“I went to Matthew after going to multiple docs, being on a handful of medication and still not feeling great. I left after my first session feeling relaxed and energized. The feeling has stayed with me months later. I also feel like I’m better able to let little things go that used to bother me, no need to argue or fight over who has the last word. Another unexpected bonus. My posture improved. This has been great! I referred my daughter who deals with a chronic medical issue and depression that comes from managing it. She was wary at first, but went anyway. She told me a few days after that she felt much better and believed it had really helped. She wants to go back to work on anxiety. “This was an excellent massage and I’ve had a good amount of bodywork all over the world. A nice mix of Swedish with light Thai touches; draped acupressure-type then work on different areas with oil; hot stones; warm wet cloths to wipe off the oil. Though they didn’t ask us to fill out a form beforehand they quickly checked in on areas we wanted to focus & any areas to avoid as well as asked about pressure just the right number of times. It happened to be goldilocks perfect medium pressure for me. The massage therapist seemed to have such an intuitive sense of areas to work on & areas that were more sensitive. Very professional, safe feeling & targeted. 90 minutes of bliss. I definitely snored at least once it was so relaxing and also effective. Massaging & stretching those knots out. The price was also very reasonable. I had called around a number of places that were booked -since I just thought of having us get massages on our first day here in New Orleans. Especially since we had a redeye flight and we were not going to be able to check into our accommodations until later. It was actually a perfect way to rest & restore after a garden district walking tour. I’m surprised there were no yelp reviews but happy to see the Google reviews here to support my pick. And very happy to add my review as well to substantiate that this is an excellent establishment with highly skilled massage therapists. Appears to be run by an Asian collective (family?) of massage therapists - unobtrusive, considerate and deliver a great experience. My family was satisfied.“

Now I drive 150 miles to get my neck adjusted from Dr. Rilette.I consider him to be the best Doctor I’ve ever been to! He massages it into place before he even adjusts it. “Such an unbelievably wonderful experience. Got a 50min relaxation massage as my Mother’s Day gift, which was amazing. But to make things even more amazing, when they heard my six-year-old son was disappointed he couldn’t go, they invited him to come the next morning and have a full “spa” experience. They had a drink waiting for both of us, let him get in a robe, and have a 20min massage chair experience! He was unbelievably excited.

The extra care and attention we received was so genuinely kind and just a great example of how effortlessly they put the guests first here. Highly recommend!!“

They offer you a choice of beverage when you arrive (the hot cinnamon tea is lovely), you relax before your appointment in the relaxation room with a hot neck pillow in a cushy robe. Cicely was my masseuse and she was incredible— a perfect amount of pressure, listened to what I needed and was so kind.“

“We chose this massage studio because it had the best reviews compared to all the other massage places in the area, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

The massage therapists are from China, and they are exceptionally skilled. They gave massages to me and both of my daughters, and we all had a great experience. My therapist had incredibly strong hands—I actually had to ask him several times to ease up because the pressure was so intense. If you enjoy deep tissue massages, this is definitely the place for you. I’m convinced he could handle even the toughest, strongest client with ease.

The prices are very reasonable, and everything was spotless. The massage table was comfortable, the towels were fresh and clean, and the entire space was well maintained. There were no unpleasant odors or signs of poor hygiene, making it a very relaxing environment.

Soft music was playing, the lighting created a warm and peaceful atmosphere, and it was easy to unwind from the moment we walked in.

Most importantly, it was obvious that the therapists truly know what they’re doing. They have an excellent understanding of human anatomy and muscle structure, and every movement felt intentional and professional.

“Very intense. Fairly more expensive than what you’d pay in Slidell or somewhere else outside the city but good option nearby. If you get a combo or shoulder service make sure you wear a loose shirt or a shirt you don’t mind getting stretched. I wore a new shirt I really liked but they ended up stretching the collar out despite my efforts to reposition … still good experience.“
