Sarah at Hidden Root is extraordinary. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about the body and the intricacies of muscles and nerves and internal systems, but she's also an expert at all Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. She worked her acupuncture magic on my neck and shoulders, and I could feel the muscles respond to her needlework in a way that I'd never experienced even with deep tissue massage. She even worked on a stubborn ankle injury that wasn't healing, and it's now almost completely healed. After only ever having gotten acupuncture once before, I'm a convert now and cannot wait to go back to Sarah.
I was only in New Orleans for 2 days, and on day #1 (a Friday) on strained my neck pretty good. I called and left a message around noon and Sarah called back an hour or so later and was able to squeeze me in that afternoon.
Neck pain was much better as was range of motion in 20 mins. Within 36 hours it was as if I never had an issue. I am very thankful Sarah was able to work me into her schedule and help me.
