I had a fantastic experience with Brandi at SwampWater Studio! I came in, showed her my reference photo, and she scheduled me the same day. When I arrived for my appointment she was prepared, respectful, and very quick! Her pricing is fair and her shop and demeanor are so comfortable and inviting. I’ll definitely be going back for my future tattoos!

Brandi has to be one of the most talented artists there is. She does great work and her passion for what she does comes across in that work. I had the please of having her work on a tattoo piece of mine for almost 3 years and several visits. I can’t tell you the number of people who have commented on that piece and have asked me who did it for me. If you are in or around the New Orleans area and are interested in getting a permanent piece of body art, look no further that this studio.Highly recommended!!!

Best rework in New Orleans! Best Cover-up in New Orleans! Brandi is literally a lifesaver! She was able to take an existing tattoo and rework it into a masterpiece. At one point I didn’t like to remove my shirt because I wasn’t happy with what I had going on but now I can’t wait for people to see what’s under there! Definitely recommend her for anything. I had my wife get something from her immediately after she helped me and I’ve pointed several people her way.

SwampWater Studio is a tattoo parlor and art studio developed with the sole purpose of designing quality, custom tattoos and art work at a fair price for the public in a clean, sterile and safe environment. Our focus is not only on the artwork, but preserving the history and traditions of the tattoo community along with educating our diverse client base. Owner and tattoo artist Brandi Bruce has been tattooing since 2008 and been able to work with many artists and shops across the country. In 2022, she was able to come back to New Orleans and open her own shop. Appointments are appreciated, walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first served basis.
