Our family has completed two residential construction projects with Josh and the team at Copperline Homes. We could not be happier with the end result as well as the process. We had not undertaken ground-up construction before and Josh helped us every step of the way. He often made design and related suggestions using his great design sense and construction expertise. The quality of construction is excellent. Bend is a very competitive construction market and Copperline has a good percentage of market share and good relationships with its subcontractors. This is extremely important. Both of our projects turned out onetime and on-budget. Again, we couldn't recommend Copperline more highly!

She was very gentle and gave personalized recommendations based on my skin that day. I left feeling relaxed and glowing. She didn’t give me anything I didn’t need or try to upsell me. I will be coming back monthly. Definitely the best facial I’ve been had in a long time!
Dr. Scott was amazing! I had a consult and adjustment and felt almost instant relief in the areas that were bothering me.
We met with a couple different contractors from here in Bend, OR about our master bathroom and walk in closet remodel as it was quite extensive. Ultimately, we selected George and Woodworx to do it based on the bidding process. George was very thoughtful in addressing potential issues and concerns that might come up during construction which ultimately saved us thousands of dollars. George and his knowledge, care, and punctuality made it an easy selection. Their pricing was right in the middle of other estimates we got but again they were the only ones to address some of their concerns with us that ultimately saved thousands. If we wouldn't haven't selected Woodworx, it would have cost multiple thousands to address the items in construction.
Also George is very good looking and is in great shape.

I had her blend in more blond with the reddish color and the gray undertone. My hair is naturally a red blond color. But it came in completely gray. She is Amazing. Also Mona who does brows is Amazing too.

I finally found a local barber that knows how to cut my hair and listen on how I wanted it cut. He even shaved me around the ears and neck with hot shaving cream and dash of bay rum after shave. I highly recommend Sal and I will be back!

Funny story, I’ve struggled to find a great skin fade in Bend. I was standing in line to get into a restaurant one day when I noticed the fellow in front of me had a great haircut. He told me about Cru at Brass Tacks, and I got my first haircut there yesterday.
This is the best haircut I’ve had in a long time, and I’ve already received some nice compliments from my wife and a few friends.

Start out by scheduling an appointment on their website. For anyone confused about parking- you scan the QR code in the parking lot, then walk into the barbershop and scan that QR code and you'll have 4 hours of free parking. Jess did my son's haircut and she was warm and welcoming right away. She knew a lot about cutting hair and helped my son understand how she could cut it like how he wanted but in a way that would work with his hair texture and growth pattern. She chatted with me and my son as she carefully cut his hair. Christian also came over and chatted a bit. It was fun that he's also from Utah. And they take cash card or Venmo which is so convenient!
This tanning salon is such a gem. It’s beautiful, clean and comfortable. They have great prices and the owner was super welcoming and informative. The Versa spray tan machine was the nicest one I’ve been in.
I’ve been coming here for years. They have never had A/C. The gals that work so hard here often have red faces and balmy skin from sweating.
Would be nice to see the store invest in a legit wall split A/C for them. I’ve been sitting here for a while next to the open door and it’s toasty in here.
Nothing else to complain about, take care of your hard working gals in the summer months.

First photo is my nails fresh, the next photo is my nails after 3 weeks. They hold up so great and feel practically indestructible. Cali is super meticulous and very obviously cares about doing her best work. Plus she is so fun, which makes it an all around great experience.

I have been going to Freshly Filed for over four years, and I truly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my nails. My nail tech, Bre, is in a league of her own. Her attention to detail is unmatched—every line, every shape, every finish is absolute perfection. She has an incredible eye and steady hand, especially when it comes to hand painting nail art. She also can do the most stunning foil, chrome, and cat-eye polishes.
One of the things I love most is how she’ll custom mix colors by hand until it’s exactly the shade I’m envisioning. Whether I walk in with a photo, a vague idea, or just a mood, Bre brings it to life with skill and creativity that blows me away every time. The quality of her work consistently exceeds expectations, and my nails always last beautifully (about 4-6 weeks!!). I get nonstop compliments on my nails wherever I go!

