I used a list service to get a few contractors in my area. Out of the handful that I called we ended up selecting Chris and Entire Exteriors for a few reasons that put them ahead of the others that responded. First was the time that Chris took listening to what we wanted and inspecting the deck to see if the structure was sound. Second, was the thorough itemized estimate that held true until the end. Third was the second trip to the house to review decking and railing samples. The renovation took a few days longer than planned, which happens with most projects. The crew took their time and did an excellent job. On final walkthrough I only had one concern and by the time I called about it, Chris had been to the house and addressed it. “First a Disclosure: Ryan is my neighbor but before this project we only had a 'wave and smile' acquaintance.
We had a great first meeting about this project. I had presented him with my plans and dimensions along with a 'must have' list and a 'wish list'. He was exceptionally collaborative, insightful, and knowledgeable. I had some some 'wants' that I didn't know if they would work or not and Ryan worked to get as many of those as we could working within our budget.
He had a highly competent crew of subs that he consulted with and reviewed their work consistently. His subs were also very communicative with my wife and me about what was taking place and any concerns or adjustments that needed to take place.

And above all Ryan and his subs/crew were all very respectful of our privacy, our pets and our home & property before, during and after the project.
