“My appointment was on Saturday, June 13th at 11:30am at the Janaf Center location in Norfolk, VA. My stylist name was Queenie.
I was transitioning from natural hair locs. to cutting them all off due to severe alopecia at the crown area of my head. Of course, I was nervous.
Queenie reassured me that everything was going to be o.k. and that I was in good hands.
I turned around in looked in the mirror after she was finished and I smiled so hard. I was so happy and felt a huge feeling of relief.

“Great service. Rico seems to be the favorite amongst the male clients. My hair is thick, wavy, and very difficult to style well. So, when I find someone who does a great job, I will only see that person.

I thought I was the only one, though, that would let others go ahead of them just to see Rico. I was wrong. One morning, it was a line of guys all adamant like me to have him cut their hair.

The parting is SO neat, every braid is the same size, and they’re secure but not tight at all. I can literally put them up already.
