I was reluctant to get treatment at Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture partly because I was concerned about the very different religious perspectives of proponents of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I am not comfortable with the images and figures that identify the very old large building.
As an evangelical Christian, I was even uncomfortable with the thought that a form of mind-emptying meditation (that I don’t like) would be encouraged.
However, I was so pleasantly surprised! The warmth and courtesy and patient-centered concern of the staff was apparent immediately.