Until you get a pedicure with Connie, you might think $50 was high, but I would go back in a flash. I felt as though I had gone for a foot massage instead of a pedicure, and the great work on my toenails was just the frosting on the cake. Shag Salon is a huge place with high ceilings. It is beautiful, feels airy, and smells fresh.
Alyssa was fantastic! The heated bed, music, kindness, and quality of her work was just all amazing. I got the lash lift and tint and the whole appointment I felt relaxed and in good hands. My first time getting lashes was with Denise. I am so happy I did! The first week, I received compliments like crazy, and they were not about the lashes, although, really they were as that was the only thing that changed. The quality and service that I received from Denise is over and above expectations. She knows her field of expertise and really truly enjoys her profession. In regards to lashes she knows how to keep them from falling out. She suggested so many ways to extend duration of the lashes and what I could do at home. She is truly one of the best lash ladies in my book.

I recently had a massage here and overall had a very nice time. The steam room was a major plus. The staff were also very sweet however my massage therapist was a little too chatty for my taste. Not only do my lashes always look perfect, but Trynnity is so knowledgeable, I’ve learned so much from her about the process. I can't say enough good things about these guys. We have had ReNew out twice in the last couple of months to address some plumbing issues in our home. They were very responsive, professional, and were great at talking through the options with us to ensure that we knew exactly what was our best choice (even if it had meant not doing the work we originally intended for them to do). In the end having them re-plumb for our sink faucets was the right choice and it was done quickly. my 20 year old garbage disposal started failing. I found a deal on line and bought a new one. Next step was finding a plumber and Rusty is the sunriver local talent. So gave him a call and left a message with my problem. Shortly after I received a text message with instructions to reset the bottom button and try turning it with a hex wrench. Worked a bit but the disposal was dying. So Rusty showed up the day after the new one arrived. He was more than happy to install what I bought. Installing the new one was not as easy as the youtube videos so I'm glad I hired a pro. Little over an hour and job was done. Nice guy who knew what he was doing. I know what plumbers charge these days and I was blown away at the good deal rusty gave me on this. Don't even think of finding someone else if you live in sunriver area. Bend is part of his territory too!
A great company. They were easy to schedule with and showed up on time. The work, a check of our solar hot water system, was done quickly and very efficiently. My stream of questions were answered informatively and politely. The price was reasonable and fair. This is only company I will call for help with our hot water solar system. They were great eight years ago and are still great today.
Last night hot water heater stopped working. Called Severson in the morning at 8 and had Tom and Zach here at 10:30. Quick diagnosis and the guys found we needed two new thermostats. I had a hybrid 80-gal water heater installed by Macmillan Plumbing. They are both incredibly talented guys who saw it to go over and beyond their efforts to install this heater in my garage which required a special condensate drain. They even rerouted my condensate drain from our HVAC system to the water heater drain and did not charge me for it. They were efficient and worked from the minute they got here to the moment they left the property. The price was right and I felt good about what they accomplished. Don't hesitate hiring these guys.
We recently needed two plumbing repairs at our home and the team at McDermott Plumbing professionally handled both repairs. One was the repair of a broken toilet and the second was to repair a leak caused by the installation of a new dishwasher from Costco. The Costco installer was unable to properly fix a leak he caused while installing the new unit. These repairs were made on separate days and both times my call was answered promptly and the technician arrived on time with all the items he needed to execute both repairs. We are very satisfied with McDermott Plumbing and will not hesitate to use them again when the need arises.

My husband and I recently purchased our very first property that we are hoping to build our home on. We also purchased a new 31ft fifth wheel and have been looking forward to moving into it. Unfortunately after buying the property we have discovered that although we have electricity on site it is not wired for what we need. I panicked and began calling electricians. After some unfortunate run-ins with other companies who told me "they could not get to me until the middle of the next month," I lucked out when I called Quality Builders Electric. Harry returned my call the very next day to schedule me for the very next week. He even apologized for not being able to get to it sooner. He was very warm and very understanding of how dire our situation was. He even giggled when I told him I fried a circuit trying to use the blow dryer and then countered with a personal story of his own to make me not feel so bad. Terrific Customer Service!! He even told me he would try to make it down to our property later that day (a Friday) before he left for vacation to give me an estimate... FOR FREE!!! It just so happened that he had another electrician Kevin who was in my neck of the woods and told me he would be there by noon. Wow!!! Kevin was terrific as well. He fixed my circuit so that my husband and I had electricity until they could come out and install the 30 amp plug that we need. Hands down Harry and Kevin are amazing and I can only imagine that the rest of their coworkers are equally as astonishing. THANK YOU Quality Builders Electric Inc. You could not have a better name for your business. I actually can't wait to have you guys come out again when we build our house. Cheers!

