Our 103 year old home presented Chris Curry with a challenge. He met it. He completely refinished about 1000 square feet of old hardwood flooring, with tons of nooks and crannies. Really fine detail work, very thorough, and a fair price. I highly recommend Curry flooring.

I have used J &C Heating and Cooling a few times now, and they are all I will ever use. In the past I used other companies and I was told my unit was old and it was probably time to replace. I was given a ridiculously high quote. Out of desperation I listened to a friends recommendation and called J&C. Chad and his crew came out that same day and got to work. He not only fixed my unit in less than an hour, he gave me a bill that seemed too good to be true. Chad and his crew have came a few times since for little issues, and I still have the unit I was told to replace years ago. Don't hesitate to use them. They are honest, trustworthy, quick and extremely reasonably priced. You won't find a better place for heating and cooling anywhere! 10/10 recommend!!!
They came through with enough coaxing. I support them, even though it took them sometime to get my system working correctly that they installed. Once they realized there actually was an issue the refunded me some dollars to help. I appreciate them.

Clay was wonderful to work with and very affordable compared to plumbing companies we’ve used before. We had a pretty bad leak from our house filter. He replaced our with professional housing, fixed it to the wall, and replaced the pipes around it. Very very happy with the results! It’s much better than the flimsy set up we had before, and no leaking issues at all. Clay was professional, fast, and so friendly with our resident pup! Highly recommend his services!

Woke up with water in my floor during a bad storm, found a leak my less than 6 year old roof. Called Cover Care Roofing, Anatolie came out the same day for a quote and inspection. Found areas that my previous installer had either missed, or improperly installed.
He quoted me a fair price, scheduled the repair quickly and was on time for the day of the install. He stayed on budget, finished the work within the day, and went the extra mile to make sure the job was functional and attractive.

Had been out of town for about 6 weeks. When I got home 1 of my toilets was leaking every time it was flushed. Called All About Plumbing and they came out within the hour located the problem and resolved it in a very timely and mannerly time.

I rarely get pedicures, but I got to get one today. I stopped by Bali on my lunch break, and I am so glad I did. I loved the atmosphere. It was peaceful and the stylists were so kind. Yvonne did my cat eye gel pedicure, and she was so wonderful. My husband loves them too. I will be back!!

I had such a fun - and informative - appointment with Wendy! I reached out to Wendy because she teaches makeup lessons, so I booked an appointment. This was exactly what I needed - not only did she teach me how to apply the makeup, she helped me design a look specific to my needs, and introduced me to a host of products that she uses on clients regularly, saving me tons of money, time, and frustration. She created a guide that detailed all of the steps so I could reference at a later time, and incorporated products I already own into my routine. Then, following the appointment, she texted me links to all of the products. I have always been daunted by the world of makeup and can't stand sorting through droves of online tutorials. Wendy made this so incredibly easy and I loved the way the makeup turned out. Plus she was a fun person to spend an afternoon with. Absolutely loved my massage at The Salt Spa of Asheville! My masseuse was Michael and he did an excellent job making the experience relaxing. Loved the himalayan salt aspect of the massage and how well I slept that night. Would absolutely recommend! Really unique ambiance that made the massage very enjoyable!
I completed the acne clinic with Aranka over the last 3 months, and it was well worth it! My skin was very clogged with deep acne and very textured. At the first appointment, we went through my current skin care products in detail, as well as diet/lifestyle things that could cause breakouts. At every facial, she did careful extractions and a chemical peel. Aranka made sure to ask how the peel felt to ensure it was not too intense. I have very sensitive skin, so I really appreciated her thoughtfulness!
In terms of cost, I think it is well worth the investment. You do have to purchase the skincare she recommends, Face Reality, but the price is comparable, if not cheaper, than other high-end skincare brands. I have come to love this brand! My skin has never felt smoother or more hydrated. Because you are getting facials much more regularly than normal, they are discounted from the original acne facial price.

