Ricco and James have been wonderful! I called around for quotes for a move out pest control, and Ricco was so easy to work with! Then, move in day to the new place and there were tons of ants. Ricco was able to come over less than a hour after I called and got them all taken care of before we moved everything in. The shop is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. More comfortable than the other barbershops I used to go to. My barber, Josh, gives the full barber experience. His cuts are crisp and customer service is 10/10. I’ve been going to him for years and now he’s in Refined Barbershop, they definitely added value by having him there. Mahalo Nui🤙🏽

Ever since I moved to Hawaii in 2022 I have been going to her for my lashes and eyebrows. I wouldn't want anyone else besides Jenny to do my lashes. She does an amazing job and takes her time to ensure my lashes are perfect. She even took the time to work her magic to ensure I have no weird looking gaps in my lashes bc there's a bald spot on my real ones. She is an absolute perfectionist. I got a dermaplaning facial with her and she didn't an amazing job. She also does an amazing job with nails. I highly recommend Jenny.

Was on a quick work trip to Hawaii with limited free time. Took a chance and asked my tour guide for a recommendation and he immediately said @mahalomartin at Beholder Tattoo was a good friend of his and wouldn’t send people anywhere else. That Monday evening I reached out to him. By Wednesday I was paying the deposit for a Friday morning appointment,. Just hours before my appointment, I asked could anyone in the shop fit my friend in as well, if not no big deal. Rather than ignore the last minute request or treat it like an inconvenience, he found one of his coworkers to fit her in. From the minute I messaged him, Martin was nothing but professional and responsive. . Zero attempt to price gouge just because I was a tourist (unlike a different artist my friend had tried to book with prior to us getting there). Any nervousness I felt going to a shop in a state I wasn’t from, by an artist I didn’t know, went out the window the minute I met him in person. Big smile, immediately introduced himself, complimented my existing tattoos, and made easy conversation. He double checked that I was happy with the design, explained what he was going to do, asked which colors I preferred, got permission before taking any photo or video, asked if I was okay through the process, answered the shop apprentice questions and taught him without patronizing him. I was beyond impressed. On top of that, the shop was clean, every staff member was friendly, the music and conversation was super entertaining, and the overall vibe made me feel like I was genuinely welcome, and I wasn’t just another dollar being made. I felt so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. We weren’t rushed out, we weren’t dismissed as soon as the work was done. There was friendly conversation after, sharing stories, and joking around. As many times as i thanked Martin for his work and hospitality, he thanked me more for trusting him to showcase his work on me. I came home with a beautiful permanent piece of art to commemorate my trip. I’m so thankful. Martin is an amazing artist, and I promise, if I make it back out to O’ahu I will ABSOLUTELY be getting inked by him again. 10/10 recommend!! @mahalomartin @beholdertattoo
Boss'd Up Cutz and Hair Salon exceeded my expectations! After calling several barbers looking for someone experienced with children who have sensory disabilities, this was the first place willing to help.
The barber (I’m terrible with names, but you’re the one who retired from the Air Force!) was incredibly patient, kind, and gentle. He talked my kids through every step, gave them breaks when needed, and kept loose hair on them to a minimum, which made a huge difference.
Seeing my nonverbal kids smile at themselves in the mirror said everything about their experience. Overall fantastic experience! Highly recommend and giving 5 stars! We will definitely be back.

I am in the beauty industry too, so I do not give that compliment out to just anyone, for any reason. The shape is perfect and exactly what I wanted. We love threading our eyebrows here!!! Yes ladies, she also does Threading!!! My skin is super sensitive when it comes to waxing and has been pulling off with the wax so we started coming to see Torie. I also notice the hairs dont grow back as quickly when we thread vs wax.
I didn't have an appointment and they were able to take me right away. The owners (Theresa and Joey) and workers are very friendly and kind. They work together as a team, as they listened to what I wanted (retouch and cut) and they made it happen. They are amazing and I highly recommend them. I will definitely be returning again in the future.
Hair styles took me in early 5 minutes before scheduled appointment. He was able to cut my hair just the way I requested with the historic notes from last visit. He friendly and had good conversations while cutting. Only thing I missed was a better shave on the right side on the back of the neck.

