The space is clean and staff is friendly. I’ve been twice - once after losing my nose ring and once after losing my belly ring - and each time I was greeted warmly and had all my needs taken care of without an appointment. Getting new jewelry only took a few minutes, but jewelry is kind of pricey. Today, I got a silver belly ring ($40) and had the color customized ($10). If you’re driving, be prepared to pay for parking.
Virginian visiting NOLA for a conference & have started getting tattoos as souvenirs when I travel. Whole experience with this shop was an 11/10. Great customer service & worked with my schedule. Definitely book an appointment in advance. They have gumball “get what you get” machines, some that are NOLA specific.
Gianna and Henry were amazing, as was the front desk staff. Helped my friend, my momma & myself all leave New Orleans with a tattoo to remember our trip! 100% give this shop a look. It’s also right near Frenchman St., so right near great live music!
Downtown Tattoos is by far the best tattoo shop in the New Orleans area. I have been twice to do the “get what you get” tattoos and I have been so impressed both times. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The artists are so professional and so talented. Will go back every chance I get!