This review is long overdue.Last year we were looking to replace the carpet in our living room with the same pinewood flooring we had in the rest of our house. Josh came out to the house and was able to locate and order matching flooring that was delivered in a timely manner.After installation the challenge was trying to match the color of the finish of the 20 year old flooring. Josh spent a long time trying to match the color and because of the age of the finish was not successful. As it became obvious that our only option was to refinish all the floors, Josh offered to do the job for a reasonable price and did the work the following week thanks to a cancelation in his schedule.Bottom line, the floors are beautiful and Josh went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I loved the finished product. I cant recommend Broadside Reclaimed Hardwoods enough.

After we had a toilet overflow and it leaked from the upstairs into the downstairs, I had no idea where to start. A friend recommended Sierra James and I couldn't have been happier. Unfamiliar with the insurance process I had no idea what to expect. Kaelib came and assessed the situation and walked me through what the process would look like. Hannah led me through the insurance process and when my adjuster went AWOL Hannah followed through with my insurance company until someone new was assigned. Steve and Merrit helped me with every step of the rebuild process, even when I threw them a curveball and wanted to remodel another bathroom in the house while the insurance work was being done.

As a 77 year old Disabled Army Infantry Veteran I was approved by VA to replace my Home’s shower with a Barrier free ADA spec “roll in shower.” This was all new info to me but the VA provided the detailed requirements in order to meet Veterans requirements. As I followed the VA Directive I was referred by a fellow Veteran to set up a meeting with Steve Young, Owner and Operator of Bath Techs LLC. Here in Bend. My Veteran friend who is a licensed Contractor has performed work at a number of locations that Steve provided various types of replacement shower installations for and had very complimentary comments. My meeting with Steve confirmed to me that I was not only working with an experienced professional but his ease of conversation, honesty and integrity stood out. While working with the VA guidelines for Disabled Veterans Steve knew exactly what the steps and appropriate actions were and while working closely with my wife and I followed through with the promised timeline, cost and completion. For our shower the 5 project days start to finish were explained and carefully executed. Each phase we met Steve’s sub-contractors who specialized in their specific expertise. We could tell that Steve’s Team was very experienced and each of them were as professional as they completed their work. My wife and I are retired so we at home throughout the process and were impressed with all aspects of the project. All VA requirements have been met, all city permitting approved and no “surprises” took place. Now that we see the quality of work performed by Steve we plan to contract with him to replace our upstairs shower as well. It will not be an ADA shower so we have even greater options to work with. My friend recommended this nursery to me and I came here with my daughter's. I was looking for viburnum and cherry trees, which I was pleasantly surprised they carried multiple varieties of each. The staff were friendly and immediately greeted us and asked how we could be helped. My girls loved their grounds, especially their trampoline ?. They have lots to offer - should be able to find something for any home landscaping project.
Michael listened to me, told me what to expect, then he removed my Ponderosa Pines just as he said. My trees were precariously close to the house, and his crew did an amazing job removing those large Ponderosa without hitting my house or damaging the other landscape plantings. I worked with Nicole and Ian on the project. Ian listened to my wishes and balanced it with doing the right thing. They were efficient, great results (can see my view of the mountains again) and a thorough cleanup. I would definitely recommend them. Personal service with a human touch.
These guys are amazing. We had a Ladder Fuel Reduction notice in Sunriver (along with everyone else). I reached out to Spring River Tree Service and had a call back from the owner Brent the same day. They visited my property, sent the estimate, and corresponded with the SROA on our behalf throughout. Great pricing too. Would highly recommend.
The crew that came to our home did wonderful work. They know their business and care about trees. They even saved a bird nest in one of our trees. They helped identify diseased trees, helped prune trees that could live, and then professionally removed those that needed to be taken out.
We had the crew from Arbor 1 out today to do several jobs that were overdue for attention: remove an Aspen that was too close to our home, remove a Mountain Ash with the same problem, trim six or seven large branches from Junipers that had overgrown fences and the property lines, and the most difficult task - remove some weight from most of the outer limbs of a massive, double-trunk Juniper that was ripe for problems come the next major snowfall.
The crew was amazing. The crew of Trampas (lead member), Spencer, Mack, and Ethan spent the better part of the afternoon on the chores. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and when finished did a super job chipping the mass of limbs and trunks and cleaning up the detritus from their work.
We were impressed with the work of Arbor 1 and its crew and recommend them highly. Thanks again to the crew for their attention to all the details needing done for us.

