Kam for the pass 30 years. You won’t find a more compassionate, loving and friendly staff. I love the fact that Dr. Kam dies the basic exam, vaccination, etc. in front of you. I’ve moved farther away from Kalihi & have tried closer vets, but don’t like the fact that they take my fur babies to another room doing who knows what or nothing at all without solving any medical issues. And one of them even had me tranquilize my Pit Bull just because she was just overly excited and just wants to love people. No tranquilizer per Dr. Kam and she was able to manage my Pit Bull with no muzzle. Anyway me and my fur babies Love Dr. Kam and her staff and pray she maintains good health and never retires. Thank You all for your Humbleness and genuine Love for animals, to include staying true to your motto: Treating & Loving Pets as Family!

Super friendly from the time you walk in and leave. Dr. Wong and her assistant was super friendly and they answered all my questions and I’m very grateful and satisfied . As a bunny mom to two different breeds of rabbits, it’s hard to find a vet that specializes in rabbits not just dogs & cats . I would totally recommend them to any bunny mom’s or dads out there looking for an exotic vet for their rabbits this is the place to go ??.

This is the most honest and straightforward clinic I have ever been to and exactly what I seek in terms of customer service and their procedures. I’ve been to many other vets on this island and they are all dishonest clowns. They run you in circles and make you pay for unnecessary tests that doesn’t even make any sense. They don’t even give you a summary of the work that was done to justify the costs. Here at Kalihi Pet Clinic, they are on top of their treatments provided, very straightforward, affordable and don’t run you in circles. Very transparent and professional providing you with aftercare summary of the treatments provided so you don’t wonder if you’ve been ripped off. I am very satisfied and love this vet! I bring all my pets here even if I have to drive a long way.
Dr Scott and his team have been taking care of my 15+ year old Shih Tzu since he was a baby. He saved him through many challenges and keeps him very healthy on the daily. He, Christina and all of his staff are always very kind and caring. Jeffrey loves Dr. Scott and we appreciate everything that they do!! We fully trust Dr. Scott, he's the best veterinarian and absolutely amazing!!

Dr Myatt, Teri and Keaka are the best. My 3 dogs went to them for over 20 years. They neutered and spayed them…they even were there for their aging times until they went over the Rainbow bridge. For all those years, the team always looked out for my furry friend’s best interest. They knew each dog as if it was theirs. I loved the personal service. We were not just another number.

I’ve been taking my 15 year old shih tzu here for over 5 years. This is the best place I’ve been in the area for grooming. They do a good job and I can tell my dog enjoys herself while she’s there. I’ve had experiences at other groomers in the area where my dog is very anxious when I pick her up…but never here. That’s how I know the groomer does a fantastic job with the dogs making them feel safe and loved while they’re there. You know the non-verbal communication you have with your dogs? Yeah, that’s how my dog told me she approves. She now wags her tail when I ask if she wants a haircut. ???

As a chronic 'beginner' (due to lack of practice between classes), I really appreciate Elaine's skill and patience in helping everyone who attends the Saturday mid-day 'introductory' sessions. Elaine never seems annoyed if you can't get a pose right on the first try--even if she's shown it to you many times before. She also is very attentive to people who have medical conditions that limit their abilities, and knows which props to use to allow them to participate as fully as they can. The people attending the 'intro' class are very welcoming and interested in their fellow students. Nobody competes to be the best (or the most fashionable), and everyone is really supportive of each other. Since you don't have to bring any equipment and it's pay-as-you-go, it's a great way to see if Iyengar yoga is a style that suits you. My wife takes a week off from work to go to the Kofi Busia workshops every year, because she finds them so inspiring. Elaine and her colleagues have created a very nice environment for learning, and there's even plenty of free parking in the studio's basement!

Had SUCH a great class with Kristin! It was raining and I was the only one mad enough to turn up but she was still keen to go ahead with the class! Had such a lovely flow class in the nature right on the waterfront, such a beautiful location and a relaxing experience. Kristin was so friendly and even gave me tips for my stay. Even learned some new asanas. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
Cici and Lin massaged us today. We workout and live a really active life we never can find anyone that can massage us with strong pressure but they really do a good job. We have been coming here every week for recovery!
Miyako and Michelle took us in for a couples massage day of. They listened to our concerns, strength of massage preference, and both had rhythmic, strong hands (to our liking) that know anatomy well! Also, they’re friendly people.

