Highly recommend!I had an issue with a flickering light fixture and called another electrician who told me I needed to buy another light fixture. He charged me $175.00 for a service call. I called SouthernAir and Eric R. came out and told me I needed to get a light kit for the LED light. The LED light I had had a microchip that probably shorted out during one of our many power surges. Eric asked to see my electric panel and he showed me that it had significant corrosion. This made sense because I had water damage on that outside wall several years ago due to Hurricane Ida. He suggested I replace the panel, which was around 50 years old. The larger panel didn’t fit so Eric was supposed to come out to fix the issue. The day he was supposed to arrive I got a phone call telling me he had called in sick, so they sent someone else out. His name was Dave I. and he was amazing too. He made sure everything was okay and answered all of my questions. Very honest, high-quality work and great guys.
New Orleans Mechanical Pros really came through for my family, i was out of town and my carrier ac unit crashed on me, i called these guys because of my emergency, within 4 hours they was there to assist my wife with getting the unit fix and they came through, i highly recommend this ac company!! We had an issue with our sewer line after a recent plumbing job. Barry came out, quickly figured out the problem, and set up a plan to fix it. Martinez Brothers Plumbing once again delivered top-notch service. They installed our field line several years back, and we’ve called them for regular septic tank pump outs since then. During the last pump out, the crew missed sealing the hatch properly. After I called, Nathaniel and Barry returned, made sure the hatch was sealed right, and even added a stainless steel ring to make future access much easier. Everyone has always been friendly and focused on doing quality work. It’s always a pleasure to work with this team in New Orleans.

We have been working with Labadot construction company for a few years now, they are one of the best companies that we work with. There projects are always ran in a calm well scheduled manner. There communication is always consistent. When they ask you to schedule to arrive they are prepared for you and have done there part in having the project ready and other traids out of your way so that we can properly do the work that we were hired to do. This is not the norm in today’s construction industry and speaks to there professionalism. Ryan and team are a pleasure to work with and they genuinely care about there clients results down to every very specific detail, the little things are not glanced over and are very important to the team. They also pay there bills in a very reliable and timely fashion which is another testimony to there professionalism. Today was my first expierence with Shawn at Beauty Lounge. Based on my expierence today, they have my business moving forward. Shawn was professional and warm. I showed him inspo pics and he guided me in the right direction, down to tweaking the best color that complimented my skin tone. I usually have alot of anxiety in situations like this, but that was gone as soon as I sat down in the chair. Went into revival grooming yesterday and I already know I definitely will be back. The service was great, the prices were reasonable, and the guys were super nice and knew what they were doing. It’s a really nice salon. Very clean and fresh environment. I really liked my service. The only thing is it’s a little expensive and my manicurist was a bit rough with the nail file when removing previous gel, so now the skin around my cuticles hurts and has a few cuts. Also, when I got home, the tips of the polish looked a little patchy and odd but that’s probably because I looked too close. I recommend this place for elaborate designs and services. Simple manicures? Go somewhere else.

I had an Appt at a different salon closer to home but left there because it was really dirty. City Nails was willing to get me in today for a gel mani and gel pedi. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet. Deuce today was excellent, and I’ll definitely ask for her in the future.

Wow!! I came across this spa because of the high reviews, and it did not disappoint. The aesthetician Danielle really took time to explain the different facials, what each did and did an assessment of my skin to recommend what I needed. This facial exceeded my expectations. Not only did I get facial which included a cleansing, and exfoliation, a hydrating mask, an extensive facial massage; but it also included an extensive massage of my chest area, shoulders, arms, and scalp. It was a very comprehensive facial, and I left extremely relaxed and satisfied results. . I’m one who doesn’t spend much on myself, but I think this is something I will be doing regularly. The price was also phenomenal, so I left feeling guilt free.

I thoroughly enjoyed my deep tissue back massage. Dominika came to me and insisted on doing all the setup work herself even though I offered to help. She couldn’t have been more kind and knowledgeable with all the questions I asked (and I had plenty! Lol).

