Scott from Peregrine was just at my house. Very nice person and knowledgable about what to do. I just could not trap one gopher that was trap aware so I called Peregrine. You know it's a great company when the employees talk very highly about it and the ownership. Automatic follow up is done but more than likely not needed. Would definitely use again.
Called them again. They said Saturday and actually came early :) Send me an invoice afterwards and gentleman that did the work was very nice. What you expect but rarely get these days. I’ve been coming to Golden Blade since it first opened and keep going back because of the excellent haircuts and beard trims I get every time I go. Will’s attention to detail is like no other in my experience with barbers in south Calgary. Although I’ve had several barbers and all have been great. I had a less-than-great experience one time with a different barber but Will invited me back to fix it up for no extra charge. Since then I’ve had the same barber and it was great. You’re in good hands with whoever you get. Rarely have to wait more than a few minutes too.

She knew my eyes were sensitive and that i would be nervous and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I been going to Noori Aesthetics for a few years and she is close by in West Springs (only a few minutes away). Before that I drove to the NE so I am very happy we have someone close by. I get my eyebrows threaded and she is awesome. My eyebrows are thin as I had it lasered but she cleans it up and tries to match both side and let it grow. I been happy with her shaping my eyebrows. I highly recommend this place and prices are reasonable. Thank you!

Since getting my lashes done, I keep catching glimpses of myself in the mirror and just obsessing over how beautiful the set is and how much it enhances my eyes. It’s the most perfect volume set I’ve ever gotten (she did a volume fill on my wet set), and she did it so quickly!

Hailan is so good at making my eyebrows look their best. I had them done last year and went back for a touch up recently. I’m very happy with her work and they look very natural. She lets you know the steps and makes you feel comfortable. She’s also a sweetheart. I’m glad I found someone I could confidently trust with my brows. First world problems, I know - but still.
I have been receiving facials for about 18 moths with Queenie and have enjoyed every facial she has recommended. We have a rotation of four that we go with and it has to do with skin type and what is the best care for what I want to accomplish. The location is right in Kensington so cannot ask for a better spot and the clinic itself is very clean and well kept. Highly recommend this place if you want your skin to look and feel better even after just 1 or 2 facials.

I had my eyebrows done with Amy at Joielene Artistry and had the greatest experience. I was nervous about the idea of permanent makeup but Amy quickly put my mind at ease with her kind and professional demeanor. She spent a long time making sure everything was perfect before beginning the tattooing and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Her gentle touch combined so well with the freezing gel that I almost felt like I could sleep through the whole thing! Over 40 years ago, I had Paul Jeffries of the “original” Smilin’ Buddha, ‘fix’ a tattoo that I had done in Edmonton (before it was legal in Calgary) & was extremely disappointed w/. I was so impressed w/ his work, I had him do another one for me.
Now many, many years have passed & tattoo’s do fade, so I was beyond excited when I learned that Smilin’ Buddha was still around. Lindsay had now taken over where Paul left off. To say that I am as impressed w/ her ‘gift’ of tattooing is an understatement. So impressed, I have another appointment scheduled!

I recently walked into this shop during a Halloween event and everyone was so friendly I decided to come back for a tattoo later that day. Jay did a tattoo that my 4 year old drew for me, he did it perfectly. He let her watch him tattoo it for a few seconds then we showed her at the end, he even caught a picture of her face for me! She was so happy and won’t stop showing everyone! If you are thinking of getting a new tattoo, I would highly recommend coming here. Very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent variety of artists as well. I will be back and I will recommend Jay to anyone who will hear it haha

Scott V. (owner of Eternal Image) is probably one of, if not the best tattooist in Calgary. I don’t know how long he was tattooing before I met him, but I’ve had all my work done by him for over 24 years.
There are three chairs in the studio w/Scott taking the first one by the window. The other two chairs/stools have sort of rotated. There was a guy named Dylan at one point.
Mack helps out at the front desk booking appointments, answering phones and emails. I make it sound easier than it is.
You can’t go wrong having Scott as your tattoo artist. Just make sure you are prepared to wait. His books fill up fast.
Cleanliness: I’ve been coming to Eternal Image since their location on 17th Avenue SW (currently where the BestBuy is) and it has always been kept immaculately clean. As soon as you set foot through the door the smell of pine-sol or similar cleaner hits you. The artists take pride in a clean sanitary work station.