First visit to Forest Dermatology. My husband had Moh’s clinic appointment this morning at 730a. The minute we stepped off elevator we were greeted by Bonnie, let me tell you she is the dream “employee” she is so witty and efficient she processed every patient in the same manner. What a jewel. My husband was called back in minutes. Nurse Josh was a superstar, gentle and kind. Very informative. You wouldn’t think it could get any better. In Walks, Dr. D’Souza, incredible bed side manner he too was witty and explained in detail the procedure during the entire visit. No wonder he is one of the top NC doctors four years in a row. Just incredible! Thanks to the entire staff for their professionalism, kindness and excellence they all deserve a Humanitarian award! Had been out of town for about 6 weeks. When I got home 1 of my toilets was leaking every time it was flushed. Called All About Plumbing and they came out within the hour located the problem and resolved it in a very timely and mannerly time.
Clay was wonderful to work with and very affordable compared to plumbing companies we’ve used before. We had a pretty bad leak from our house filter. He replaced our with professional housing, fixed it to the wall, and replaced the pipes around it. Very very happy with the results! It’s much better than the flimsy set up we had before, and no leaking issues at all. Clay was professional, fast, and so friendly with our resident pup! Highly recommend his services!
Today the outside temperature was 95 and when we got home, our interior temperature was 83. Our AC wasn't cooling and we called several local contractors and they were all 2-3 weeks out. The fine folks at MB Haynes came out within one hour and within 20 minutes Paul had us cooling again. These guys have the BEST service. Thank you MB Haynes and Paul for getting us cooler faster. We truly appreciate it as we had been at the Hope Cancer Center all day with a loved one and coming home to this was miserable, until MB Haynes made things much better.

AC Williams installed four replacement radiators in our 100 year old house.
They were very efficient and very pleasant to work with. It's a family business and the son and daughter were helping on installation day.
I have heard they are one of only two companies in this area who install radiators and service boilers, so the wait was pretty long. We were booked for a couple months before they could get to us.
All in, it cost around $8,000 to have some of our busted old cast iron baseboard radiators removed and four standing replacement radiators installed in two rooms. The workers were very efficient, removing the baseboard radiators one day and installing the replacement radiators in about another half day, a month or so later. The system has been working great for the past month and a half since they finished the job. They really got to us in the nick of time!
I only wish they could have cleaned up the radiators before installing them, as the rust and flaking paint makes a mess and we're not really sure what to do about it.
Will and Mack showed up after I fixed it. I forgot to call them. But they were sweet and understanding. I’ll call them again!

We hired Crown Electric for a massive undertaking at our 100 year old home: completely removing the original knob and tube wiring, relocating the electrical panel, and upgrading our service to 200amp. From day one, the experience was absolutely top-notch.
Donna in the main office is an absolute gem. She consistently went out of her way to coordinate with our schedule and keep the project running seamlessly. Jared, the owner, personally reviewed the entire scope of work and provided excellent, honest advice to make sure we were approaching the project the right way.
The on-site crew, Josh and Adam, spent nearly three weeks meticulously working on our house, and we cannot praise them enough. Rewiring a historic home is a notoriously invasive process, but it was honestly like magic watching these guys work. They managed to run all the new wire and pull out the old with as minimal destruction to our walls and ceilings as possible. Beyond their technical skill, they took great care of our home. They were highly communicative, completely fair, and exceptionally mindful of the fact that we were still living in the house during the project.

My wife and I returned from vacation to find our Sub-Zero refrigerator warm, lights on and no functioning buttons. A Duke power outage had occurred during our trip and when the power came back on it fried the unit's control board. I called WNC Repairs and was able to have a technician on premises same day! The technician had a replacement control board, it was installed and I was advised of a few other maintenance items such as cleaning the bottom tray. Exceptional experience with AVOX. We had floors and stairs refinished and they came out great. Travis said there would be little dust with his machines and he was right, very little dust. The water based finish avoided all those toxic smells. A few repairs were made as well. We are very satisfied with the work and appreciated no sub contractors.
I was referred to PBI for our residential windows to be replaced. I wasn't aware that they did that kind of work. I learned about their preferred line of windows from Sun and stopped in. We met Brian Hutchinson who came out to our house, a long way out to our house. He put a great quote together that was surprising and we went with Brian. Unfortunately, this was during the supply chain problems but Brian kept us informed and we actually got delivery at an ideal time (January followed by the installation week in February with 70+ degeree weather) and in went the windows. We love them! Great looking, great functionality and Brian was great to work with! We highly recommend PBI and Brian! If you're considering replacing windows in your home, do not overlook PBI. Great product, great price and great service from Brian!
Gosh, where do I even begin with these guys? There are simply too many good things to say.
When we started our remodel/renovation journey, we knew we wanted to go with a company who could accomplish our goals while maintaining the unique feel of our historic home. We met with a few different companies, and while all were great, Lobo was exceptional. In a simple explanation, we went off of “vibes” when it came time to make our decision.
The first person we met with was Thomas Wolfe, who clearly shared an appreciation for older houses. Within minutes of meeting him, we had the confidence we’d been searching for in order to commit to our ideas.
Shortly after the process began, we were introduced to Laurin, who would be our main point of contact and guide through our project. Although Thomas had helped us feel confident enough to commit, Laurin really made us feel solidified in knowing that we’d made the right choice going with Lobo. She understood the asks and shared the vision from the very first meeting. She was able to just completely maximize the space that we had to make so much sense for our family’s needs. I am still blown away by what she was able to do with our plans and am so grateful for her expertise and eye for beauty.
Once demo started and construction was underway, we were introduced to Ric and his team. Ric has been nothing short of amazing. He is very professional, responsive, and clearly so knowledgeable about all things reno. He was our other main point of contact throughout the process and really made us feel like our home was in the best hands. I had full confidence that everyone I met working on our house knew what they were doing, loved what they were doing, and shared our vision. Our house, despite being a work site, always felt looked after and cared for.
Their estimation process with Chuck was extremely precise. We knew exactly what our budget was going to be and even came about 10% under that in the final count, as well as exactly when our completion date was. They were able to wrap up about a week early to help our son get into school on time! From day one we got progress reports matching our timelines and budget with the work as it was completed so we could plan our move in accordingly.
After the project was completed, Lobo was very present and checked in with us regularly to see how we were settling back in and enjoying the remodel. They have even helped us with a few things after Hurricane Helene that they did not have to help with. They truly feel like more of a family than a company and I would recommend them to anyone over and over again. We hope to use them again in the future for whatever projects we set our sights on.