I had a wonderful experience at the Windsor Court Spa during my birthday staycation. The spa itself is beautiful, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed, and the massage rooms were incredibly comfortable—the heated massage table was the perfect touch and made it easy to fully relax.
I also wanted to recognize my massage therapist, Alex. He was exceptionally professional, attentive, and made my comfort a priority throughout the entire session. He struck the perfect balance between being personable and maintaining a high level of professionalism, which immediately put me at ease. It was clear that he is very well trained and genuinely cares about providing an excellent experience for his clients. The quality of care and rapport he created were impressive, and I have no doubt he’ll have a very successful career.

I love going to her. Always a comfortable experience! Every time I go to her I fall asleep and wake up to beautiful lashes. I can tell she pays attention to your eye shape because my lashes look like they belong to my face. She always asks questions before, during, and after to make sure you’re okay and comfortable. Although I only recently started getting my lashes done by her, I would recommend her to all my friends.

Dee is organized, professional, and quick to respond to emails and questions, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. We were in town for a 40th birthday party and decided at the last minute we wanted to get our makeup done. Glynn Renee responded super quickly and arrived to our hotel right on time. She looked at the ideas we had and modified them to our face shapes and personalities. She was extremely efficient and the end result was stunning!
Andrea did the makeup for my wedding and it was fabulous! She made us all look like the best version of ourselves, without looking overly made-up. And I don't know how she did it, but my makeup looked fresh from 10am until I went to bed well after midnight. Not a single smudge, even after all that dancing! She's really talented, and I'm so glad I trusted her for my wedding day.

The space is clean and staff is friendly. I’ve been twice - once after losing my nose ring and once after losing my belly ring - and each time I was greeted warmly and had all my needs taken care of without an appointment. Getting new jewelry only took a few minutes, but jewelry is kind of pricey. Today, I got a silver belly ring ($40) and had the color customized ($10). If you’re driving, be prepared to pay for parking.
Rafaela is hands down the best. Her vibes are great, ive never felt so comfortable in someone's chair. Her art is stunning!

A close friend has gotten several tattoos from Jeremy Justice (working on 3/4 sleeves) and he agreed to do a quick flash tattoo for me and one for my wife on a recent visit. We both got fleur de lis tattoos which came out much better than I expected. Mine is purple, green and gold (mardi Gras colors) and is very well shaded. The shading makes the green portions look like they have real depth and roundness, and the gold band holding the petals together is a nice pop to the otherwise darker-toned tattoo. Very clean facility, talented artist and reasonably priced. (My wife's fleur de lis was black and gray but still had some really nice shading so that the petals look like they have depth.) Would love to get more tattoos here.

I just had the most AMAZING experience at Artist Lodge getting a tattoo done by Amber. She was professional, nice, funny, and is so very talented. She put so much care into my personalized piece and designed a tattoo that felt very true to who I am and what I wanted. This was my first tattoo, she worked quickly, and the lines and shading were sooooo neat. I’m so in love with this piece and will be back for more!The tattoo parlor itself is very clean, and has a very laidback and comfortable feel. Check them out!

We had an issue with our sewer line after a recent plumbing job. Barry came out, quickly figured out the problem, and set up a plan to fix it. Martinez Brothers Plumbing once again delivered top-notch service. They installed our field line several years back, and we’ve called them for regular septic tank pump outs since then. During the last pump out, the crew missed sealing the hatch properly. After I called, Nathaniel and Barry returned, made sure the hatch was sealed right, and even added a stainless steel ring to make future access much easier. Everyone has always been friendly and focused on doing quality work. It’s always a pleasure to work with this team in New Orleans.
I reached out to Magee and Sons Master Plumbing and Heating after my home warranty company sent out another company. I had a clog in the main line. I spoke to ****** one evening and he was at my house the next day earlier than the projected time. He was thorough and professional and would not leave until my problem was resolved as promised. He called me the next day to make sure that I did not have any issues and guaranteed his work for thirty days. If you need an honest plumber who will make sure that the job is done correctly, I highly recommend that you contact them. I am very satisfied!

I was stopped at a red light in Mid City two days ago and right as the light turned green, a man got out of his Frischhertz Electric marked truck and stopped traffic to help an older female amputee get across the street. It was pouring rain and she had been waiting in her wheelchair for a while for a clear intersection. I took down a plate number in case he could get back some of the good karma he put out but I’m just glad to see someone happily take a minute of their day to help someone in need.

