Sentara Therapy Center - Blocker YMCA offers a range of services and treatments, including aquatic therapy, burn garment measurements, Graston technique, hand therapy, kinesio taping, manual physical therapy, massage therapy, McKenzie therapy, myofascial release, S.A.F.E. Fall Prevention Program, and vestibular therapy. Located within the Blocker YMCA in downtown Norfolk, the center provides physical and occupational therapy services for back and neck pain and other orthopedic injuries affecting the legs, shoulders, hips, elbows, and hands. Clients have praised the friendly and efficient receptionist, as well as the wonderful therapy staff who go above and beyond in their care. The center has received positive feedback, with one client particularly highlighting the impressive work ethic and experience of the staff.
I had the absolute best physical therapist, Mrs. Huma Shamsi, she is very attentive and genuinely concerned about her clients health. Huma has gone above and beyond to accommodate my therapeutic care. I really appreciate you and the staff at Sentara Therapy Center - Blocker YMCA.

Nothing but great things to say about working with the staff. You can tell that they all love what they do, they like working there and they work well as a team to help provide the best treatment for their patients.
I appreciate Austin's level of attention and concern for my particular issue and the willingness to really understand my goals and develop an individual plan. I did not feel like just a standard protocol was being thrown at me. Too bad it had to end! I wish I could have kept going. However, I have the tools now to continue independently on my own.
