“I’ve been going to American Nails AVL to have my manicures and pedicures done every couple of weeks for about 2 months now. After trying several other salons in the area, I was having trouble finding one that was a good fit for me. Most of the ones I’ve tried in the past ended up being messy/unclean, the staff were either rude or not personable and often times it was hard to carry on a casual conversation with the nail techs due to a language barrier.

A good friend of mine recommended that I give American Nails AVL a try. She spoke highly of Thang and the other staff. I have to say that I am so glad I gave them a try! I love this salon so much! The staff are always very friendly and they greet each customer who walks in with love. They make you feel like you are family. The salon is very clean and organized. They offer a wide variety of services and the quality of the products they use is great. Their prices are very fair and comparable to other salons I’ve been to in the area. It’s also very easy to communicate with the staff, as the language barrier isn’t present like it is in most of the other salons I’ve been to.

This is definitely my favorite nail salon! I’ve had work done by Thang, Javi, Kelcie and Chevelle and so far, I’ve been very pleased with everything they have done! I always have them do gel polish on my natural nails. It lasts a full 2 weeks despite the fact that I play guitar a few times per week and I’m also fairly active outdoors. I’ve attached pictures of my most recent manicure. I highly recommend that you give this salon a try!

I got a gel Classic pedicure and an acrylic full set, and they spent 2 hours between the two ensuring that I had the best experience. My nails also look incredible! I have had my nails done by multiple artists here, but artist Peter (not to be confused with owner Peter) and artist Maria have been my favorites. Peter is very skilled at biogel nails and gave me the most natural looking set of nails I could ask for. Maria does beautiful work but also is very warm and engaging.