I found Frank to be quick, efficient and well priced. He cleared our kitchen sink plug on short notice despite having a full day of other emergencies.
It was a real delight dealing with this company. We bought a pretty old home to use as an investment property but ran into lots of issues. We decided to just put in new plumbing systems, gasline, sump pumps etc. H20 Expert Plumbing & Gas came, did all the underground and above ground plumbing for both of our secondary legal suits, pulled the permits and called for the necessary plumbing and gas inspections from the city. In all, they did two full bathrooms, one kitchen, one laundry and a wet bar in the basement. And on the Mainfloor, they put in one full bathroom, one half bathroom, new island kitchen, laundry as well as pot fillers. Collins is a machine!! The job was clean. And the workmanship and attention to detail shown really made me happy. They got our job completed well ahead of schedule and the pricing was very fair for the quality of work we got. Thank you Collins! You are now our plumber for life. Myself and Dave couldn’t be happier. (Oh! The sump pump has been working perfectly l and we no-longer have water coming up into the basement). If it were possible, we would give you 10 stars?
Had a slight leak with a fitting on our hot water tank and needed a quick repair. Called and spoke to a very friendly lady and she arranged for a visit the next morning. Austin came out this morning and handled the fix without issue. Friendly and professional young man. The hot water tank was installed by Day and Knight back in 2014 and we were impressed by the level of service. That high standard continues to today. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you!
Arpi's has been doing our furnace, air conditioning, humidifier, and water softener work for over 25 years. They recently replaced our furnaces. Their service over the past 25 years has been outstanding. The Arpi's representatives that come to our house are always professional, courteous and very good at what they do. Very happy with Neil. I was drilling pilot holes into the drywall when sparks came out and the electric breaker went off. Neil came in and advised me on the process to fix the damaged wire behind the drywall and gave advice on how to avoid a repeat of the issue.
He is knowledgeable and even pointed out how the electrical panel in the house wasn't installed properly by the builder.

The keys I get cut from ABOE always work. Sometimes if you get them done other places they're sticky, but ABOE always work. I only get keys cut here now. They're also very affordable. Highly recommend.

Aura Lock has helped us out on many jobs in the past. Mike's abilities and knowledge far exceed what we typically get from other locksmiths. We can also trust their work will meet proper fire and building codes which many other outfits do not seem to follow.

We've lived in our home for over 20 years and really wanted to have a bit of a facelift so we decided to call some places to get quotes on flooring. Out of all the companies I called, Irene and Josue impressed us so much. (One company quoted me over the phone without even seeing the floor!)I emailed them in the morning and Irene emailed me back promptly and asked if they could come by that day to see the floors. They called me again ahead of their arrival to confirm I was home.Josue and Irene both came to quote the job. They were professional and very amicable.We were surprised with Josue's work ethic, working diligently from 7:30 to 5:30. By the end of the first day, the floors were all sanded and I was shocked at the efficiency of his machinery... hardly any dust created! By the end of the second day, floors were cleaned and he hand sanded difficult areas like around the fireplace. The final day, floors were stained and a sealant was applied. I've included before and after pictures.We appreciated the service provided...very attentive and eager to ensure that we were satisfied with the work done.I don't usually write Google reviews but this company's customer service (before, during and after) has been outstanding we love our new floors! I wouldn't hesitate to have them in again!