After being served a kanak attack from Button Up Cafe, I came waddling in to see my favorite hairstylist, Carina. I moved to the mainland a few years ago but always wait to cut my hair whenever visiting Oahu.
Carina first won my trust and repeat patronage in 2010, when she lopped my mid-back length hair to a beautiful, meticulously, trimmed medium fade combover. Most barber shops don’t use straight razors to get deep into a fade or line up, but Carina is Jedi master with it and makes shaves baby butt smooth.
A few things to note: she’s cash only with Men’s cuts currently at $28 and women’s $30. It’s only street parking so it may take a couple drive-bys to snag a parking. And lastly, please be patient, she’s very soft spoken and has a thick Chinese accent.
All in all, I’ve been selfish about posting this review in hopes that there’s no lines when I see her. But since I want here to prosper in cost of living prices in Hawaii, gotta give her a loud shout out so that I can keep getting the best haircuts.

Everyone in the shop is always looking out for the customer. Julie has without a doubt continued to bring great service even when the shop is busy. They strongly support our military community as well as our local families too. They have never let me down. Heads up, try to call in for an appointment.

Got a haircut and style with Shyra today. When I showed her a reference photo and specified my preferred hair length and layer length, she provided me with guidance and suggestions to give me the look that I wanted. I love that she took her time to achieve exactly what I wanted (not to mention a great head/neck massage during the shampoo/conditioning before the cut). I was impressed that she even noted how I parted my hair when I first walked in and she tailored my haircut to reflect that without even having to ask! She really showed her dedication to and expertise in her craft. I'm incredibly satisfied with my experience and haircut, highly recommend going to Shyra!
Today I got to see Arch Expert Helena, at the Benefit Brow Bar inside of Pearl highlands Ulta Beauty! She recommended doing a Brow lamination & Tint & I LOVED IT! Brow lamination made my brows look fuller & even looking, while the tint darkened & filled in my gaps. On top of that, I even got a free Eye masks (: It helped brightened, lightened & tightened my under eyes! Helena was so sweet & took the time to achieve my brow GOALS! Will definitely be paying her a visit again soon ?

I have been needing a haircut for quite awhile now and decided to walk in to check this place out. Luckily, Estell said she had an opening for me in 20 min since she had a cancellation. I showed her a pic of what I wanted. She took her time washing my hair, cutting, and styling my hair. She is also so sweet and friendly. We had a nice conversation during the whole process . I love how she made my hair look so healthy and added volume to my thin hair. Definitely request for Estell if you get the chance. She's the best! Took a chance on getting a haircut here. I don't like sitting for long periods at salons. I trusted the reviews on here (thank you fellow Yelpers lol) about Nami's, and I'm glad I did. She fit me in last minute, which I am very grateful for! Nami is uplifting and has a genuinely positive energy. She's been working at this salon for over 25 years. I ended up getting a trim with layers and I love it. Nami was so efficient and her prices are reasonable. I will be back. Mahalo Nami!

Absolutely loved the facials here! The first time I came here I did the clean and simple facial with terryn. It was custom tailored to me since I was 4 months pregnant I couldn't have certain ingredients on my face and she knew which products would best suit me. It was very relaxing and she made me feel so comfortable. I haven't done one in years and it felt so good to get one done. The entire process felt so luxurious from getting a massage, to the hot steam, extractions & the cleansing of my face. I knew I had to come back and just recently I tried the enzyme facial with the add on service of dermaplaning. It was my first time trying both services and they were both amazing. The enzyme facial really helped clean, exfoliate and removed the dead skin cells on my face. In addition to the facial, the dermaplaning service also got rid of the "peach fuzz" on my face, which enhanced the appearance of my skin. Instantly after everything, my skin felt so smooth and just completely rejuvenated. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back again!!

Changes of my aestheticians or masseuses were due to my schedule changes.
The front desk ladies were always cheerful, and accommodating in scheduling.
I had not done massages for 1-2 years, since I was babysitting grandkids and caring for my mom. I’m free now.
I am happy with my new masseuse aesthetician Belle and masseuse Kristen. They are Gems!

10/10 highly recommend. My shoulder and neck were locked up so I called and booked an hour appointment for this morning. Not only did they work on reducing my pain, they also helped my lower back and legs feel better.
My ohana have been seeing Diego since about 2005. He has helped us immensely over the years to relieve pain and be able to heal.
Recent treatments have included Radial Pressure Wave Therapy and I love it. It has helped relieve my hip pain when walking a long distance. Diego also used RPWT on my upper back and neck.
