We had an amazing experience with K9aholics! We enrolled our rescue dog, Petey, in their 4-week training program (5 days a week), and it exceeded our expectations.
From the very beginning, Cam made the enrollment process incredibly easy and was so helpful in getting everything set up. Throughout the program, all of the trainers—including Mikayla, Acacia, and the rest of the team—were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about Petey's success.
One of our favorite parts was receiving a daily report card with updates on how Petey was doing, along with photos and videos. It was so reassuring to see his progress each day. At the end of every week, we had a lesson with homework so we could continue reinforcing everything he was learning at home, which made a huge difference.
Drop-off and pick-up were always quick and seamless, and everyone was welcoming every single day. You can tell this team truly loves what they do and wants every dog to succeed.

They did a fantastic job of removing and pruning several large trees, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to strict safety procedures. The cost was very reasonable and the quality of work was excellent. I was impressed by their attention to detail and care in lowering large limbs. I enjoyed my experience with Nadia. She was very resourceful with her knowledge of vitamins and overall health. Her knowledge of the different types of hair extensions was very impressive and made me feel more comfortable being that this was my first time getting hair extensions. As well, she nailed the hair color when dying it to match my own hair color. Although I chose to get long extensions and then changed my mind the next day to get my hair cut shorter , she displayed the utmost patience and cut my hair into the desired style. I can wear my hair curled or wet. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Love the whole process of being a new client. The consultation with Tru was very thorough. I was able to express my concerns regarding my hair. I conveyed to her I was tender headed and upon my New Client Appointment she remembered and was very gentle with my hair. I love their products. The detangling process was very easy and gentle. When it came time for my trim she explained two options. The first option resulting in more hair being cut. However, I trusted her recommendation and really feel good about my decision. For the first time going, it was an excellent experience all throughout. I had Emmitt cut my hair and he is a beast! I went from having long dead unmanageable hair to a nice sleek clean bust fade all that he briefly looked at once and perfected it! Will be back two Saturdays from now and excited to see what lies ahead for my hair and the transformation they make from it. I trust them for all my hair needs. Plus barbershop talk is always a plus. It had been 2+ years since my last haircut so barbershop talk made me feel right at home. I got a transformation haircut which is about 60 dollars but it truly is worth every penny and the famous amous cookies was a nice sweet treat to crave my sweet tooth :) but a styled haircut runs about 35 dollars which is what I'll get next time :)
So... if you know me.. I ALWAYS leave a review of where I go. I met the owner prior to starting this business when my boys were younger and they started needing haircuts. He saved me 🤣 He seen another young man tearing my boys hair up and offered his services. Prior to him even doing that I would sit and watch the men coming in and out of his chair. Let me tell you...he was literally transforming these men! They would come in and on a scale from 1-10 looking like a 4 and he literally had them going out the door looking like a 10. It was the confidence of their faces when they got out the chair for me. He is always very friendly but he really has my boys looking sharp. All I'm going to say is pull up one day... Ask for the owner Ant...any of his barbers will hook you up.....I GUARANTEE you'll be back off the cut itself.

I came in first time today for a fill. I hadn't seen this place but today was in need and made a quick u turn. I am so glad I came here! She was fantastic! She fixed my nails and did a great job with the fill. I was the only one in shop so I was there for a reasonable amount of time. I think her husband was there and he did my pedicure. It was great also! Left my feet feeling so soft and looking gorgeous. They have a little doggy there that is so precious and friendly! Little employee of the month. Overall I am pleased and content with my visit. I recommend this place. Its a little gem. Shes been there for 15 years and is the only one mostly there. Stop by! You won't regret it. I found this place as I was looking to try gel x nail extensions as so many places don’t offer it yet and Thao definitely DID NOT disappoint!!! She was very nice not to mention professional! She did my nails exactly how I envisioned and made my first experience with the process worry-free. I will definitely be returning as I think I’ve found my new favorite nail salon and new fave nail tech too!! Go and check it out! Oh and if you want to really get relaxed while you’re there- they offer a free serving of wine! Can’t beat that!

Just moved to the area and made a same day appointment and had an amazing experience the pedicure was top notch amazing. The guy that did my pedicure was so careful and he had attention to detail. Angie who did my fullset did a new technique that i have never seen before. She was fast, professional, and so kind. The only thing they are lacking is they need more techs there but the lack of techs didn’t slow their service. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The experience was wonderful!