I hired Kay2 as my general contractor to help with a renovating the rooftop of my home so that it would be able to support a hot tub. As part of the project they expanded the size and structure of the existing rooftop patio, replaced the existing patio flooring, levelled, and waterproofed it. They placed joists in the walls on all levels of the house below the hot tub and then craned up and hooked up the hot tub.
From planning to execution we worked on the project for around 1 year and when all was finished I was very happy with the final result. They took my vision and executed it perfectly.
The team at Kay2 were all incredible. Moe did such a meticulous job of making sure the roof patio was perfectly level, but slightly elevated to fit a gas line under it, and all waterproof; very talented. Trever was the ultimate handyman, fixing any deficiencies immediately if they arose. And huge shoutout to Suzette who coordinated the whole project with myself and her team of professional subcontractors (of which there were many.. plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, roofers, etc) who did great work all around. She was always reachable and communicative which goes a long way during a long and complex project.
Kay2 also stands by their work and will continue to fix any project related deficiencies should they arise in the future. Cost was always transparent and communicated to me in advance, and overall seemed quite fair.
Overall there is a reason that Kay2 has won awards in the past for their work, and I will absolutely continue to use them for any future projects!
We bought our house partway through the build, and working with Mirand made the whole experience really smooth. He was super flexible and let us make a few changes along the way, which we really appreciated. What stood out most was how present and involved he was. He’s at the house every day, knows exactly what’s going on, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on — which you don’t see often. His communication was solid the entire time, and he always made us feel like we could reach out with questions, big or small. There was a clear sense of urgency and care behind everything he did, and it never felt like things were dragging or being brushed off. Mirand is also just an easy person to work with — friendly, approachable, and respectful. His team was great too — everyone we met on-site was professional and kind. All in all, we’re really happy with how everything turned out and grateful to have had Mirand leading the build. With all the rain we had this year in July water came into the basement of my property and soaked the carpet.
I called a ton of companies to ask about someone looking at it and helping me come up with solutions. One company tried to diagnose over the phone whiteout sending someone to have a look, one wanted to charge me $50K because they were telling me that the water was coming in through the cold joint, and the rest either didn’t reply or wanted to book the inspection months later.

We had a nasty wasps' nest under our backyard deck. The deck was flush to the ground and not accessible without ripping up the boards. We tried sealing the "main" entrance and caulking the slats. Then we put tarps and rugs on the deck and hung wasp traps. In hindsight, we were no competition and it was a futile effort. They were constantly finding new entrances. My only regret was not calling sooner. One treatment only. Ecopest was the epitome of professionalism and extremely reasonable. Highly recommend them.

After reaching out to several landscaping companies in Calgary, we landed on Jon who came out to our home and went through a plan with us in detail. His quote was fair without compromising quality. Him and his team were onsite for several days and did a great job transforming our lawn through planting hedges, regrading, laying sod, relocated a tree and did a lot of planting.
Our lawn looks great and we’ve had multiple neighbors come by and comment on it since the work was done. We would highly recommend Jon and his team and we would work with them again without hesitation.

Bought a new house in NW Calgary -- needed some back yard maintenance as it was certainly neglected by the previous owners (clearly lots of dogs and damages) . A friend recommended "Frenchy" -- he came out, suggested a few ideas. We agreed on quite a bit of things; Tree Removal, portion of our Fence upgrade, landscaping and soil, and some minor repairs/removal.Frenchy was done in a weekend with everything cleaned up and "ready for use" -- We finally had a backyard we could begin to customize to our liking.
We hired Vivid Gardens to complete a Landscape Restoration project. After 25 years, we needed to revitalize our gardens. It was not a huge job, but the owner “Paul” said he could fit us in his company’s busy schedule. Paul and his team did a great job in transforming our yard! He was knowledgeable on what shrubs needed extensive pruning to be revitalized. Previous landscapers always did a cursor job but Paul got right in there, identifying branch by branch on what needed to go and what needed to stay. A large part of our requirements was to remove weed-block and rocks from each garden bed and replace it with a specialty bled mulch. Not a fun task for any landscaper but his team happily completed despite the smoky conditions. The schedule had to be extended due to the air quality and enormity of the task, but Paul committed to the original price quoted. He will not leave your property until we were completely satisfied. In this day in age, you do not find many companies left that still believe in “delighting the customer”. We will be contracting Vivid Gardens to do future work and highly recommend Paul for your landscaping needs.

