I took my 7 year old to see Derek. My son hates getting his hair cut and I'm not going to lie this was no different. When he sees himself with shorter hair he just gets upset. As a mom I can say Derek was fantastic. He took so much time and care with him and gave him an amazing cut. my son was moving all over the place, looking everywhere but where he was supposed to and Derek guided him with so much patience. I know he must've been gutted to see my child's reaction but I really want him to know he did an amazing job and we love the hair cut.

Had shellac polish today. I don't get my nails done often, this was for a special occasion. They listened to my needs and answered my questions all before my appointment started. I have one nail in particular that is split down the middle all the way to the cuticle and hasn't taken shellac/gel well in the past. Their advice was helpful and they didn't try to up-sell me but rather did what was best for this nail. They said they would need to use a drill and asked permission, I expressed hesitation because I've had a bad experience with other salons. I asked for a gentle and light touch and that's exactly what I got, they weren't rough nor did they use the drill for very long. Throughout the manicure they checked to see if I was happy with it, which I was. I would definitely go back!

I had an amazing lash lift and tint with Mandy. She did such an amazing job giving my lashes a perfect curl - not to mention her attention to detail was exceptional. Mariia was my skin tech and she did a wonderful job assessing my skin. Recommended many products to help treat my peri-oral dermatitis though I did not purchase any as I am working with a dermatologist and only using doctor-prescribed products for now. But she added items to my file for future when I am ready to add other skincare to my routine. The whole experience was very nice. I was able to hang out in the ten spa lounge and have a snack prior to treatment and the ambiance is very nice.

After doing some renovations, our kitchen sweep system was no longer functional, and we left it for a few years, missing the use of our Vacuflo system. Jefferson was very friendly when we popped into their office and our service professional, John was amazing. Super knowledgeable, needing to think outside the box a bit to get our system up and running again. He kindly offered to add a new outlet in our basement as well, and it was done same day (schedule permitting, lucky for us). Karlie was super helpful and responsive as well.

My 10 year old dryer stopped working the previous evening, I called the next morning and they sent a service technician to my place by the afternoon. The technician found the problem, fixed the issue quickly, clearly explained the repair and what caused the issue. They also accepted credit card payment in person. We have dealt with RF appliance twice now (through whirlpool), and both experiences have been absolutely amazing. Not only were both of their employees incredibly nice and knowledgeable, they also gave us a call before coming (as we had requested), which was a huge help!
We had dealt with a nightmare of an experience trying to get our oven fixed with another appliance repair company (also through whirlpool), which had taken close to two months and resulted in our oven still not being fixed. RF appliance repair was then assigned to the job, came in, diagnosed and repaired our oven in less than a week!
We are so grateful for how efficiency and professional RF appliance was with us that we will certainly be going through them after our warranty is finished with our appliances. Highly recommend this company for appliance repair!

Our association with Handy Hands began in 2009 when they added insulation to the attic and knee walls and then replaced the shingles, facia and soffits on our house and garage. Over the years since that date they have completed: new siding on the house and garage, full gut and update of the kitchen, bathroom, den and master bedroom. In our yard they erected a shed, repaired the gazebo and built a made to measure raised garden. For all of these jobs they were superb. They displayed excellent workmanship, courtesy and professionalism. For the first job, we got 3 quotes and although theirs was not the lowest theirs was the most complete which eliminated the unexpected comments such as "this will cost extra" Now we just call them when ever we need work done because we know their quotes are fair and reasonable and we know that we can depend on them!

All our questions and requests were received with no pushback,and since our kitchen has very recently been renovated there was a very clear understanding that we felt only the necessary adjustments were needed. The actual installation required coordination of the various trades, which was done with communication via CoConstruct for messaging. The craftsman who installed and adjusted as per our requests was very professional and done with great attention to detail.

We contacted Frank from ProMax to look at our bedroom furniture that had some damage from our recent move and damage on one of our nightstands. He came in said that he could help and make it look good and not such an eyesore. Well, he did and his son, Max, did an awesome job. If they couldnât fix it, they would have let us know. If you have some furniture that needs to be repaired, donât hesitate. It will cost you but you wonât be disappointed. Unless they do a complete strip of the wood, it will never be 100%. The great thing is I didnât have to do it myself.

