David Lauricella & Sons is the house doctor of foundations. I had contracted his services 7 years ago to fix some floorboards that had deteriorated. Well my middle pier under the living room was collapsing and the new bathroom that was built 13 years prior had never been supported. David Lauricella and Sons is the house doctor of foundations. I had contracted his services 7 years ago to fix some floorboards that had deteriorated. But like visiting a doctor you go in to see them for one thing and they find something entirely different. My middle pier under the living room was collapsing. He showed it to me, his explanations were like a teacher born full of true experience. And the new bathroom that was built 13 years prior had never been supported so its sinking made sense. Our hallway flooring had a dip that was progressively getting worse, and, as a new homeowner, I was definitely panic-spiraling on what the issue might be and where to begin to resolve. Adding to the issue, the beams under our house are treated and covered in an insulation, so you can't see the beam without removing it. We had a few companies come out to assess, but they, understandably, wouldn't give an assessment of the issue until we had someone remove the insulation.
