“The staff here are amazing! I’ve always been an animal lover and pet owner and have been purchasing goods and services from this locations for years. My fur-babies love everything this place has to offer ❤ Zero complaints about any of the staff, service or policies.
That being said, I am so surprised to see a negative review posted recently by a woman (Susan) who lacks time management skills and isn’t taking accountability for herself and blames the store.
She was late to her appt and called to let the store know - When did she call to say that she would be late? It wasn’t over 48 hours (per their policy which SHE provided a photo of) obviously. She likely arrived over 15 minutes past her appt time, which per the policy means that she may need to reschedule - which is what happened. No one to blame but herself there…
Thrusting blame onto a business who, proven by her own photos, reached out afterwards to try and resolve any issue that may have been had, instead of just owning up to her own mistake is ridiculous. And to post the employees personal phone number — absolutely abhorrent! Susan should be ashamed of herself as that is a breach of privacy so feel free to report that review based solely on that!
That being said, should the staff had mentioned the late fee when she arrived that? Yes - BUT, maybe they did and she isn’t saying as it makes her look even worse.
Everything in her entire review just screams that she is entitled and lacks accountability.
Again, I have been a client here for years and years and haven’t ever had any issues with anyone here and was VERY surprised to see a negative review so thought I would stand up for what’s right.

“I had ordered a delivery item through door dash and what was sent ended up being the wrong thing. The staff at the store went above and beyond to fix the issue and personally delivered the right item (something they offered to do unprompted). Mistakes happen - but I really appreciate the effort to make it right! Well beyond what I would have expected.“

“Ordered a dog wading pool online and went to pick up in store. The cashier couldn't find the slip even though the pool was sitting right there and I pointed to it, she couldn't process without the pull slip and she said I'd have to pay for it. I said it's already been paid for so she went to get the manager and long story short he had already pulled it and just failed to put the slip in the right place so the cashier couldn't find it. So the pool I pointed to was actually mine and the manager had just made it confusing by not filing the slip. Not a huge deal and everyone was polite and helpful, I will be back and I visit this and other PetSmart locations semi-regularly.“

“We had a great experience for our dogs first pamper. Read many reviews elsewhere and was disturbed by some of them so we chose Barks n Bubbles. Owner is a 100 percent dog lover so you'll know your dog is in good hands. I would highly recommend Barks n Bubbles without any worries.“

“I really enjoyed our experience at the Fort Garry Veterinary Hospital! Everyone was so kind and patient with Winnie. She can be very nervous and stressed at the vet, but they took the time to make sure she was comfortable and adjusted the appointment based on how she was reacting. “Found Wizard of Paws when one of the outside self service dog washers was out of order. I placed the order and within minutes Megan messaged us with all the details we needed to access the wash room. She met us onsite and was super friendly and professional, walking us through how to use all of the equipment before leaving us to it. All of the equipment worked perfectly, with instant hot water, an array of cleaning equipment and not forgetting shampoo and conditioner. The drying machine worked quicker than a regular hair drier and beats anything I’ve tried before. We didn’t even need to tidy up as Megan reassured us she would take care of it all. All in all, it was a great experience and one we will definitely be repeating! Thank you Megan. Complete five star service!“

“Pedro was the greatest companion of my life, animal and human. So I didn’t take his veterinary care lightly. My cat Shalom was a patient at Anderson Animal Hospital & Wellness Center and received exceptional care, and when I returned to Winnipeg after some years in Calgary, Pedro became a patient too.

From 2009 until 2026, I placed Pedro’s healthcare in the hands of Dr. Worb and later Dr. Paquin. In the last three years of his life, they helped guide me through what quality of life actually looks like for a senior dog.

Pedro and I had monthly appointments in his final couple of years: Librela shots for osteoarthritis, nail trims, the whole routine. The support team and technicians were superb. They gave me the information I needed, ordered in special food, and made it clear they understood exactly how much my dog meant to me.

Pedro lived for 19 years, seven months, and 15 days.

Dr. Paquin and Dr. Worb helped me keep the promise I’d made to myself: that I would always put my dog’s best interests ahead of my own need to hold onto him. Losing him was one of the most painful experiences of my life, and I miss him terribly. But I know his exit was peaceful and pain-free.

I’m lucky to have had him for so long. I credit that to good genes, and to the care he got at Anderson.“
