We recently worked with Matt and his crew to help spruce up our backyard and make it both more functional and aesthetic. We are really happy with the results. As with any home project, there were some unexpected challenges that popped up. But Matt worked hard to find a solution and presented a variety of options so we could pivot. We had a wonderful experience working with Refuge Design and Landscape on our backyard. We had recently moved into our first home and the backyard was covered in playground turf and overgrown with weeds. We were overwhelmed and in dire need of help. Matt helped develop a vision to make the yard not just usable, but a place we really love being. The crew worked magic and in just a couple of days, they had put down grass seed for a turf area, put in a beautiful shade perennial garden under and around our giant maple tree, and created a sweet little area for seating. Highly recommend working with them, especially if you’re lost and need guidance you can trust.
