Caroline has braided my 9-yr-old daughter’s hair several times and it is always such a pleasure. When my daughter got to see her hair in the mirror just now, she squealed and jumped up for excited hugs because of how beautiful she felt. I experienced my first massage today with Madresha was amazing. I have received maybe 50 massages in my lifetime from over 10 massage therapists and Madresha is my top choice for quality and cost. Her attention to detail during the massage was great, perfect pressure, and unique techniques left me feeling light as a cloud :) She uses essential oils appropriately, warm coconut oil and there were no strong perfumes or smells. The facility was inviting, relaxing, and clean. I will be returning soon and I highly recommend Madresha with Healing Mood Massage!!!
I was brand new to The Chair. The salon is very cute, clean and rustic. This was my first time going to a different stylist so I was a little nervous but Brigitte worked well with my crazy thick hair and gave me exactly what I asked for. She was very relaxed and personable and I would recommend her to friends and family.
Requested style: I requested to clean up my bangs and blend my layers into a short bob and Brigitte did exactly that.
I can be very picky about how my hair is cut and Matt is so calm and non-judgmental and does an excellent job! He really listens to what you want and makes sure you are happy. The salon is also very clean and beautiful, and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!
I see Lisa-Marie at Paper Salon and she is just wonderful! Incredibly talented, kind and friendly and a true artist. She does an amazing job with my cut and color services and recently gave me some highlights that turned out beautifully. I highly recommend Paper Salon and Lisa-Marie. Location is convenient, lots of street parking and as a bonus, you can stop by The Future across the street for all your witchy, weirdo needs afterward! Each time I have had an appointment at this salon, I have never left disappointed. I have always received an outstanding cut and/or color. The staff are fantastic at their craft and if the owner is present during your appointment time, you will likely receive extra hospitality and an entertaining conversation. I would suggest to plan ahead for appointments, they book up quick for obvious reasons

My son Ian's world revolves around RockandRoll music, and he also happens to have Down's Syndrome. He gets the VIP treatment from Lethal Leisa, she goes above and beyond to make his experience super awesome! She does incredible Rock and Roll makeovers on his hair. Leisa and Jennifer and Stephanie are the best team and so much fun to hang out with. Ian has gotten so much attention and compliments on his hair since Leisa has been his hairdresser and his self-esteem and confidence has been super healthy. I go to salon gold to get my haircut and recently dyed as well. I go for Sarah, a hairdresser and she does a wonderful job each time. Recently I had her bleach my hair and she was able to lift my hair from a 4 to a 10 in 2 hours as well as trim it. Needless to say it turned out great and I am very happy with my results. I never felt discomfort in the salon and there is always some friendly chatter.
I don't say this casually - my experience with Hannah was transformative. I got way more than a completely bespoke haircut; I got a massive amount of education about washing, styling, drying, etc. that goes far beyond what I've learned through too many hours of clicking on Pinterest links. I can't believe how lucky I was to find this place!

Booked an appointment online pretty easily, and though I was not able to see the stylist I was originally scheduled to see, I was rebooked for the following day. It’s a fun and eclectic feel once you’re inside, courteous staff and it felt pretty inclusive in terms of staff having knowledge of all hair types and textures. I wish they did more to fight the pink tax though. Would highly recommend. There are plenty of parking options, and the nursery next door is a must see.

I thought I could walk-in but was told they do not take them. Nonetheless, was able to get in in an hour and a half. Very accommodating. I think someone asked how much a men's cut is: $30 (a bit on the medium end for me), $10 for a shampoo. Credit fees have gone up for retailers, so they prefer cash. Karina cut my hair and I was surprised that she had adjustable metal clippers for the short side length. I was very satisfied with my cut. Both were really friendly and talkative. I would definitely go back.

I’ve been coming to this barbershop for over 6 years. The attention to detail is impeccable. Very professional. I always leave feeling great. Great prices compared to the mall or similar shops. It’s a great spot in MPLS. A great bakery and coffee shop next door make a day of it. I bring my nephew with me too he loves it also. I think it’s something special when you can bring kids to a barbershop and they like it.

I highly recommend going to see Heidi for gel manicures!! I have never had my nail polish chip, and she always ensures the nail shape is intact, sometimes adding on to the corners and providing cuticle services where other salons I know would charge extra per nail but she holds her services to a higher standard of knowing what looks and works well!

So happy with the haircut I got here !! I have coarse Asian hair and this is one of the few times a hair stylist complimented the thickness of my hair rather than complained. She clearly has worked with different Asian hair types. She cut it so quickly and efficiently. I showed her a picture and she cut it just the way I wanted it. I love the way it looks when I style it and the layers are also great when my hair is straight as well. It’s a great price and I can tell how passionate she is about her job. Face Foundrie was recommended to me by a friend, so when I was going through a rough face breakout phase, I decided to give their hydrafacial a try. Hydrafacials are notoriously super spendy and I've only had one before, so admittedly my expectations were high. The space is darling! Very calming and peaceful decor. Check in was easy. I was surprised to see the service beds are not in separate rooms but just separated by curtains - this didn't affect the experience until the end when another client was talking loudly next to me. My esti was very kind - she asked me about my current routine and I walked through what I was using. Some of her suggestions surprised me, as they differed from what my dermatologist had recommended, but appreciated her input. The treatment itself was good - I love seeing how much gunk the hydrafacial pulls out! I was a bit bummed that my facial didn't include neck or décolletage - other facials I've gotten at other spaces have done those as part of the facial. Perhaps that's just not included with a hydrafacial? As the most expensive offering though, it was a bit of a bummer. I do feel it helped hydrate and cleanse my face, but am not sure if I would come back soon for that particular treatment. I'd consider trying one of their more affordable mini or regular facials in the future though!