My wife and I were visiting on business from San Diego and we had rented an Airbnb to host a party. Unfortunately the wine was flowing while also being spilled including on the carpet some of the upholstery as well as some spots on the drapes. We were stressed because we had to check out two days after the party and Airbnb cleaning fees can be outrageous. COIT was able to fit us in the day after the party. They got the stains and soil out of the carpet and you would have no idea the upholstery or drapes were spilled on. We’re so grateful for how fast and easy they made everything. I first called and spoke with Nicole. She was extremely helpful and listened with care as I was inquiring about a rug repair. Today I brought my rug in and was so grateful to Frank and Mike for getting it out of my car, it weighs as much as I do and they were very nice and smiling as they brought it in to be assessed. The rug is about 100 years old and has been a part of our family which includes grandkids and dogs. Frank and Maxine talked about each of the problem areas and explained how the rug can be repaired. They provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed choice. All the while, it was an extremely welcoming and friendly place to be and I loved talking with each of them who individually took the time to help me. I am so grateful to know that my family rug will have a little bit of their good energy as part of its history. Frank, Mike, Maxine and Nicole are amazing!

Excellent cleaning service! Was on the expensive side but the lady (I don't remember her name) was extremely thorough. It was a recently renovated home so not very dirty. Just superficial cleaning. But she spent 8 hours there. 1600 sq feet. And gave me suggestions on keeping the bathroom fixtures and shower door clean and well kept.

I don't generally write positive reviews about people and companies that do work for me. Mostly negative ones when they do poor work. However, Audubon did a wonderful job painting our house. It took a while, mostly because of weather issues and because they found a lot more rotted wood than both they and I expected and that had to be addressed. Their price was fair. And when they had to adjust the price to take care of the additional rotted wood, the adjustment was fair also. Their carpenter was excellent and very friendly, as were many of their painters. And Audubon's owner was knowledgeable, easy to work with, out inspecting his people's work almost every day, and just a very nice man. I would definitely use Audubon again, and will when the time comes.
I needed a double-wall oven installed that included a cabinet modification so that the oven would fit in our current kitchen cabinet. The contractor did an excellent job in removing the old oven and installing the new one. It was impossible to find a contractor to install the oven and modify the cabinet; Nolan did both with excellent communication. I will use this company for my future re-modeling needs.

We have been working with Labadot construction company for a few years now, they are one of the best companies that we work with. There projects are always ran in a calm well scheduled manner. There communication is always consistent. When they ask you to schedule to arrive they are prepared for you and have done there part in having the project ready and other traids out of your way so that we can properly do the work that we were hired to do. This is not the norm in today’s construction industry and speaks to there professionalism. Ryan and team are a pleasure to work with and they genuinely care about there clients results down to every very specific detail, the little things are not glanced over and are very important to the team. We have been using Bug Smashers for pest/termite control for over 12years now. The first time we used them is when we moved into our new house uptown and noticed termite damage and an active infestation. Mr. August and his crew came out and fixed the issue. I am very sad to announce that my brother Keith Victor Kron, founder and long time CEO of Natures Greenhouse, has passed away He was apparently home when his house was engulfed in flames. We are awaiting DNA confirmation but the family has every expectation that this will only confirm what we already know as we have not heard from him since the night before the fire and he has not contacted anyone about his pets or extensive garden. Several of us had been in close contact and he was in good spirit. I personally was working together with him on a couple of projects as were several others. As you may know Keith had a very large number of plants that were a part of his business. If you would like one as a remembrance of him please let us know as we are making arrangements to donate the bulk of them to a 9th Ward non-profit. We will accept donations if you are so moved. 2 of his dogs survived and if you know them and want to house them that would be great as at this time we are unable to keep them ourselves. While Keith did not use Facebook I created this page as a memorial page so people can write about him or contact me for information regarding a memorial service.

