“I’ve been getting tattooed exclusively by Kris Roberts for over 9 years now. He is attentive, responsive, kind, easy to talk to, and as gentle as one can be while doing bold lines and color. He’ll take direction so well and puts his own spin on all of the inspiration references I send him that make my tattoos unique and eye-catching. I’m not one for wanting a ton of attention but when it’s warm out, and I’m not wearing long sleeves, everyone, and I mean *everyone*, compliments my tattoos and many times asks who did them! Every now and then people know exactly who did them because Kris’s work is so distinct. I waited until I was 28 to start getting tattooed so I was absolutely sure the style I liked was the style I wanted on my body forever. What Kris does is truly art and somehow he only keeps getting better! I love coming into Serpent and the Rainbow, even before their current name and location, because when I’m there I feel welcome like an equal and it’s not a boy’s club kind of feel. It’s important for me to be in an environment like that while I’m having something so permanent done to my body! If I have a bad experience, I’ll have a tattoo to remind me of that. Thanks to Kris there’s only good memories attached to all of my tattoos! Can’t recommend him enough!“