My wife and I booked a couples package here and it was incredible. She ended up getting a massage and a facial combo, while I went with the deep tissue massage.
From the second you walk in, the whole place just feels super comfortable and relaxing. You can tell the owner and the therapists really know what they’re doing—they were highly skilled, attentive, and incredibly professional throughout the whole visit. My deep tissue knots are completely gone, and my wife hasn’t stopped talking about how great her skin feels.
If you are in Waikīkī and need a legitimately great massage, I highly recommend checking this place out. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Amazingly gifted practitioner! She has what it takes in terms of resetting things to help you unblock stuff that needs unblocking. She is very experienced and is an expert at what she does, someone who tailors the methods to each individual. I recommend her very highly.
This was a fantastic massage from start to finish. The masseuse made sure to understand what areas I needed work on and regularly checked in to ensure the pressure was comfortable. It felt very personalized and professional. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be going again!
I was pleasantly surprised on her knowledge of the structural configuration of the human body and very happy she was able to re-establish the muscle and joint alignment on my back, neck and hips, at times momentarily painful, but once the manipulation of the muscles and joint, being able to experience the better range of movement without pain, it was great. I would recommend her to anyone with painful range of movement. Personally, I think the two-hour session I had was the right amount of time for me.
Whenever my shoulders and neck ache, I always want to go to them. After each massage, I feel completely relaxed! The environment is very comfortable, it's the most relaxing place for me!
The inside of their establishment was very calming and clean. Jay did my 90 min Swedish massage with hot stones and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend coming here and I hope that if I’m ever in the area again I can come back and see them!

Sharing this on behalf of my mom. She feels so much better after working with folks at Orthosport. She looked forward to her sessions with Kevin. He would check on how she was during the sessions, and was very attentive to her needs. He was positive and encouraged her to stick with my program. Initially, Mom went to Orthosport for back pain. After her sessions, she feels better and plans to continue working out there on her own. I’m so grateful for the support of Kevin and all the staff at Orthosport. I can’t say enough good things about Orthosport and the wonderful help they have given my mom.
Business is located at Imperial Plaza 2nd floor on right of it is Fong Eyecare Vision Center which I go to. I was referred here from my friend who works at this company. My doctor's office made a request to do my physical therapy. My physical therapist Harvey did an evaluation on what I needed to work on in terms of exercises to help with my neck and shoulder. 2 physical therapy assistants looks in my file to know what exercises that I need. There is a machine which pt assistant set up so it can massage my neck for 20 minutes and heating pad under my back. While I am doing my exercises, they are helping at least 2 other people with their exercises. After I am done with my exercise, Harvey massages my neck and back. HMSA will only allow me 10 physical therapy sessions. At last session, physical therapist will do his evaluation.

I thought my injured shoulder was a lost cause, however, after a session of cupping and acupuncture I felt a significant difference and over time my shoulder is starting to heal!
The energy in the clinic is Zen and peaceful. The energy coming from the healers are positive and impactful!

I enrolled in the education program which is amazing. The staff & students are such colorful and dedicated practitioners. Everyone has something unique to contribute. Always professional and worth every cent invested.
While taking treatment for a series of 5-6 visits weekly, we were able to remedy a physical pain in my lower back that persisted for more than 1.5 years. A true miracle. There have been emotional benefits as well.

My experience with Maire was exceptional. I came to her during a period of significant transition and change in my life, and her work helped me reconnect with a sense of balance and healing that I didn’t fully realize I needed.
The acupuncture and cupping sessions were excellent, but what stood out most was the healing presence she brings to her practice. There is a genuine sense of care, calm, and intention in the space she has created. Dr. Mei Lin Luo is the REAL DEAL. I got hit by a car and the whole left side of my body was in pain. Dr. Wong and Jo helped me so much with my low back pain after hearing a pop in my low back while practicing yoga. They scheduled me for acupuncture the very next day, and within two treatments I was back to work and able to swim and walk pain-free. COME HERE FOR CUPPING THERAPY! I tried cupping for the first time because my shoulder, upper arm and neck area have been super tense with poor blood circulation, and it was the BEST DECISION! Daniel - is a great driving instructor! Although I knew how to drive, I decided to take a couple of lessons before my driving test and it was totally worth it! I was a bit hesitant about taking lessons from About Driving LLC, but I'm glad I took the chance! Mr. James Onishi is a wonderful instructor. His responses were prompt and I was able to start my lessons quickly without much wait time. For a long time I was nervous on the road, but from the first lesson I felt the most comfortable I'd ever been behind the wheel. Mr. Onishi's lessons were tailored to my needs and as a person that needs objective instructions, he was able to provide clear and simple step-by-step guides and markers for skills like parking. His vehicle is very easy to drive and what I appreciate most is he let me choose where to meet and where to end each lesson. He has a very funny but level-headed demeanor (imagine your cool asian uncle). Of the schools I researched, he was the only one that offered the best in convenience (in location), availability, and price. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Mr. Onishi.
