I went in last week in search of a minor touch up from a previous piece - not a glamorous or exciting ask but the staff were very helpful and willing to accommodate. Ely got me in the next day and did an amazing job. Everyone at the shop was great and if I get work done
in the future I’ll head back to Kapala.
I just completed a large custom piece with Tyler Alderson at Kapala Tattoo and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I came in with a fairly ambitious concept that combined Megatron and a TIE Advanced x1, and Tyler took the time to work through the design, offer ideas, and create something that flowed naturally with my arm and shoulder rather than simply reproducing reference images.
Throughout the process, Tyler was professional, patient, and incredibly detail-oriented. Communication was excellent, the studio environment was welcoming, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations.

Been getting tattooed by Chris Olson (master of Black work tattoos I would say) for a few years now, he always likes to take on projects I send his way from filling up my arm with the awkward gaps I had, and now he just completed a full sleeve on my other arm. He took the time to plan out a whole design, free hand sketching designs and helping come up with ideas that will look pretty cool.
Took us a few months to complete, but even during the process so many people were asking me who did my tattoos and who I see cause they were already loving what they saw.
