I have been getting my nails done at golden file downtown for a few years now and love it. They do phenomenal gel X extensions and have great luxury pedicure options. Katie is amazing at gel X and is a true artist- the Halloween designs she did for me are just a small example of how talented she is. I always know I am going to get great quality when I see her. Golden File is a warm and welcoming salon that offers snacks and drinks, and makes you feel at home immediately. I love it!
I stupidly forgot to take photos of my manicure but I had a wonderful experience at this salon with Linh specifically! She is so sweet, patient, thorough, and skilled. I loved chatting with her throughout the appointment, and she encouraged me to take my time when deciding on color and design. For the first time in a salon I genuinely didn't feel rushed. I got builder gel with a cat eye design on short natural nails. I can't speak to all of the nail techs at Golden File but I highly recommend booking with Linh. I don't live in NOLA, otherwise I would come back. Thank you!
Great experience! Service was prompt and employees were welcoming. My wife was able to get in quickly upon entering. Many tech available as they were busy but nothing they couldn't handle during our walk in. The nail techs were experienced and did good work on the pedicure. The seating area was small for waiting customers but like I mentioned above there was no wait ; so no big deal. They offered drink such as water, wine, typical sodas. It's a place we will definitely be coming back to visit.
