I’ve been seeing Wynter for my hair for 4 years now and there truly isn’t anything she CAN’T do! We’ve done many different hair styles (including a full blown shag), extensions, and every single color under the sun. Her expertise with vivids is unmatched!! On top of her hair mastery, her attitude and care towards her clients is such a wonderful combo of professionalism but also making you feel like you’ve been best friends for years. But let me tell you about Keisha - she's an absolute hair magician! For the past 2 years, she's been taking care of my hair and it's never looked better! She's not only super talented, but she's also really friendly and professional. She truly knows the science behind hair and always knows just what my hair needs. And the best part? She's always mindful of my budget! I've had braids, silk presses, and even rods done by her, and let me tell you, Tina does the most beautiful nails too! I had a last minute business trip and I've been working remote for many years. Needless to say I felt like an animal. None of the shops back home could fit me into their scheduling and it seems that a walk in these days is almost like a unicorn. It just isn't real. Anchorage on the other hand made it happen. Not only that but I went to the wrong location the first time called in hopes that they would still be able to take care of me and i was still able to get a good cut. I will tell people that home but I had to fly 3,000 miles to get a haircut and beard trim. If I had that kind of random cash I'd probably fly back once in a while. Can't recommend them enough.

Still the best barber in Chesapeake! Looked around the city for a quality barber. Good to know there are still some classic shops in the area that can cut all hair styles. There's something special about getting edged with a straight razor! 5 minutes away is much better than going across the bridge! I love the fact that you can pay with cash or credit.

Can’t say enough good things about these ladies. Christy has Always been available and been able to fit my girlfriend in her schedule (even when it’s been last minute) and provided aftercare with a level of customer service that is rare in today’s world.
Her fellow tan technician Tori is just as pleasant and treated us like old friends from the start while providing excellent results.

I would recommend Sundays to anyone. The staff is super friendly. It is always clean. Each time I go in there’s a smiling face I go to relax so I use the spa services. The sauna is always hot. The fit wrap is amazing and the slim sculpt is life-changing. After several surgeries, I have zero scars not to mention it’s an easy way to maintain weight tighten and tone. I normally go to the Volvo location, which currently has the K11 tanning bed. Special thanks to Kylee , Kelsey , Lainey, and Angie for being outstanding.

10/10 recommend this place. I’m originally from Chesapeake, but moved away. I was in town for a funeral, and this place took care of me like I was family. I usually see someone regularly in Florida who maintains my nail/cuticle health like a religion, and my basic gel manicures last 4 weeks or more… but needed someone to fill in while I was traveling back home. These guys killed it. They didn’t use a drill, took their time and paid attention to detail and my primary concerns. Would recommend them to anyone.

I was introduced to the owner and decided to go on board with her program.
Ms. Charlene grabbed my hand and literally never let it go. I told her about the situation I had and she taught and mentored me to the fullest.
Every piece of information given to me was necessary for success. There was literally no way I could fail. She worked with me and pushed me to do my absolute best. Constantly encouraged me and expanded my knowledge. I had my plan in my head and she gave me the platform.
Her price was every bit worth it, and I went to that exam with everything I could possibly need for it. She called me the day of to make sure I was comfortable and ready and I passed! I am so grateful to have come across her and recommend her program to anyone interested in becoming a Licensed Nail Technician.

She is dedicated and taught me how to do aftercare for my skin. I highly recommend going to her for services!

I absolutely would recommend the European Wax center to anybody looking for a wax. I was afraid to wax and spent a long time looking for a place where I would feel comfortable and maintain a wax specialist I could go to normally. I came to european wax center a few months ago for my first time and I would like to say I had one of the best experiences. The front staff (Isaiah) specifically welcomed me in and made me feel entirely comfortable before even walking to the room for my wax. I had a waxer who I chose randomly , but she exceeded my expectations . Unfortunately she ended up leaving the wax center a week after my appointment and I had to find a new one. I chose Alyssa as my waxer and have been going to her ever since . I am on my 5th or 6th wax at this point and Alyssa keeps conversations, tells you step by step what she’s doing , and she is completely understanding . Alyssa is quick and I have never left the room with hair left over. 5 stars across the board for Alyssa !!!