Front desk and vet techs really make this place. Warm smiles when you enter and they clearly care for your problem fuzzball almost as much as you do. Heck, they saw that my pup had been to the ER and demanded to know how he was doing before the door even swung shut.

The staff is very caring and kind. My kitten got neutered and microchipped here, and the staff made Comet feel very comfortable. And his healing is going great. And they were able to get my other kitty, Meteor, in asap after I called for his shots and a ripped nail. They answer all my first-time kitty mum questions. I definitely recommend them.
The staff and Dr took great care of our friendly Tom boy cat. He is a long hair 6 years old and an indoor boy so only needs his vaccinations every three years just in case!
He also had his butt shaved because of his long hair - they did a great job and Tom is a happy boy after his spa day and is not embarrassed one bit about his bare butt?
Absolutely incredible staff and service. I’ve have 1 cat and 3 dogs over the last 31 years. All at coach hill vet. (All looked after DrMcbride at any given time ). The love, support and care from both Dr.McBride and Dr. Barker but also the techs and front desk staff is why our family will continue to go there. After losing our first dog with them, it felt like our loss was their loss. It felt like they truly cared and loved him too.
I feel like each vet offers a different approach and experiences, but it is welcomed. Their knowledge, experience and expertise helped give us everything we could need and more over the years.

Our furbaby Jesse spent the last 3 weeks at the resort while we were away on vacation. It was his first time ever being boarded and he came back happy and healthy. Melville, my little Havanese, has truly found his second home here. He goes twice a week for daycare, and every single time I mention it, he bounces around with excitement because he knows exactly where he’s going. The love and care he gets from Alice and her family are beyond amazing — they treat him like one of their own. He also gets his monthly grooming here, and he always comes back looking (and smelling!) fantastic. I can honestly say Alice is the best I’ve ever known, and I feel so lucky Melville has this place in his life.
May has been our groomer for our dog since he was a puppy! Since day one she’s been so kind to his reactivity and treats him with so much patience. We’ve brought multiple of our dogs to her, and the love truly is so consistent with all the dogs we bring her. She truly is a rare type of groomer, so grateful that Mochi is her client :-)

I have 3 standards that were wooly girls in need of a full shave aside from top knots & tails and ears if she could save them. One was a 9 month old puppy in for her first big girl groom. I really love the atmosphere in the studio. The people at the front desk are super friendly and welcoming. It’s always so calm and peaceful. My favorite class is the meditation with sound bath it’s a beautiful experience every time.
I would highly recommend Breathe Hot Yoga! All the instructors are absolutely amazing ! I love their cold lemongrass towels and the cushioned yoga floor. I enjoy the Yin Yang and the Hips and Hamstrings classes. Thanks Breathe!

I have done prenatal yoga with both my babies now and the prenatal yoga experience for both has been absolutely wonderful! The moves and knowledge is just what a pregnant body and mind needs. With my second pregnancy I was able to do 4 private couples yoga with my husband which helped us connect on a very deep level and prepare us for the labour and delivery. All the work I put in during pregnancy certainly paid off during labour, delivery and postpartum - of course not easy and not without challenges but the body and mind connection and exercise helped greatly. Baby’s Breath Yoga now offers postpartum and mum and baby yoga which is amazing so I can continue my journey event though I am not having any more children. 6/5 stars! If you’re pregnant or postpartum you must go!