I came to Pangea (following failed attempts elsewhere) for a chronic issue. Not only was it corrected, but I gained a team of resources that actively try to improve my life; not just skeletally, but mentally and physically too.
I started bringing my 4 month old to pure light last month before his tongue tie revision and have continued since. We recently saw our lactation consultant who we hadn’t seen since before we started at Pure Light. She was amazed by his progress, his body is so much less tense. His digestion is also more regular. My older kiddo has his first appointment next week and I can’t wait to see how chiropractic helps him. Everyone at pure light is so kind and welcoming. I’m very grateful that we found them.

Back pain finally got to the point where I needed to take steps to find a chiropractor. In 10 years in Bend, I had only one other experience that I would not want to repeat. That was before Covid. I asked my group of friends for recommendation and got a good one for Jason Kremer DC, CCSP. At the end of my appointment today I was feeling great and when I left the office, I couldn’t believe how much of a difference just one adjustment made. My back pain is greatly reduced later the same day, and I’ve got a lot more movement. I am 63 years old, and have been to enough chiropractors around the country to be able to say that Jason might be one of the best chiropractors that I’ve put my trust in. I’m planning on more follow up appointments, and looking forward to having a chiropractor who listens and is able to help me get my health where I needed to be and and sustain that. Everyone I talked to in the office today was fantastic. They are very welcoming, and I got the impression that they all really enjoy working together. This is an important thing with any company, whether medically related or not.
Dr Bishop was friendly, efficient, and answered all my questions. She took a deep look at my skin and even recommended a prescription for my toe nail fungus. She didn't pressure me to buy products, and provided a great 1-page Skin Wellness sheet that included diet, ingredients to avoid, recommended supplements, and a simple skin care routine. Dr Bishop is a great doctor with empathy for her patients!
Someone at BD had cancel my appt. The receptionist was able to talk with the doctors and my yearly visit was completed.
The west side is far more inviting than the east side office. Staff there are not friendly nor accomodating and the waiting room is crowded and dirty. They need to take a lesson from the west side office which is friendly and anxious to please.
I love going there. Dr. Neuhaus is so cheerful and smart. Her associate Letti (sp?) is cheerful and so wonderful. They are like good friends. Can’t say enough positive things about them. They are the best.