As the prices of everyday goods and services are rapidly increasing and the quality of the services we receive are going down in tandem - this business is an exception.
He showed up within 2 hours of my call on a Sunday - we called him while he was at Church, he called us directly after and drove to our place for a free estimate. Scheduling was easy and his quote was more than reasonable. The next day he showed up and knocked out the work after tackling an earlier industrial plumbing job. The final price was right within the estimate and he kept us updated throughout the process explaining all of his findings. I can't speak highly enough of him and the work he performed.
If you afraid of being taken advantage of or dealing with a disinterested amateur, I can assure you this man has been doing this for 49(!!!) years and holds a solution oriented mindset that keeps your interests and wallet at heart. Not only was he personable, he genuinely cared to explain what caused our plumbing issues at a level we understood. A+ kinda guy.

I called Precision Plumbing for an issue with the kitchen sink and toilets driving at my sister's home the Tuesday after Labor Day. Even though they had to make up for a holiday, they were able to schedule me the next day. Josh called me when he was less than 30 minutes away and I met him at the house. I have to say this young man earned his pay at the house. He had to physically locate the drain pipes by digging down at least 18 inches. But he used his knowledge and found the exact spot. Mind you this pipe has not been unearthed for over 50 years. He did everything he could that day. He came back the next day and spent several hours tracing the blockage. Josh is an amazing plumber and was very easy to talk to and deal with. The staff that take the calls and handle all the work are also amazing and I would go to no one else.

We were having plumbing issues in our master bathroom shower with leaking and reached out to numerous plumbing companies with no response back after being recommended to reach out to Get Lit they had their professional courteous guy Drew come out the next day to take a look at the problem and within a few days Drew was able to have everything fixed and looking good I highly recommend Get Lit Electricians & Plumbers and I definitely recommend asking for Drew….. HIRE ZAP!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!! So Thankful for David and Dodd coming to the rescue. Had an electrician install perm outside lights. They started going out a section at a time. Sloppy work with cords…and so much more horrible things. I contacted David from seeing another great review. David and Dodd came out, looked at the horrible nightmare, looked at the house all around, went into the attic for inspection of what was installed, looked over the new perm lights sets, provided his recommendations as they went over the whole outside as to how they would install. They were on time for the estimate and for the install day. Repectful, friendly, knowledgeable, dependable, and SO much more. Very scared to hire another company once they did a horrible job when you work hard for a living and try to have your house look nice. David reassured that they will do the best job and will be very satisfied. Thank You Lighting Maintenance Inc. for your assistance last Thursday, 9 April 2026. There were 3 HUGE pieces of steel debris on EB 64. One piece became lodged under the front of the loaner car I was driving and I was unable to move from the middle lane for at least 2 minutes. It felt like forever! Finally the driver behind me realized I could not move forward and backed-up, so I could do the same. It is a miracle that I was not rear-ended or worse. As I drove WB 64 to return the vehicle, the 3-man Team from Lighting Maintenance Inc. assisted me (took pictures of the debris) and reassured me during an extremely stressful time. Andrew and Southside Irrigation are amazing and provide outstanding customer service. I live on the Peninsula. So, Southside Irrigation wasn’t even on my radar. I got their information from a family friend. I met with three different irrigation companies and Andrew was by far the best. Not only did he do a great job installing and setting up our system, but he also took great care in the thoughtfulness of how it should be laid out. He also worked with an existing well I had dug on my property. He also explained why he used which products, which I really appreciated. He’s quick to respond when you need him. If you’re looking to have a premium experience with a highly professional experience, look no further than Southside Irrigation.
Landscaping is expensive; that's just the nature of the service. For that reason you want to make sure that you get what you pay for and make the right choice. Brooks wasn't the first place I called but the first business I called told me they were at least two months away from even setting up an appointment let alone getting a project underway and completed. But they suggested that I call Brooks because they knew them to be reputable. So I did. From the first call and after speaking with Gail I knew I was on the right track. It was late spring and my goal was to complete the project by mid-summer. Once I explained what we were looking for (a complete "do over" front and back, a patio, and a water feature) Gail came by the property for a visit. She went right to work on the suggested concept. In a few weeks we visited her at the nursery and talked about shrub/tree preferences and heard her recommendations. We arrived at a final cost, I made the down payment and we pulled the trigger on the project. The work crew (generally 4 guys) showed up on time each and every morning for more than two weeks. It happened to be the hottest few days on record in the Hampton Roads area but they pushed through every day. They knew what they were doing. At the end they had put in 3 tons of rock/stone for the pond, 135 shrubs, 10 trees and mulched beds around the entire backyard perimeter and across the front of the house. We now had a new paver patio with a wall on one side and a 500 gallon pond with a waterfall. And two months in during the height of summer and we have not lost one plant. Not one. (Of course we did our part by regularly watering until established.) That tells me something about the quality of the products and the skill of the landscapers. I've had plenty of issues with contractors since moving to the area 10 months ago. I've had more than my share of horror stories. This isn't one of them. It's not possible to thank these folks enough.