They built me an incredible deck close to 450 square feet along with a beautiful retaining wall, and the quality of their work truly speaks for itself. Every detail was done with care, and the finished result is even better than I imagined. It honestly made me so happy seeing it all come together.

They helped build my dream shop! RLC did all of the foundation and concrete work. This included digging/pouring footers for the block foundation as well as pouring the slab the building sits on and about 100ft concrete driveway. Another company actually put the building up, but RLC did all the foundation and driveway work.
Anjelica was so patient and helpful. She took an incredibly long list of tasks and house parts and helped us find colors and combinations and made it look easy. Jocelyn was the perfect front man; she made us feel welcome and got the show on the road quickly. She got our site evaluation organized and we’ll close on the property tomorrow. We have really enjoyed working with both these women and look forward to working with the rest of your crew!
Jim got us out of a tough situation. He is incredibly honest and wants the best solution for your property. He has incredibly fair and competitive pricing. I can’t thank Tuff Walls enough. We run an Airbnb, and we were left in a really stressful situation after a previous contractor disappeared, leaving a half-finished retaining wall with no rebar and a tiny footer. We only had about 2.5 days before our next guest arrived, and we were honestly panicking.
Tuff Walls came through for us in every possible way. They showed up exactly when they said they would, knocked down the half-finished wall, and built a brand-new, solid, and way nicer wall in an unbelievable amount of time. Tom is a high-level craftsman and artist in the landscape. He's a rough character, and can be hard to pin down, but when he gets into a project he proceeds with mastery, patience and artistic talent that is very hard to find. I had Heartwood Tree Care remove 4 palm trees in my pool area. They were very adamant about making sure nothing go into the pool and covered the entire pool. The work was absolutely impeccable — everything looks clean, balanced, and professionally done.
We also had a tree overhanging the edge of the driveway that posed a real risk of falling onto the garage. Chad handled it with incredible skill and care, bringing it down safely with zero damage. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.

I’ve been seeing Michelle for Dysport for a few years now and I finally took the dive into a little lip filler. I’m so happy with the results, they’re so natural and balance my face more which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve never had any filler and of course, she made me feel so comfortable before and during the procedure. I’m incredibly grateful for the care my cat received at SAVES.
I brought my cat from another emergency practice in Tennessee that was closing overnight, as I felt he needed monitoring at a 24-hour hospital due to a urinary obstruction. I called ahead, confirmed that his records had been sent, and when I arrived, they were already expecting us.
I spoke with the doctor right away (Dr. Wedig), who clearly explained the treatment options and the need for hospitalization and extended catheter placement. I was extremely distraught at the time, and the entire team met that energy with compassion and calm reassurance. I also shared my concern about avoiding opioid sedatives due to a suspected link to the obstruction, and they were very open and respectful of that discussion.
During his two-and-a-half-day hospitalization, I received daily calls from the doctor. When I called for updates myself, I was always able to get timely and helpful information. My cat was released promptly once appropriate, and I’m deeply thankful for the care that helped him recover.
I hope I won’t need emergency care again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to return here.

My dog is more precious to me than almost anyone, which made years of groomers sending her home stressed and unsettled heartbreaking.I had started to wonder if a happy grooming experience was even possible.
As it turns out, it is.
My dog leaves every single appointment feeling like herself. Her groomer, Addie, treats her with the kind of love and attentiveness you'd show your own pet — learning her fears and what makes her feel safe. I've walked in mid-appointment to find Addie holding her or kissing her. That says it all.
The trust our family has built with Something to Bark About over the years is rare. They are skilled and thorough in the groom, but also patient and kind and trustworthy. For anyone whose dogs are genuine members of the family, I can't recommend Something to Bark About enough.
We love Touch of Grace. One of my dogs is not easy for nail maintenance and they are so patient with her. My other girl requires full space service and they always listen and deliver exactly what we ask for. Our girl had had extreme reactions to chemicals in the past that have sent her to the ER. I appreciate that this place always uses gentle organic products that are good for her.