Wind storm collapsed a palm tree on electrical lines for our property. Robert at Absolute landscaping had his ccrew in the area and was there in less than 30 minutes and safely removed the palm tree from the electrical wires and completely cleaned up all debris. Just outstanding service!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Camenzuli and his entire staff. For someone with severe dental anxiety, this place is a dream come true. From the moment the receptionist answered the phone, I immediately could sense the genuine care. Every staff member was authentic in their compassion and equally knowledgeable and professional. The facility is easily accessible and very nice, adding to the comfort. I came in for an emergency appointment and they quickly put at easy. They were flexible and incredibly conscientious, going above and beyond. I will never go to another dentist again.
I hadn’t been to the dentist in 5 years. I know…not good. I was so nervous that I had done long term damage to my teeth. The staff at CBD Dental saw my anxiety, my nerves, and did everything they could to make me feel as comfortable as I could. They offered me the nitrous oxide for my cleaning (thank goodness) to help me stay calm. Amanda cleaned my teeth and was incredible. She asked if I was okay many many times and distracted me by talking (while cleaning my nasty teeth). She was a rockstar.
Dr. Schmidt could also tell I was super nervous and reassured me that the cavities he found, were fixable and made a plan to get my teeth back on track. If you need a dentist and are in the New Orleans area, CBD Dental is the way to go. They are so so incredible and my teeth look a feel great.
I just moved to town a few months ago and had my first cleaning recently! Lauren was my RDH and she was super nice! And Dr. Rouhana was really great too! The dentist can be a little daunting, but they made it easy!

Dr. Perenack did my browlift/lower bleph/CO2 Laser Resurfacing and facetite with lipo 5 years ago and I still get compliments on how natural and youthful I look today! I cannot say enough about his ability to see a face through his artistic eye and the precision and care he implements through his hands like he is creating a masterpiece with every patient he walks into the OR with! My most favorite thing is how natural the results are! His key is to restore not change. FIVE STARS! I Woke Up One Morning And Randomly Was Unable to Stand or Walk Without Being in Excruciating Pain. I Seriously Considered the ER, But Based on Google Reviews Decided to Give Dr. Tony a Try. He Was Able to See Me Same Day And Instantly Resolved My Issue. Somehow I Rotated My Hip Out Of Place, But After A Few Quick Adjustments, Dr.Tony Was Able to Relieve My Pain And Restore MMe Back to My Old Self. I Can't Thank Him And His Staff Enough For Helping Me When I Was in Desperate Need.

I’m traveling through New Orleans. Had a crazy onset of jaw pain out of nowhere. I have a flight tmrw. I called his office and asked if he could help me with my jaw. He stayed a little later just so he could see me and help me out. He was very kind and knowledgeable. Passionate about his work and truly cares about the people that come through his office.

Dr. Hardy and her staff are a blessing. I was in a car wreck and was in pain for over a year. I went to other facilities and no results. After 3 visits with her I begin to find relief and actually felt better than I did before the accident. She was very attentive, professional and courteous. Her and her staff did an awesome job in 12 weeks. I am 52 and she made me feel 22. I am really grateful for her services. I felt like I was at million dollar facility receiving presidential care. I thought I would not be able to work again. But thanks to her excellence I am better then new. If you need attention to detail and really want to feel better you will not find a better facility. I am a truck driver I travel all over the U.S.A but if the need arise again she is the go to.

Cash is a small miniature schnauzer. He can be nervous when he goes to the vet. This time he was very relaxed, even when he was given his medication/ shots. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The Veterinarian was very gentle and informative. I highly recommend the practice.

We have two French Bulldogs which always comes with extra complications/vet bills and Dr. Goldman and Dr. Guichard are both incredibly helpful with brachycephalic dog breed specific issues. They really go the extra mile to make sure your pet is taken care of and they are also aware of avoiding extra costs.
We have done our routine care with them as well as two surgeries, can’t recommend them enough.