In looking for an exterminator to inspect a property my boyfriend and I are looking to rent, we called several pest services in hopes of getting someone qualified as soon as possible. We had been left hanging by the other exterminators we called (based off their great reviews) who dropped all communication when they heard we likely only needed an inspection for mice. Luckily we heard a few great reviews about Marcus from Active Pest Control. We were able to get an inspection much sooner and at a fraction of the cost the other companies quoted.Marcus was friendly, incredibly knowledgable and thorough, and addressed all of our many questions and concerns. He was very professional, and helped identify current and future vulnerabilities, what we could do to fix them, recommended products, and educated us on mouse behaviours, patterns, and prevention. Overall, we felt he went above and beyond for the inspection, and that we received fair, honest, quality help that was not dependent on purchasing additional extermination services. Penner Trees removed 6 big trees for us. These trees were located in a tight space between our house and our fence with our neighbour. They removed all trees without damaging our or neighbourâs property. You could see they have a team of well-trained individuals who prioritize safety, and show care to your property while working in it. This was a tough job and they took an extra day to finish it safely.
They completed the work as communicated and as quoted. They didnât try to charge extra during or after the work was completed.
During the work they were very professional, kind and they communicated through the process.
After the work was completed they showed me pictures of potential damages they might have caused. These damages were known to me, so it was fine.
All in all, we are very happy with the service we received. We recommend them to our friends and family. We hope we wonât need to remove more trees but we will certainly call Eddie and his team if we have to remove more trees.

Dr. John is the one to see if you have chronic pain. Massage and Physio will only go so far. A skilled chiropractor like Dr. John, combined with the later will have you seeing results. Highly recommend this practice if you want to feel mobile and pain free.
Amanda is the greatest massage therapist. I tried so many, before I found Amanda. She is great, has great hands, very professional, very knowledgeable and very honest. Never cut time. I always feel relaxed and relieved, less pain. I just worry now, that she is more booked up and it's not easy to do appointment with her. I definitely recommend her!

The most amazing environment. It always lifts me up! Dr. Randy is gifted at adjustment. I have seen many chiropractors... they don't compare! It's overall healing here. My spine is moving more like it should now. I had a lot of health issues before I became a regular here. It feels great to focus on spinal health and more! I have been coming here for years and Sean Shapiro has always resolved any injuries i show up with. Always wanting to make sure im feeling better. Its important to mention this is the only place ive been too that does not charge to tape up any trouble spots on my body. I've been to numerous other places that charged an extra $20 just to use athletic tape. Thats a huge advantage alone choosing Chirocare. Great place.
Absolutely incredible place. My chiropractor Rob has helped me heal from so many migraines and back aches. His education and knowledge of the body is evident in his treatment. Rob always listens and work with you in the process so you feel you understand what is going on. I love the location of this place also, no need to drive downtown! Dr. Barb did a very thorough examination on me and then was able to tell me exaclty what was going on and why I was feeling so crappy. She was able to adjust me and relieve the stress and pain I was dealing with.
I felt a sense of comfort and sincerty in the care I received.

The staff and Dr Ruhlan were top notch , we knew it was going to cost a lot but the staff was very persistent on getting to the bottom of what ailed Jackson as it looked like his days were numbered! We didn't have to wait days or weeks as he was taken in immediately and was under the watchful eye of Dr Ruhan!!!He's doing much better and I want to thank Dakota Vet for all that you do!
Thank you Dr.Brar and staff so much. I brought my kitty in a month ago with a fever, not eating and breathing problems. You were all so kind and so helpful. You all took such good care of her, sent us home with everything needed. By the end of the next day her fever had come down, and two days after that she was back to eating meals and playing. After completing all the medications she was back to normal and she (and her sisters) loved the special food needed. Thank you all so much!
Our dog first went to Dr Warb when we were out of town and a family member brought him in due to an emergency. Since moving back to Winnipeg we take both of our dogs there. We regularly take our dogs to see Dr Worb, but have seen Dr Green and Dr Paquin. All of the vets are knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. All of them answer all of our questions and create a solid step by step action plan anytime one of our pets has health issues that need to be worked on. The techs and front desk are also incredibly kind and helpful.
Our oldest has recently had some serious challenges and we feel confident moving forward into the unknown as we know Dr Worb will guide us towards what is best for our boy every step of the way. If you're unsure where to take your beloved pets, call and make an appointment immediately.