Since then, she has deeply listened to the state of my mental health and my physical health and treated accordingly. I feel so seen and heard with Sarah and the equilibrium in my health is a testament to the power of her work!

We recently hosted my bachelorette party at Aurora Spa. The experience was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I cannot say enough good things about Rohanna and the team. Firstly, Rohanna was extremely communicative with us leading up to the day of. We had 20+ attendees, and all of us were able to select any treatment, ranging from pedicures to 3 hour packages! Rohanna coordinated with us and her staff to develop a treatment schedule and ensure that our attendees could enjoy the treatment they selected. We had a space in the spa for us to gather -- the staff set up tables and even helped us carry in the food and beverages. We were able to hang out in the space and laugh and enjoy each others company, while the staff was there to help with whatever we needed. The treatments were AMAZING and everyone felt so relaxed and pampered, while still enjoying each others company. Literally every detail was executed to perfection; the timeline, the services, the hospitality of the team. I highly, highly recommend partnering with Rohanna to host a spa day or even just popping into Aurora for an individual spa service as it is reasonably priced for an AMAZING experience. I really like this place. Its a shame that the jacuzzi was not working the day I made my appointment and also the sauna in the men’s area its not clean. It has a weird orange musk all over. I really enjoy my CBD therapy massage but thing can be better in the common area.

Megan is amazing! I have seen her grow from the ground up and it truly is inspiring. Her studio is incredible and she makes you feel welcomed from the start! This is in response to the review a few hours ago by Timothy Bands. First of all, I'm usually the only white person there also and I'm always treated very well.
Secondly, Tiwanna is from Gary, Indiana, so I don't know what you heard (maybe voices on your head?) but she only speaks English.
Thirdly, if you had on mascara when you came in for your appointment, like I did, you have to wash that stuff off before you get your lashes or they're not going to stick well. Or if there's some goop on your lashes, same thing. It's just standard practice.
I've been coming regularly to see her for about 2 months, every 3 weeks, and her fingers have never smelled like anything, so perhaps sensory hallucinations also?
Tiwanna is great and does a great job. Sorry the fullness of your new lashes freaked you out, but you'll get used to them. And then you'll love them!

Called and made an appointment same day for a septum piercing. Once you arrive immediately you can tell it’s a very clean and well run establishment. Alex was setting up as I filled out my paperwork. Once I was finished he was ready too. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. I knew right away I was in good hands. He explained the entire process before hand so I knew exactly what was going to happen. He showed me all the tools and how everything was sterile. During the piercing he made sure I was okay after each step. Gave clear instructions to me on what I needed to do (breathing, close my eyes). I went in at 4:00pm and was done by 4:20pm. By far a great experience and how fast it went was amazing. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to get a piercing.

David Dettloff is an amazing tattoo artist! I chose him for his unique style and beautiful, photorealistic color tattoos, as well as his ability to do cover-ups.
From the beginning, David has been friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. During our consultation, he explained why my original idea didn't work well and instead designed a beautiful, custom tattoo that covered up my old ink. I am so happy with the results!

Jeff's talent and work are incredible. Jeff is careful and meticulous (something you obviously want with a permanent tattoo) and takes great care, even with the simplest of designs or even text. In my case, Jeff did some initial work on my right arm at an event held at the shop, and it went so well that I came back a few weeks later for a similar one on my left.
It's not to say that the artists that did my prior work weren't any good, just that Jeff's work was better, for many reasons.
First, Jeff took great care and time to align the two tats so that they matched on each arm and were in sync with each other. Jeff knows just what pressure to use so that the inking is well done without any additional "pain."
Best of all, Jeff is simply an awesome human being. Friendly, nice, outgoing, and professional.
If this is your first time getting inked or then next on a walking canvas, Jeff is who you want putting that permanent person statement on your most precious possession, your bod.
Quality work and fair prices. Be sure to tip well, Jeff's work and talent are deserving of the "extra bump."

In requesting a memorial tattoo that would remind me of the deep and expansive beauty and love that my mom imprinted in my life, Dolores skillfully etched the perfect design onto my arm. I had a hard time envisioning the exact tattoo I desired, but Dolores took note of the vague idea I had and created this resplendent quetzal (national bird of Guatemala) that I find breathtaking. Dolores was very responsive to all my questions and made the process easy. I am very pleased with Dolores' knowledge, experience and masterful work.