The initial evaluation, planning and execution was thorough. All my needs and concerns were addressed. I had a rotting beech tree right next to my home and big limbs overhanging the rooftop. The team efficiently and safely took care of these issues. A few more less exciting ones were also handled. They accommodated some extra requests and left the site clean.

Scott’s crew was on our street doing a big job a few houses away so I approached one of the guys who turned out was Scott himself and asked if he could give me an estimate on having a tree removed.
The tree was tall, diseased, and very dead. It was so brittle that every time we had a storm we were picking up branches that had fallen off.
Scott and I worked out a price and agreed that they would do the job on Monday which was 3 days away. On Saturday they knocked on my door and asked if they could do the job today since the forecast was calling for rain on Monday and Tuesday. I had no problem with that and within minutes a crew of 4 guys were in my backyard and throwing ropes. One guy carefully went up the tree and in less than an hour the tree was completely down.
These guys then cut the tree into smaller pieces and carried them out to the truck in front of my house.
Scott’s crew was very professional, they were very skilled, and they cleaned up my yard to the point that all I had was a few shavings from the saw that I picked up with my lawnmower.
I had a few different tree companies come out and Scott Lanes Tree Service beat them all. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE A TREE REMOVED.

Gave suggestions for: supplements and let me know the one I had started on was a good one. Continue over the counter eye drops and just continue to love him as I do; because “I worship my baby boy.”
I would also like to “thank,” the young lady who helped me get to the appointment and to the actual physical building. My map was doing 360’s and I was never going to find the place. She managed to get me to the facility on time by using the telephone! She was beyond Great and Phenomenal!
I am so glad, I followed my primary vets request and obeyed! It was reasonable and worth everything I paid for this visit in funds and time!
Please, if you love you pet as much as I love mine; please do yearly eye visits with veterinary medicine that specializes in eye conditions and need surgery!

Grateful for Coastal's ongoing compassionate care for Rose. Together, we've managed and rehabbed thin soles, incorporated chiropractic care and acupuncture, navigated IR diagnosis and rehab following a bout of laminitis, abscess diagnosis and treatment (while rehabbing from laminitis!), medication management, weight management and most recently ongoing care of a moderate eye injury. It's nice to know your gal is in good hands throughout these pony adventures.

I've taken my kitty to 3 different vets in the VB area. This is definitely the best we've been to. She was comfortable exploring the room, the staff was nice and not pushy to her. They let me in the room to talk her through everything but brought her back to get her vaccines etc. She's spicy so I'm surprised they got her vaccines while she was awake without me holding her down. We put her to sleep to check out additional issues. I never had any questions along the way because they thoroughly explained everything. I never felt guilted that I have a spicy girl. I can order my prescription food through Chewy without needing additional documentation. I can also tell that they care for animals, even through to the front desk ladies. Overall 10/10, I'm excited to bring my crazy German Shepherd pup in :)
I have 3 Newfoundlands and 1 has had medical problems her whole life. The staff is unbelievable when it comes to treating your pet as their own. Big dogs come with big cost however I find this clinic to have the best prices when caring for your pets. I will always recommend this clinic to everyone!!! Love all the staff!!
Dr. Porter is the vet I trust the most. He always takes care of my babies and goes out of his way to help you understand your options, good and bad. He has tons of experience and knowledge, and genuinely cares about all of his patients (animal and human alike).
They have taken extremely great care of two of my fur babies. They both were fixed and had their shots/exams. Extremely friendly and very caring about your animals.