Richard is THE best! My hair is naturally very thick and curly and he is the ONLY stylist in this area that does it perfectly. His men’s cuts are also impeccable. He is a master of his craft.
Got a pedicure with hot stone massage and paraffin wax, it was amazing, feet feeling and looking good!
The infrared sauna was a good experience, it didn’t feel that much different than a dry sauna at a gym. The massage was definitely worth it and the therapist was attentive to my trigger points. The float could be a good experience, but I am a very tall guy and did not fit in the pod enough to receive the actual relaxation. They gave me a great discount for being active duty military and were very kind.

So the work Dom does is stellar. His attention to detail is amazing. He books up fast so make an appointment. Walk ins are next to impossible. The studio is peaceful and super cool with a ton of art throughout the entire place. Dom took a simple idea and turned it to a beautiful reality. Also a word to the wise, look closely at the one star review on here. It applies to one artist and one appointment and the guy says her art is excellent...is that really a one star?

Brandon Glass made getting my first tattoo a very lovely and memorable experience. He was attentive and professional. What i thought was going to be a painful experience turned out to be quite pleasant. My only complaint was that he finished so quickly. He also told me how to propertly tend to my tattoo during the healing process. I will definitely be back.

Had a leak in my kitchen sink faucet and it needed to be replaced. I called early in the morning and there were able to come and fix it within 2 hours. The two workers who did the work were very friendly and it only took them around 30 minutes to swap out the faucet. Very fast work, high quality and friendly workers, I highly recommend them.

The care in detail and respect for being in someone’s house was evident. The work area was cleaned and vacuumed prior to departure. Overall, I highly recommend, especially for the average homeowner with legacy issues associated with an older home or needing new switches, plugs, or lights. Pricing-wise, very fair. The cost for a service call is very affordable.
Mr. Kraig and Mr. Lenny were phenomenal. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were also extremely professional, pleasant, and open to sharing information regarding their process. They patiently answered my questions, and I had a lot. This will be a company I use for all future endeavors.

Walked in with a broken motorcycle key and the starter switch. He was able to duplicate my snapped key with no problem. He also duplicated another motorcycle key I had. 3 duplicates for $20 and was done in less than 10 mins, super recommended!
Have a wonderful experience with Metro lock and key. The guy there knows everything about keys and vaults and all the above. They helped me with my motorcycle keys that nobody else could do because of they long key they said so was very happy that this place was able to help me out. If you need your hardwood floors refinished, look no further. Stephen Shaffer promptly came out to give me an estimate for refinishing my first floor. He explained how long it would take and what to expect. He and his team showed up on time and got started. They finished when promised. I could not believe how great the floors looked. Hawkins Enterprise is owned and managed by Will Hawkins, and has been in business since 1988. Will is fully licensed and insured, and employs some of the very best subs I have ever experienced in Tidewater. Our admittedly small bathroom renovation needed carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, ceramic tile installers and vinyl floor installers; and each was a master craftsman and well coordinated to complete their work when required. Materials for our project were suggested but left largely to me, and those chosen by Hawkins were top quality. Communications between Hawkins, the subs and myself was outstanding. Project pricing was competitive, and the 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 progress payment schedule was fair and normal for Tidewater.

Loved these dentists! Everybody was engaging, friendly and professional. This was my first visit and yet they made me feel like I was an old friend. The tech took all the x-rays, pictures, etc. quickly and painlessly. The dentist did a thorough dental checkup and provided good follow-up advice. The admin efficiently processed my insurance, requiring no payment from me. I’m definitely keeping them as my dentists.

Dr. Clayton and Ms. Alyssa are the best! I was referred to them by good friends after my sciatic nerve pain got so bad I couldn’t walk for a week. With a baby coming in a few months, I knew it was time to do this. Finally, I was able to make it into Dr. Clayton’s office and a couple of months of weekly visits, following the stretch and exercise plan, I was right as rain. It’s been 2 years now and I still go regularly to keep up with things. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Dr. Connelly saved my life from pain. I got hit in the head by falling branch in my front yard 9ish years ago. After a few months the right side of my body was ‘shutting down’. I stopped in and made an appointment. Took a bit of time to line me back up and have been going every 3 weeks since. I believe Chiropractic care should be part of your self care/health regimen. If only I could convince my husband. Maybe he likes being in pain.?♀️

I used Friendship Vet for 3 years while living in Virginia. While the vet techs go above and beyond, and the main Vet is nice enough, the front desk receptionists are less than nice. It really doesn’t matter which one you speak to, they are incredibly short and very rude on the phone. When calling to make an appointment or asking for a refill on a prescription for my dog it’s like I’m inconveniencing them in their job. In person, they are nicer to your face, but after 3 years of dealing with them to make appointments and being met with a bad attitudes on the phone… it just gets old. However, the vet techs deserve all the praise and more! They are super kind, very attentive, and really listen to your concerns. I’d recommend this place solely based off of them.

