“I was fortunate to teach at the studio in 2025 while living on Oahu.
I've taught and practiced at studios all around the world and I can honestly say this is my absolute favorite for many reasons! The owner Michelle is incredible ,along with all of the teachers and students.
The atmosphere is always so lovely, Michelle always puts out fresh flowers. Adding a special touch that is just one way she takes extra good care of staff and students. The infrared
hot classes have the best infrared heaters that I've ever seen, the studio is always clean. The lighting is lovely. The classes are taught in a very inspiring professional way always on par with the best out there! I highly recommend joining the beautiful community at Sun Yoga.“

The instructors are all very professional and experienced. In class, they each take the time to correct form and check in on special needs.

Private and group classes: Pilates (mat, reformer, tower), Gyrotonic, yoga, and more.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The studio is clean, air conditioned, and well-maintained. Metered street parking for classes, free lot parking for privates.“

“Wonderful studio with great teachers! I'm especially a fan of Joji's classes, though the aerial yoga and acro yoga once lead by Paul are excellent as well.

It's a simple studio that does it right!

Parking: they have complimentary 1hr parking in the back, you just need to scan the QR code inside the studio once you arrive at your class“

“Had SUCH a great class with Kristin! It was raining and I was the only one mad enough to turn up but she was still keen to go ahead with the class! Had such a lovely flow class in the nature right on the waterfront, such a beautiful location and a relaxing experience. Kristin was so friendly and even gave me tips for my stay. Even learned some new asanas. Thank you for a fantastic experience!“

“As a chronic 'beginner' (due to lack of practice between classes), I really appreciate Elaine's skill and patience in helping everyone who attends the Saturday mid-day 'introductory' sessions. Elaine never seems annoyed if you can't get a pose right on the first try--even if she's shown it to you many times before. She also is very attentive to people who have medical conditions that limit their abilities, and knows which props to use to allow them to participate as fully as they can. The people attending the 'intro' class are very welcoming and interested in their fellow students. Nobody competes to be the best (or the most fashionable), and everyone is really supportive of each other. Since you don't have to bring any equipment and it's pay-as-you-go, it's a great way to see if Iyengar yoga is a style that suits you. My wife takes a week off from work to go to the Kofi Busia workshops every year, because she finds them so inspiring. Elaine and her colleagues have created a very nice environment for learning, and there's even plenty of free parking in the studio's basement!“