From the initial phone call to the end at check out, the staff was AMAZING! Marley was great with everyone as he always is a good boy. He had his anal glands expressed, but had also developed an infection…not bad though. Dr Cachero and her Techs are the BEST team I have had the pleasure of meeting and taking optimal care of my Marley. I came in concerned and left relieved and blessed to have encountered such attention, care and love from all of them there. I will definitely, absolutely bring Marley there or make an appointment for all his care. Keep up the great work Centerville!! You guys are the heart and soul of veterinarians!!
Caring to both humans and our furbabies alike. This vet practice is a keeper. Everyone we've come in contact with from reception to the techs and including the vets have been kind and compassionate. They were able to schedule us in for a new patient urgent care (not emergency) visit and procedure. Having the option to wait in the car to minimize pet discomfort is such a simple but well thought option. Electronic signatures and document reviews are a plus. I absolutely recommend this practice, your pets will thank you!
Great place for Veternarian care. Quick appointment scheduled for my Dog Bentleys diarrhea. Problem resolved with medicated dog food. Reasonable prices too. Thank-you again. We will be back .
We’ve been bringing our pup Mia to Canine Corner since she was 4 months old, and after 4 amazing years, we’re moving out of state and sadly saying goodbye. Finding Canine Corner was one of the best things that happened to us as pet parents. Mia is a double-coated dog, and not every groomer knows how to handle that, but Jorden and the team are truly experts. She always came home looking perfect, happy, and well cared for.

Massage therapist did a great job! She really focused on my tight and tense areas, including spots I didn’t even realize were causing pain. After the session, my sinuses also felt more open and were able to drain better. Highly recommend!

I have a couple of mild to moderate degenerative spine conditions exacerbated by injury and was gifted a massage for my birthday. Ash S was my therapist and did an excellent job both in terms of having a breadth of knowledge and in performing the actual massage. It was the perfect amount of pressure and he worked in conjunction with my breath with intuition..I already feel better. Thanks to Ash and the team. I will be back!

Fantastic experience with Ashley for my post meniscus surgery rehabilitation. All of the staff are great, but for me, Ashley was a standout. She was very interested in resolving my persistent foot pain that ultimately resulted in a faster recovery of my knee! I highly recommend this practice for 1:1 customized rehabilitation.
We have had the pleasure of working with two amazing therapists at Adler Therapy Group. Our son sees Jacie for speech therapy and Davah for Occupational therapy. We are so pleased with the progress we have seen in our son in just the few short months he has been working with them. Great experience. I went in for therapy on a dislocated shoulder. I had a lot of rotator and bicep pain, weakness and muscle loss. I now have full range of motion, am able to pull myself up into my truck. I still have some strength training to continue but I'm able to lift light weights. Awesome staff, professional, knowledgeable and fun as well. From check in through the whole process was smooth and they treat you like a person and not just another number. If I have any issues in the future I would definitely use Athletico Physical Therapy in Chesapeake.

This hospital is the best hospital in the area. They go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and communicate with you every step of the way. From the Dr's to Nurses and all the other staff. They made my surgery stress free and the facility is clean.
My last session with Ms. Briyanna G was very nice. She is quiet but, don’t let that fool you she is quite skilled in her art of getting you where you need to be. I look forward to my next session!

While my previous review was accurate, I wanted to reevaluate my review. I am an almost 40 year old first time driver. It took me some time to get someone to help me but I'll tell ya I'm glad I held out for Fuhrmann. I was nervous going into it but my instructor was very calm and helpful while driving. I feel super confident that upon finishing the behind the wheel sessions I will be a great driver. Ty so much for going out of your way to help me!
My teen just finished his behind-the-wheel with Teresa. Right from the first hello, she was warm and kind and immediately created a comfortable learning environment. Every day he came back smiling, sharing their route and all they worked on. She was positive, encouraging, and diligently emphasized safety. This was a wonderful experience and I can't recommend her enough.
