We are so happy that Mika, at La Boheme, was recommended to us. My daughter and I have been looking for a new stylist for a couple of years. When I see people with good haircuts, I ask them who cuts their hair. Usually, I am told they got their hair cut in Richmond or out of state. Finally, an amazing local stylist and colorist!

La boheme has a comfy Bohemian vibe. The name is perfect for this salon. The receptionist is warm and friendly. It is upstairs(no elevator)and filled with light. Mika’s hair station is in a small room, so, if you have hearing issues-like I do, this room cancels out the noise in the large, high ceiling space of the main salon....read full review

Made my first visit yesterday after my last salon just couldn't get my color right and were chronically late to appointments. Amber at La Boheme had researched my color formula beforehand, discussed a detailed plan for what we could do, and my hair came out looking incredible! Such a difference from the last salon. I'm super happy. This salon is upstairs in a neat old building, with beautiful decor and a very inclusive and welcoming vibe. It was busy with all types of clients and stylists. I'll be returning for sure!