Reception and medical staff are always friendly, thorough with their examinations and really take the time to explain medical issues so that you fully understand what is going on with your pets. well i must say i was very nervous comin in ,staff was fantastic. Spencer had a paw injury they showed me what they were doin and my anxiety went to almost zero. We have a new fur baby who is having tummy troubles and we were worried. I called HAH and spoke with Kendra who was absolutely lovely. She got Clover in the same day. We saw Dr. Singh who did a thorough exam and explained everything to us. He reassured us the Clover was ok and went through options for treating her issue. He also suggested a Tech shows us some grooming practices to keep Clover healthy. I canât remember the Techâs name but they were also wonderful. All the staff treated Clover (and us) with kindness and patience.

Found Wizard of Paws when one of the outside self service dog washers was out of order. I placed the order and within minutes Megan messaged us with all the details we needed to access the wash room. She met us onsite and was super friendly and professional, walking us through how to use all of the equipment before leaving us to it. All of the equipment worked perfectly, with instant hot water, an array of cleaning equipment and not forgetting shampoo and conditioner. The drying machine worked quicker than a regular hair drier and beats anything Iâve tried before. We didnât even need to tidy up as Megan reassured us she would take care of it all. All in all, it was a great experience and one we will definitely be repeating! Thank you Megan. Complete five star service!
We had a great experience for our dogs first pamper. Read many reviews elsewhere and was disturbed by some of them so we chose Barks n Bubbles. Owner is a 100 percent dog lover so you'll know your dog is in good hands. I would highly recommend Barks n Bubbles without any worries.
We love Classy Clips! I have a cocker spaniel that we let get scruffy then trim him up pretty short. This has been our routine for a long time and it works for us. Weâve been coming for a few years now and Iâve tried others places before coming here that made me feel bad for letting him get scruffy. Everyone here is so kind and Iâve never felt one ounce of judgement. The way it should be! They giggle when he comes in looking all scruffy and do a fantastic job! If you want to go somewhere that does an amazing job with the friendliest people, go to Classy Clips!

I started at Studio 26 in February of 2024! Previous injuries from sports have plagued me into my mid 30âs.. I started small with Yin Yoga and 1-hour hot Yoga sessions. As an avid golfer I wanted to improve my range of motion. Yin was a fantastic introduction to the club- which by the way, everyone is so friendly and welcoming the minute you walk in the door. Iâve been seeing Brad for a little bit now, but today session really stood out because of the extreme shape I was in, and also because of how regularly tuned Brad is. So, I felt it best to chime in. Something I donât feel comfortable doing as an introvert.
Brad being a consistent friendly professional, is very knowledgeable and attuned to my needs. I didnât realize how bad I left things until his healing hands found all the things that needed attention. It was intense to find things that I didnât know were there until the massage began. It was humbling, and also a safe space. I was in exceptional hands. Historically, I wasnât a massage person. I was always hesitated over the years about professionals putting their hands on me for a massage. I would go, then quit. Because I can handle it. Ha! Brad has been the exception. He stuck because the results quieted my stubbornness. My body did the talking as did the effectiveness of Bradâs skills. He also didnât judge if I missed a few months. There was comfort in going at my pace.
Today was an intense session. I was in a lot of pain coming in, and yet I felt I floated out of there. Iâm super cozy in bed writing this review in awe of Bradâs healing work. Highly recommend. Another appointment has need booked, and Iâm looking forward to seeing what else Brad has in store for me, and my healing journey.

I decided to try acupuncture for left shoulder blade and inner forearm issue. My shoulder blade issue was pretty much gone after 1 treatment! The forearm took 3 other treatments for the numbness I was feeling. All is great after 4 treatments. Highly recommended!
