The Uptown Veterinarian in Minneapolis has been providing excellent veterinary services to pet owners since 1981. In 2018, Dr. Anne Lombeida and Dr. Antonio Lombeida acquired the practice, with a mission to deliver the highest level of care for canine and feline patients while supporting the human-animal bond through client education and responsible pet ownership.
Clients have praised the clinic's outstanding service and compassionate care. The practice is clean, organized, and offers full-service with separate areas for dogs and cats. The veterinarians are described as honest, sincere, and caring, taking the time to explain diagnoses and options in detail. The staff's kindness and dedication to the pets' welfare have left a lasting impression on clients, who have expressed their intention to recommend the Uptown Veterinarian to others seeking exceptional veterinary care.
This veterinarian is very good. My cat had a cat claw stuck in her paw and they were able to see her the same day. The nurse was really well super psychoeducative - they’re very empathetic and - the doctor was wonderful herself - explaining everything calm willing to apply affordable prices very nice lady very nice team would recommend this place 10 out of 10 my cat loved it here as well!
I can't recommend Uptown Veterinarian enough! They have always given my pets great care, but when my family was surprised by a fairly quick move to Hawaii, they went above and beyond to help us prepare for the journey and all of the tests and paperwork that come with it. Fabulous staff!
If you’re looking for a vet in Uptown, I genuinely can’t recommend Uptown Vet enough.

In the past year, they’ve become so much more than just our vet. They never make me feel crazy for bringing up a concern, and they’ve always been willing to dig deeper instead of sending us home with a “let’s just wait and see.”
When we first started coming here, I didn’t even realize how uncomfortable my dog really was. Thanks to this… read full review