Really enjoy the intimate classes that stay true to Kundalini yoga practices. Appreciate that there is a sacred place that incorporates meditation, sound healing by gongs and kundalini yoga. Also the community has been so welcoming.
Debby's 30 hour Yin Yoga teaching workshop is an absolute must for anyone who has an interest in yoga. Debby is a true professional and her course material is practical and easy to understand. I learned so much from the "hands on" portion of the training; students see and feel what various body differences do and can't do.
The Yoga Studio offers an amazing assortment of classes in a zen setting. I attend yoga for better backs with Spring Lambrakos. I have bursitis in my shoulder - after a couple of months of attending, I am now pain free, have better range of motion, and sleep better. I also notice my posture improved (the hump at the back of my neck is reducing significantly!!). Spring is extremely knowledgeable in her practices, helpful to every student, and a warm, caring soul. She has a great sense of humour which helps when challenging us to do better! I have also taken a few classes from Brett Heilman who is a promising new instructor with a calming demeanour and high skill level - I felt great after his classes! The prices are affordable and they often offer specials!
I just booked a class after not being there for awhile. I got there right at 18:45. Would not let me in. I understand the girls at the front are just don't their job but, I have been to numerous classes at this studio where they have let people in last minute. I'm guessing it's because I'm not a "regular". Last time I went, I bought a pass on special. When I got there they told me I couldn't use it and they charged me full price. I will be asking to transfer my passes to another studio, let them go to waste or donate them.
This is a great place for Pilates. I went there tonight for my first time and loved it. Definitely will go back.
A year ago after visiting multiple doctors and physiotherapists for pain from a undetected fracture in my tarsalia and excruciating pain in my lower back I met Anna who suggested I should try clinical essential movement. From my first treatment on I felt welcomed, taken seriously and being treated very kindly and knowledgeable. Anna listened when my boundaries were reached always tried to find another way to make movement possible and encouraged me to not give up. After 3 sessions the pain in my food was so manageable that I could pick up walking again, after a few more sessions it disappeared completely. It took a while longer to deal with my chronic lower back pain. I joint her online group classes which are super enjoyable. She guides you through each movement with clear easy to understand instructions. After each session there is a quick feedback round where you can clarify any questions you might have. Within a year the combination of clinical treatment, online classes and practice at home helped me to be able to do a short hike back country camping trip with a 12 kg back pack on my back. A year ago I would have laughed had someone told me that I would be able to do this again. I am very grateful for the high quality of Anna's medical treatments and her online classes.You have nothing to loose but your pain - try it!
I had my first Pilates session with Elina today, one on one and it was absolutely fantastic! Heavenly! I felt the stretches all over my body!! My sugar levels dropped like stones!! I felt reborn with energy both mental and physical!! I so believe that by regular practice Elina will cure all my chronic pains and I will be able to get back to my both passions karate and standard ballroom dancing!’ Big big thank Elina for a fantastic session and for giving me hope to get my body back!

Kimberly is an amazing massage therapist! I get deep tissue massages from her and she is really good at targeting tight muscles and relieving pain! The first time I got a massage from her, I felt so much better afterwards! 10/10, would absolutely recommend this place to those with tight muscles. This place changes lives!

I have been going to Li’s Chinese Therapeutic Massage for services such as Deep Tissue Massage, Cupping, Gua Shia, Acupuncture, and Chinese Foot Reflexology (just to name a few of my favourite services!) for about 13 yrs now! The experience of booking an appointment at this clinic has always been very smooth and easy! I can usually get in the same day or in as little as a day away! So when I have such bad body pain, I am confident that I can get treatment pretty quickly and not be suffering with pain for days. Unlike other places that I’d have to wait a week before I could get in. Their prices are reasonable too! Worth it for sure!!! I went to Dr. Amy for acupuncture. She treated my TMJ. I was in pain for quite awhile but she managed to make me feel a lot better in one session. I particularly enjoyed her buccal massage, it was very helpful. I definitely recommend her for pain treatment!

Been for several acupuncture treatments at Apple Blossom Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine. Christianne does tui na, gua sha, facial rejuvenation and fire cupping. Treatments are $130-155 for 90 min, $90-130 for 60 min.
Tried facial rejuvenation acupuncture ($135 for 90 min) and acupuncture 90 ($130 for 90 min). Facial acu was very gentle (needles and light cupping). Regular acu was needling, then ending with a good pressured massage.
I have never had acupuncture before so I have nothing to compare it to. But I wanted to say my experience with Dr Yu was a good one. I have Trigger Thumb and now have more movement in my thumb and have confidence he will be able to restore my thumb to normal function after 4 months of not being able to use it properly. So thank you!
