“Krista cut my sister's hair yesterday. Sister is in from out of town and this was a last minute appointment. My sister has some areas of thinning hair, so it's challenging to give her a good hair cut. Krista cut and styled her hair to flatter her and give the impression of more fullness. She was careful to talk about what my sister wanted, before getting started. I used to get my hair done by Justine for years in Boston and when she told me she was moving to Virgina Beach I was quite sad. After trying 2 other colorist in Boston I called Justine and asked if she can squeeze me in in 2 days. She was flexible and able to make this short time line work! Yes I booked a flight and flew to her, let me tell you it was worth the travel! Justine is knowledgeable about color theory, balayage, highlights, blonds and I'm sure many other areas. She listens and chats through what I am looking for to ensure what gets done perfectly suits my hair, skin tone and makes me feel like my best self. The final result is absolutely stunning! My hair color is blond, exactly what I envisioned, and it looks so natural and healthy. My hair not only looks incredible, but it also feels incredibly healthy and soft. Justine uses high-quality products and knows how to care for color-treated hair. Justine perfectly blended highlights, vibrant color with subtle dimension. All of my appointments with Justine she has made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable. She is professional, friendly, and explained everything throughout the process. I feel completely confident in he expertise and appreciated their willingness to answer all my questions. This was my first time visiting Salt Hair Collective and this salon is beautiful, clean, trendy, has a great vibe, uses great products and is bright. The ladies that run this salon know what they are doing and I would recommend this spot. Overall, I cannot recommend Justine highly enough.
