Mountain Valley Vet Hospital is a highly recommended veterinary service known for its friendly and homey atmosphere. The staff are caring and professional, providing personalized care and taking the time to fully explain medical issues. The veterinarian, Dr. McCorkle, is skilled and knowledgeable, able to effectively diagnose and treat animal health problems. He is very gentle and caring, discussing treatment plans clearly and avoiding unnecessary tests. The hospital stands out from other vet clinics by prioritizing customer care over profit, offering more affordable options for medication. For example, a dog with car sickness received a successful treatment plan, and a senior dog underwent dental surgery, recovering well with a healthier mouth. Many customers, including those who have switched from other services, consider Mountain Valley Vet Hospital to be a trustworthy and reliable choice for their pets' health care needs. The staff are kind, helpful, and dedicated to the well-being of every animal.
Thank you to Dr McCorkle for the wonderful care for our dog Hank! He spent 24 hrs in an animal hospital and was not much improved. We brought him home, took him to Mountain Valley Animal Hospital to Dr. McCorkle and he had him feeling better the next day.
These folks are great! I have been paying WAY too much for veterinary services prior to visiting Dr. McCorkle. It’s nice to see a common sense approach to animal health without spending a fortune. I will never go anywhere else!
DR McCorkle recently did dental surgery on my senior dog. The dog recovered nicely with a healthier mouth. Dr. Mc Corkle is treating my cat for blood in her urine, methodically and one step at a time, to find the real cause. I have taken her to two other clinics with no results. He discusses his treatment plans and all involved with them. He is very gentle and caring with my cat. He does not do unnecessary tests. The staff are kind and professional. I would recommend Dr McCorkle and Mountain Valley Vet Hospital to anyone wanting quality care for their pets.