I'm the person that always wants to stick with one doctor (for myself as well). However, at CCVH, that is not the case. I feel confident and comfortable with each doctor. They all take the time to get to know the patient and their human and it is evident that they care. I never feel rushed and they always take the time to answer any and all questions. Whenever asked about a vet, I jump to recommend CCVH!
I’ve had the absolute privilege of my dogs being under the care of Dr. Nicole Larroque at DeSoto Park Veterinary Clinic, and I can say with full confidence that she is an exceptional veterinarian. She’s cared for all three of my French Bulldogs — Otie, Clovis, and now Dozier — each with unmatched compassion and professionalism.
Dr. Nicole only saw Otie a few times before he passed suddenly from heart failure at the age of 16. Even in those brief visits, her gentle and attentive care brought me peace during a heartbreaking time.
My second, Clovis, was under her care for several years. Every single time I opened the car door at the clinic, he would pull me straight to the entrance — tail wagging, if he had one, excited to see the staff. That kind of reaction speaks volumes about the warmth and kindness he experienced there. When Clovis was later diagnosed with lung cancer at age 16, Dr. Nicole guided me through that painful chapter with such grace and empathy. Looking back, I can honestly say I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to walk me through the journey of letting him go.
Now, I’ve begun a new chapter with my rescue pup, Dozier, who’s just a year old. He’s brought a new set of challenges, both medical and behavioral, that I’ve never faced before with any of my dogs. But once again, history repeats itself — I feel more than confident having Dr. Nicole by our side. With her and the incredible staff supporting us, I know that whatever comes up, we’re in the very best hands.
There are many great veterinarians in New Orleans — but Dr. Nicole isn’t one of them. She’s something more. She walked beside us through joy, illness, and even heartbreak. My partner and I recently moved from Los Angeles to Nola and needed to establish care for our senior cat, Oliver. I am so grateful we found the Cat Practice in Nola. Dr. Dodson and her team were so kind and patient! As an anxious cat parent with high expectations for his care, the Cat Practice really put my mind at ease. I can’t say enough thanks to Dr. Dodson and my vet tech, Ms. Tabitha, for being so kind and working so well with Oliver. Having a clinic dedicated to just cats truly makes a huge difference. The whole team (including the amazing front staff) were very thorough and communicative. The attention to detail and kindness ensures me that I’ve found the perfect clinic for him!

We have been coming to Carrollton vet with our dog since our old vet(s) retired, after we searched for years for another amazing private vet practice. Dr Algero is caring and knowledgeable. He is patient in explaining what he believes might be going on, the tests (if any) necessary, next steps, any meds he thinks might help, side effects, etc, and always a clear explanation of why and our options. Vets like Dr Algero are the best - they only care about what's best for your pet and work with you all the way. They are walk-in only, but they are clear about that and they let you know if there's a long wait (emergency ahead of you) or other factors. Their rates are very reasonable imo. I know they treat her well and compassionately when she goes to the back with them, which is important to us. His assistants (Nester & Jerry) are involved, always gentle and greet Belle so she's never balked at going back or being handled by them. They are prompt answering their phones, return calls when they say they will and Pam at the front desk always gets me whatever documentation I need when I ask.

Dr. DeCosta was able to diagnose the root cause of my Shih-Tzu’s eye condition by conducting a thorough examination. He took his time taking detailed notes and explained the prognosis with realistic expectations. I was anxious about the cost of service only to be surprised at check-out with a reasonable bill. The location is convenient and peaceful, which can be a godsend when dealing with a sick pet. Will bE my home base for Choco’s eye health.
UPDATE: Choco's eyes continue to heal under Dr. DeCosta's care. No invasive treatment was needed; but if it had been - I'd feel comfortable trusting Dr. DeCosta with care. Professional and focused vet. His priority is the animal's comfort, and that is priceless.

Simply the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to, and I have visited many studios all over the world. The teachers are the best, structuring the classes to include time to ground, breathe, and heal through mindful movement. The building is gorgeous, an old public library with an authentic mural, surrounded by bright windows that draw in energy and light. I’ve been coming here for 10 years since I bought my house a few blocks away, I hope many more locals and visitors are able to take a breath and nourish their lives here for many years to come.
Most wonderful hypnotherapist I’ve ever had. She’s motivating—I’m a severe depressed bipolar & if I lived near this lady & could see her often I’d get well—I swear I believe I could! I’ve never felt that way about any of my doctors or counselors. She’s freakin AWESOME!

Wonderful yoga classes for beginner and advanced! Intensive teaching, experienced yogis, comfortable for beginner, variations taught throughout, fundamentals emphasizes. The bundle comes with video library including form and fundamentals.
I've gone to two sessions and will continue. The instructor is very diligent about ensuring that each person strives to get into the correct position. The foundations class is challenging, but feasible for a beginner like me. I'll be sticking with it!

