The quote process was one of the things I appreciated most. It was broken down clearly, so I knew exactly what was included. When Ash came out, he actually got up on the roof to have a proper look instead of just estimating everything from the ground. He answered all of my questions honestly, never made me feel pressured, and helped me feel confident that I was making the right decision.

The project was done in two parts, with the roof completed first and the soffit, fascia, eavestroughs, and downspouts done on another day. Both crews showed up on time, worked hard, and managed to stay ahead of the rain, which was impressive.

Communication was great the whole way through. If I had a question, I always got a quick response and was kept in the loop.

The cleanup was also excellent. They were very thorough around my property, and I really appreciated that they even checked with my neighbours to make sure nothing had blown into their yards. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, polite, and respectful.

They put in long hours to complete both projects in a timely manner and they're careful to be considerate of noise for neighboring homes (eg keeping the air compressor in the garage to muffle the sound a bit). I was contacted back, and they came out and fixed my eaves. They have changed how they install the downspouts, and I am much happier now.

Do not recommend. After forgetting about me they finally booked a day for install. I booked the day off work so I could be present for the install, however they showed up a day early. The work is shoddy at best. They cut small holes for the downspouts and attached the downspouts with a single screw some barely holding anything. It has been less than 2 years and I have had ice back up under my shingles due to poor drainage and downspouts fall off. Will have to redo less than 2 years in“

“Great experience. Early June 2026: we inquired about replacing shingles (it was time, after 20 years the whole roof looked pretty rough), and the manager responded the next business day. He arranged to see us within 2 days' time, and after making some recommendations, took less than an hour to give us a detailed estimate that included a couple of options (we'd have been happy with receiving something the next day or so - getting one done so quickly was a real bonus!). Price was very reasonable. Work was started just over a week later and was completed over 2 days. Thankfully no repair was needed, so no extra costs. Late June now and we just had our first couple of days of super heavy rain, and no issues - perfect!

The crew was very polite and friendly, and cleaned up everything neat & tidy. Also our house is really close to our neighbour's on one side, and there was no mess or damage to his property whatsoever. Just as an aside, the heat was REALLY bad for both of those days, but still the guys worked as cheerfully and quickly as if it had been a breezy autumn day. Real troopers!! Definitely recommend.“

He was prompt in returning calls and emails as well as courteous in answering our questions and addressing any concerns we had regarding product choices, warranty information, pricing, etc. Cole took the time to provide us with the level of service we were looking for and even went to bat for us in terms of pricing the job as competitively as possible, seeing as we had received a few other quotes and were down to it being between Chateau and one other company.In the end we chose the other company however I have no problem whatsoever recommending Chateau to anyone looking for a company to tackle their roofing and/or siding projects. And although I certainly didn't have to write this review, given that we didn't choose them, I felt it appropriate to comment on how positive the experience was nonetheless.
