“I rarely leave online reviews, but I want to really commend Sykes Electric. I recently moved into an older home and was dismayed to discover knob and tube wiring, not noticed by my inspector, behind many of the light switches and fixtures. Lisa from Sykes came and inspected the situation, went over what needed to be done, and then Sean and his team came to do the work. They brought a team of four, working 8am-4pm, for three days to rewire all of the light fixtures and switches, add hardwired smoke detectors, and install several new outlets that I requested. They made the place comfortable for me to come home to at the end of each day, placing extension cords where needed, and patched and sanded all of the holes in the walls. From my initial email to Sykes, to the work being finished, the whole process took less than a week and a half. Sykes gave me piece of mind and made a potentially very stressful situation seem easy --- and for them, it is, they specialize in exactly this work. They also handled all of the permits with the city and Lisa did the walk through with the city inspector to close the permit. I honestly can't praise them enough.“