Gabriella is a ROCKSTAR!!! As a persistent newcomer to yoga, I hesitated to sign up for Gabriella's inversions class. Faced with such movement, my body, after years of lifting weights, surely wouldn't be happy about going right side up. Something would feel off. Some body part would ache. At the very least, the novelty of these inversions would fall out of fashion and passion quickly. Much to my suprise, inversions have played a role in rehabilitating my body and suring up my step. This practice WILL give you more confidence in ALL of your movements!

The massage chairs were a bit outdated and not as comfortable as the ones I'm used to at Massage Envy. However, my husband and I had a couples massage, and Brandon and Angela did an amazing job. They were professional, attentive, and made the experience very enjoyable. The lady at the reception desk was also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, despite the chairs, the excellent service and massage therapists made for a great experience.

I have fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, and chronic fatigue syndrome. My massage therapist of 12 years recently moved out of state, and I have been searching for a new option. I took a chance on Wellness Massage Spa UPT NOLA and had a 50-minute upper cervical/shoulder/lumbar chair massage today with Jason. He is OUTSTANDING. I requested deep pressure, but it became unbearable about 10 minutes into the session since I had not had a massage in so long. Jason IMMEDIATELY adjusted his pressure to medium, and even switched back and forth at my request for specific areas. $82 (including $10 tip) is small price to pay for health and wellness.
Stacy is amazing! I started going to her when I was pregnant with my second child, and 11 years later, I still use her regularly! She knows the body well and how to work out any and all pains and kinks!
Raymond Harris is a wonderful, professional masseuse. He came to my house and helped me with a sports injury. He charged $120 an hour which was about standard for massages in Nola at the time. Great experience, 10/10, would recommend.

Sandra is an amazing healer and offers a variety of types of massage.... Deep Tissue, Thai, Lymphatic, cupping therapy, she's got you covered. I always leave feeling like deep healing has taken place and recommend her highly. She is easy to communicate with and is a highly trained and experienced therapist who is always learning new techniques and modalities.

If you are struggling with an injury, have a history of being injury prone, or just in general need help with your running, then do yourself a favor and go see RT at the Stride Shop. I cannot recommend him highly enough. After years of dealing with recurring muscle and tendon injuries and undergoing various PT rehab programs, I booked an appointment with RT based on feedback from several of my running friends.
He didn’t just ask where I was hurting and focus on healing that area. He performed a full assessment of my running form, range of motion, and strength. He identified the underlying causes of my injuries and gave me a specific program of exercises to address them.
He made sure I knew how to do all the exercises correctly, and patiently answered my hundreds of nerd questions. After 3 months of consistently following his guidance I am feeling 100% and running better than I have in many years.
I was really impressed with RT. He is knowledgeable and genuine, and I would not hesitate to see him again for help with anything related to my running program.
I've had worsening chronic pain for 5 years now with no proper diagnosis or medical aid, but Dr. Joe had a spot-on diagnosis for me within 15min of seeing him for the first time! Now I can finally start getting the medical help I've so desperately been searching for these last 5 years, and I'm able to receive it next door to him in the same building! Can't recommend these people enough, I've never been listened to like this and the results are speaking for themselves.

Dr. Moran really knows what he's talking about. Tt's incredibly rare to find someone who understands both TCM and clinical immunology in the context of ME/CFS and Long Covid. Having successfully managed his own Long Covid symptoms, Dr. Moran showed a lot of empathy with me, and he also took as long as needed to make sure I understood concepts thoroughly, which most doctors never do. I feel lucky to have found him.
Jimi is professional, compassionate, and understanding. If you feel like something is not working for you, communicate with him and he will adjust the acupuncture style accordingly. I originally came in for scapular dyskinesia and was receiving targeted treatments for my upper back. After a couple sessions, I felt worse and feared acupuncture wasn’t for me. Jimi suggested I try a whole body chi approach and it worked wonders. I received treatments every 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately I moved out of the city, otherwise I would still be scheduling sessions. Highly recommend!

Also I really like to point out the smaller classes, my class Started with just 3 of us and later in 2 more join us on the yard. So you get lots of time in the truck and time for practicing your pre trip inspection. You will not be disappointed, it was just overall an awesome experience.
