Having known Chris Brenna and Flooring Specialists for nearly 14 years, he and his crew have always been a pleasure to work with. At my previous employer, we always called upon him for our flooring repair/replacement needs, whether it was wood, tile, travertine, marble or a refinishing job. Chris was always honest, fair and accommodating with his pricing, estimates and scheduling.

Last fall, our condo experienced a flood from the unit above. After months of waiting for insurance, building approvals, material delivery, etc. we finally scheduled our installation.

Chris’s crew arrived punctually as promised. Alex and Randy had the entire wood floor area sawn into squares and stacked neatly for hauling down to their trucks. I was shocked that this process only took about 2 hours! This included careful attention to plastic sheeting installed over the kitchen cupboards, pantry space and laundry center to prevent dust from entering. This step ensured a quick clean-up, as no sawdust or debris was found following their departure.

The guys brought up the new flooring boxes and materials. By mid-afternoon they had over half of the new flooring laid. It was looking beautiful. The second day Alex and Randy returned to finish laying the floor. On the third day, Randy returned to fit all of the trim molding, transitions and to touch up the baseboards.

We couldn’t be happier with the finished results. An unfortunate situation with the upstairs unit’s flood, but a blessing in disguise for us, as we are enjoying our new wooden flooring.