Also, I was babysitting my son's cat who has diabetes. Dr. Capps was able to attach a blood glucose monitor on his back so I could keep track of his daily blood sugar levels and use the proper amount of insulin. Dr. Capps reviewed the daily glucose graphs and gave advice for his care each day.
We have been talking our digs here since day one after researching local vets. Available to milliary, this vet is great to deal with. The cost is lower than vets in town, and they take our USAA pet insurance. The staff are easy to deal with and are willing to work with you if you can't exactly meet the appointment time. Lab results that weren't required to be sent to another facility came back 2 hours after they were collected, which was amazing.
Oh nothing here again to review again on how she always take good care of Bugatti who suffers from anxiety my baby is sooo sweet he just get overstimulated and is spoiled we tried an new groomer idk why because honestly Queen the only grooming we should be going to and that’s that!!!! Thanks for being so dedicated and keeping me informed on anything for the good of Bugatti his ears was matted so we had to cut them only reason why I didn’t post a pic this time he still looks handsome but I would rather yall see him when he goes back lol
Happy Tails Resort has been great for my dog. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and my dog always seems happy and tired after staying there. It’s nice knowing he’s well taken care of while I’m away. Definitely recommend them if you need boarding or daycare.

Highly recommend Marc and his team. I had a car accident many many years ago and have seen 10+ physical therapists over the years. Marc was by far the most effective and hands on. Other physical therapists give you some exercises and then walk away. I often felt that my form was not good and there was little to no progression with the exercises. You'll get the opposite with Movement is Medicine - Marc really challenged me, changed the exercises as necessary, and does a good job of explaining what you're doing and why. He also helped me problem solve my step down after PT. Highly highly recommend.
Mary is an awesome PT. She worked with me to regain confidence and heal my body. Her program and protocol got me back to an active lifestyle quickly.

This place is amazing. everyone is nice and helpful. I had a 3hr glucose test and started feeling like crap during and the staff were amazing. I haven't had any bad experience from the staff here, the sugar test was the first time I have hated being there but that's not their fault. I hope all my other appointments here continues to be just a great.

I had no idea of the many benefits of hyperbaric therapy until I ripped (not cut..ripped) my left half open so severely that my husband had to call the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad to take me to the hospital emergency room. On my last return visit to get my stitches out the ER doctor suggested I see a plastic surgeon (PS) as she suspected I was going to need a skin graph. The ER doctor scheduled an appointment with the PS and I went straight to his office. The PS recommended Hyperbaric treatments because it would help speed up the healing process but at that particular point he felt a skin graph would be require. He sent me to the Tier 1 Therapy Center in Norfolk. What a great group of people including Sarah, Kylie, Shaun and others who's names escape me at the moment ( my apologies). Anyway, I went 5 days a week for 5 weeks and results that I was initially skeptical about were amazing. An injury that I thought would never heal began to heal much quicker than I ever would have anticipated. Two days after my last session I went back to the PS. Now there is a good chance a skin graph will not be required. You have no idea what a relief not having to have a skin graph would be. I strongly recommend Tier 1 and suggest anyone interested look them up on the internet. I had no idea there are so many potential uses for Hyperbaric medicine including but no limited to wound care, brain injuries, inflammation, cognitive disorders, auto-immune disorders, etc. I highly recommend hyperbaric medicine and I especially want to recommend Tier 1 Therapy, a group of very knowledgeable, friendly and kind folks who truly care about your health.
My experience with Acupuncture & Herbal Solutions has been excellent. From the moment I walked in and was greeted and assisted by Lilly to the consultation and treatments since with Lada, I have been cared for.The environment is relaxing, inclusive and private. Lada listens to understand your health challenges and needs specifically for YOU. She both western medicine training and Traditional Chinese Acupuncture/Medicine training. Moreover she continues to engage in current research for a variety of health challenges and considers all of that at your consult/assessment and treatments. Lastly, she explains her plan at each treatment, so whether acupuncture is new for you or like me you have utilized it over the years, there is always ongoing communication and understanding of the process. I highly recommend Lada and Acupuncture & Herbal Solutions.