I am writing to thank the Urgent Care Clinic at the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon for the outstanding care they gave to my 17-year-old cat Opus.
Opus has several age-related issues, including hyperthyroidism and hypertension (high blood pressure), so when I saw a swelling on the right side of his face while I was on vacation in Central Oregon, I contacted my home veterinarians and asked if they thought he should receive urgent care...and they said “yes!”
I had heard great things about the Urgent Care Clinic at VRC, so I took Opus to their west side office, where I was immediately and graciously greeted in their lovely waiting room...which offered snacks and beverages, in case the waiting time was extended!
The waiting time actually quite brief, and Opus was quickly and expertly evaluated by Dr. Rosemary Traylor, whose thorough diagnostic process considered his pre-existing conditions and his advanced age. In the end, Dr. Traylor suspected a tooth abscess, and her lab tests confirmed that diagnosis. She was able to extract some of the accumulated infection and reduce the swelling, and upon her direction, her technician Nicki immediately administered Opus’ first dose of antibiotics and pain relievers.
Both Dr. Traylor and Nicki handled Opus with the gentle and expert care that an elderly and infirm cat needs in order to successfully recover from a menacing infection, and within 24 hours, his condition had improved remarkably. In addition, I received a call the next day from Paige at the clinic, inquiring about Opus’ condition, and assuring me that their records of our visit would be forwarded to my home veterinarians and also to the veterinary dentist in our community.
I feel that the VRC Urgent Care Clinic provided the absolute best care that I could have obtained for my beloved Opus, and all for a very reasonable price. I give the VRC Urgent Care Clinic my highest recommendation!
Friendly and professional staff!! They got Hercules the care and medicine he needed so we could get back to our lives quickly! Took him in after my lil guy had been sick for a few days. They held him for observation only a few hours and already had him diagnosed correctly. We both slept through the night last night!! If you live in the Bend area, I absolutely recommend this animal hospital! Thank you for caring for Hercules!

Compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable. We have horses, dogs, and cats, and wouldn’t dream of taking them anywhere else. I’ve had to have one horse and one dog euthanized due to old age, and the staff could not have been more caring and understanding. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

I find Dr Rex to be a wonderful caring vet. He tells you direct what is wrong with your pet and the alternatives to help them. They are fairly priced for their care. I will recommend them to anyon.
Brookswood got us in for a drop-off appointment last week, even though their schedule was full. They were able to see our dog inbetween regularly scheduled appointments and diagnose what was going on with her. Brookswood continues to be caring, attentive, and friendly, and provides good care to our pets.
Our Portuguese Water Dogs have been groomed by Jessie for several years. I recommend her highly. She always does a great job and our girls come out looking beautiful. She is also very good at giving us feedback on any concerns she may have (like a possible ear infection). She is always courteous and kind.
My Golden Retriever Maybelle had her first visit with Lexi last week. She has very long feathers and was shedding all over my house! and needed a bath, nails, and a trim. She looked gorgeous when I picked her up, silky clean coat, feathers trimmed but not too short. Very happy with the service and we will be back!!

My first time doing pilates was great with Debby. I was in a small group with 4 other women. Debby explained every stretch and exercise clearly and without judgement. I enjoyed the class and will defintely go back.
I love this studio and have become so much stronger in the last 6 months! It’s such a friendly and supportive environment. The instructors are wonderful, especially once you learn their styles and who you jive with the best! It’s always clean and well maintained and just overall a great workout.
I have been taking Pilates faithfully for 20 years, and, at 75, I attribute it to my continued strength, fitness and well-being. When I moved to Bend 7 years ago, I tried a couple of studios that did not meet my high standards. Then I found Move Pilates Bend and have taken classes there twice a week ever since. It’s a lovely small studio with great equipment and excellent teachers. The classes are small, no more than five in a class, so we all receive lots of personal attention to ensure our safety and maximize physical benefits. I wouldn’t take Pilates anywhere else.

Mark has been tremendously helpful to my partner who was suffering from chronic hip pain and sciatica and has been greatly supportive in helping me resolve chronic neck pain. I first started visiting Manny to try Rolfing- I am on my 9th session and I genuinely feel my body’s relationship to standing and navigating movement has changed. Each time I’ve come in, I feel I am more connected to the ground and not fighting against gravity. Manny really takes the time to educate me as well.
I also have now been seeing Chris for a month. She makes me feel heard and cared for. Her presence is comforting and my nervous system relaxes every time I come in. I will fall asleep within minutes each time I receive acupuncture from her, and I walk out with significantly decreased pain and discomfort. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled.

I had the unfortunate experience of injuring my back while preparing to move out of state last summer. I was in absolute agony and had never used acupuncture before, but Patrick was highly recommended by a friend and I needed some help desperately. Patrick was so caring and kind, and I was in complete amazement at how much the treatment helped reduce my pain following my treatment. I was able to see Patrick a few more times before moving, and would ABSOLUTELY recommend him to anyone looking for acupuncture treatment. I will 100% be booking with him if I'm back in town to visit!
