I didn't even have to worry about taking pictures because Donica took care of us. There was no complaints from my girls and I as every single person felt pampered when we left. Fred did 3 of our massages and we all felt amazing when he was done. Now my girl Lauren had me glowing when I left.We are planning our next birthday spa party in 2 months and we are coming back. “EVERY single time I’ve been to this salon, I’ve always felt super welcomed & gotten the queen treatment for sure. Everyone is always all smiles, super friendly, sweet and accommodating. The atmosphere is super bright as well so if you’re having a bad day & walk inside, you’ll definitely be in better spirits and I love that. Thats why I’ve continued to come back because the customer service is unmatched. I’ve never been anywhere w/this level of service.BUT I have to say every single time I’ve been, I’ve had an issue. First time, my nails started to look really bad after only two days. Second, I couldn’t get my nails how I wanted them because the tech said she didn’t have time & all I wanted was a French tip. Third, my nails were really discolored and odd looking after only ONE day. Fourth, I set a morning appointment and I got a text from the stylist saying my appointment had to be changed to an evening appointment because of scheduling issues. I’m so sad to not be able to give this salon 5 stars because all the service providers I’ve encountered are truly the sweetest service providers I’ve ever worked with but I just can’t look pass these issues.“

“Felt very obligated to leave this review because I don't think my engagement photos would have turned out even half as great without Kim encouraging me and leaving me with an amazing Blow Out.I was in town visiting and also getting my engagement photos done when I woke up the last day, right before our shoot, with food poisoning. I was just trying to make it the best I could even though I felt horrid. Upon walking in for my appt, Kim could tell I wasn't feeling 100% and immediately started offering suggestions or remedies to help. Since I was the only one in the salon, she even put the A/C on blast for me and brought me a hand fan and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible throughout the entire service. Close to finishing with my hair, I said something like "I can do this" and Kim was just so sweet and said some of the most encouraging words to give me the final push of energy I needed. My hair looked amazing even if I didn't feel that way and even as I was walking out the door, she told me one more time "You got this. It's only one hour and the photos are going to turn out amazing!"Kim, how right you were! Without her (and my photographer who was equally as patient and kind) I really don't think I would have had the strength to make it through the day let alone the shoot and it just goes to show...you can be good at your job but kindness and compassion can go so much farther.Thank you so much to Buff Beauty Bar and my girl Kim. Anytime I'm in Nola, I will make it an occasion to get pampered by you :)“

When you go to Jo - you get special treatment and feel like the only person that matters. She will listen, work with you and as always, makes you feel seen. Jo makes something out of not much I have to work with, something special. But honestly, why I am actually reviewing is for those that may have some social anxiety, or personal discomfort for whatever reason. When I leave Jo’s I am relaxed and feel safe and seen. I don’t dread going to get my haircut if I am going to Jo. The opposite.“

“Best massage of my life! I have been to 4 different spas with 4 different massage therapists and I’ve had a good experience at all of them, but this one takes the cake. I booked an hour massage with Cezanne and I will 1000000% be back. Every person that I interacted with the spa was professional and friendly. What really sets them apart, to me, was the Cezanne also stretched me out in areas that are super tight. She also stretched my back and I felt it crack in the best way possible. I would give them more stars if I could. Definitely a great experience.“