The staff at Leash does a great job with both of my dogs (I have a long haired Dalmatian and a small long haired Dachshund chihuahua). Both come home super happy after dropping them off. It’s a noticeable difference from our experience with other groomers… We live about 30 min away and it’s definitely worth the drive for us to take them to Leash. Would recommend to others as your go-to day care and dog groomer
Mary Lynne owns Dog Gone Gorgeous. I have used her good services for 7 years steadily ever since my dog was a little guy. She is very good with dogs and enjoys them. Mary Lynne is very thorough, conscientious and reliable.

Beautiful facility and amazing knowledgeable instructors. I started Pilates at Asheville Pilates over fours years ago after breaking my humerus. Best decision I've ever made. I have full mobility back in my arm and a year later they helped with my recovery after a hip replacement. Im so much stronger than before. Ive been going twice per week and plan to continue for the rest of my days. It really has changed my life.

This is THE PLACE for Pilates: Erin is an expert, knowledgeable teacher and practitioner of the true method of Pilates. She has trained intensively and keeps her knowledge updated. I came to the studio, having not dine Pilates in a long while. I have one on one classes with Nancy, who is fabulous, she is very patient and helps me with every movement. I have enjoyed every session with her. The studio is small but very nice. All the ladies are excellent instructors. Weel work taking my one on one classes.

I have never done Pilates before coming to this studio and I started with the private in person sessions. Both Amy and April are amazing teachers. I love the welcoming atmosphere and the studio is nice. They have all the equipment you could need. I like that they are taking Covid seriously and offer virtual sessions and require masks for in person sessions. The online booking is convenient for me. There is street parking available or you can park at two designated free spots next to Vortex. I highly recommend them!

I’d highly recommend Wild Hawk! On my initial consultation, Sydney took the time to set up a plan that fit within my budget and needs. I came in due to knee pain caused by patellar tendinitis. I love running, but sadly found myself unable to run more than a mile or two without having to stop for need pain. Over the course of my treatment, I’ve been able to run 5 miles with no breaks and no pain!
I have been a patient of Physio for several problems. Each PT technician on all visits was professional, knowledgable and compassionate. The front office team has always treated me like family. They are and will always be my go to for taking care of body issues. Be ready to be impressed when you use them.

As a Division I baseball pitcher, I came to Asheville PT after having surgery to repair a torn hip labrum and impingement. Every therapist I worked with was extremely hands-on, making sure each exercise was done correctly and tailored to my progression as I returned to the mound. The energy and encouragement they brought to every session kept me motivated and confident throughout the process. I cannot recommend James and Tara highly enough. As someone exploring acupuncture and cupping for the very first time, I was a little nervous and skeptical I would be able to find relief. However, I felt truly heard when sharing my history, which made a huge difference before even beginning treatment. James is exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate.
I’ve gone for seven sessions now, and their care has helped me take a much more holistic approach to my health. In combination with the treatments, I’ve been able to focus on lowering my stress levels and becoming more mindful of my body mechanics, like improving my posture and being careful with how I lift weight.
While my chronic pain isn't 100% gone, both the overall intensity and frequency of my extreme pain have reduced significantly over time. Finding this level of relief and wellness has been absolutely incredible.
I believe Chad is a wizard. Clearly, he has trained to next level because his skill astounds me. I went in pain and not standing fully upright… described how I got the injury and the specific spots of pain and he quickly determines the course of action walks you through it, and I left considerably improved and pain level incredibly reduced. This is the second injury that I’ve gone to them and am just thrilled with the results.

I'm so grateful I found Jaime when I decided I wanted to do acupuncture again - I had done it when I was sick as a child and it helped immensely so with a few health things going on in adulthood, and a nervous system that is just a stressed out void, the idea of acupuncture AND reiki was really appealing. I have chronic tinnitus and this is the best my ears have been in years. I also don't know how to explain the reiki - but I feel lighter emotionally and mentally - more in tune with me versus all the energy of others. Can't recommend Jaime enough, she's wonderful at what she does and also one of the sweetest people.
PS: Don't forget to buy the candles she makes! I love them and they smell incredible and burn for a long time.

One thing that felt unique to this visit was that you took quite a bit of time to hear me out and have a general understanding of who I was and what my needs were.
