I have been a Mares customer for almost 10 years now and have never had a bad service experience or a unsatisfied work need. From the ownership down to the techs and office support, all have been excellent and they genuinely make you feel as a valuable member of their business. Among the techs I have had, Chris DeBoer has stood out time and time again. Diligence, knowledge and competence are his hallmarks. They need to clone about 4 more of him.

I accidentally damaged the control lines to my AC unit and called the company who installed it for the repair. About $1,900 later ( replaced wires and did some unit cleaning), the AC would not come on. Keep in mind, the unit worked perfectly before I damaged the wires. I was told I needed a new zoning control board to fix the AC, another $4,200.
Thank goodness I called Mares for a 2nd opinion. They came the next day and quickly discovered the first company had forgotten to reinstall the outside temp sensor. That was quickly resolved, and then the Mares technician realized the new wiring was done incorrectly. My temp sensor was replaced, wiring corrected and- for no charge- he cleaned my furnace filters. Total bill was less than $500. The technician was honest, generous with his time, and cared about fixing my system correctly at a fair price. I am a Mares AC customer for life.
The ladies at this hair salon know what they are talking about! Tyna does my hair here, and I’m very satisfied with how it turned out. I love how much she truly listens to me as a client instead of doing her own thing (what I’ve experienced with past hairdressers). Don’t walk- run to go get your hair done here!
My is the best woman I have ever gone to for my hair, she takes good care of me and is amazing at conversations. I love her to death. After moving to Hampton and being far away from our other vet, I decided to check out veterinary clinics nearby. Came across Poquoson Vet Hospital and boy am I glad I did! From the first interaction of making an appointment to actually coming in for the first visit was a pleasant experience!I brought our dog Tucker to this facility and they welcomed us with warm smiles and pleasant demeanors. Tucker is usually hesitant to go to the vet but he walked right in and was friendlier than usual! After a brief registration, we were taken back to the room. I cannot recall the vet tech's name but she was awesome with Tucker, very friendly and calm.We were greeted by Dr. Williams and he came in the same way, introduced himself and gave Tucker all the attention he deserved! Very knowledgeable and approachable, which is hard to find now a days!I would highly recommend if in the area. Staff was pleasant, quick appointments and very quick to get in for an appointment!

Recently had my roof replaced by Reliance. They did a phenomenal job! The crew worked just about til dark to get the job done and clean up everything. The roof looks great. It was a disaster before but now it is solid and beautiful!
Ragan is truly a professional! I went to see her for my first spray tan ever. I was a bit nervous because I never had one before and I'm naturally very pale. She walked me through the whole process and answered all of my hundreds of questions 😅 She even accommodated me when I asked if it would be possible to do a test run and spray a small area to see if I would have a reaction since I have sensitive skin. She is so sweet! I've been sprayed by her twice now and each tan came out beautifully! I will continue to see her for special occasions! Thank you so much, Ragan!

I walked in without an appointment looking for a new hairdresser that could work with layers and Erin had a 30 minute window right then so I jumped on it. It has been 2 months since my last haircut and I think it's going to be a good fit. She listened to everything I had to say and ask me questions all during the haircut We'll see how it looks over the next week or so but I'm so far I'm impressed.
My fourth try in town for a quality haircut and I finally found it! I don't judge my haircuts on how they look when I walk out of the salon, but whether or not I can make it look nice on my own, on my schedule. Owner and stylist Mitzi grasped what I wanted and knew how to cut my wavy hair for a wash and wear cut. She has high standards, a great work ethic, and I will be returning to her shop. Make an appointment, though : the door says walk-ins welcome, but she's currently running the shop by herself.

I had an appointment to get my nails done with V. She obviously takes a lot of pride in her work and it shows! There's a few extras. For instance, a wonderful hand massage! Prices are very reasonable, great atmosphere and very clean. I've been several times and I will be returning!

They do a great job here! All the ladies are welcoming and kind. I don’t usually get manicures but i was so happy with my nails the 1st visit that i came back 2 weeks later to get them redone, the polish never even chipped, my nails just grew. I did gel polish and their pricing is very reasonable! I plan to come back regularly:)
I just have to say I received excellent customer service from this fabulous floral shop, they make such beautiful arrangements in a timely fashion and I highly recommend them for any event

Nathan gave me the best pedicure I think I’ve ever had! He was so detail oriented, took his time, made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Absolutely 10/10! Will return specifically to see him!
