Context: I have curly hair, and I went from hair to my shoulders (with some chaotic old layers), to the cleanest, best bob! I wanted to retain length, and I achieved the new look with only having about an inch trimmed. It was the perfect cut.

I’ve only in Maryland for a couple months and I needed a haircut for my son for a picture day the next day. I was able to call and get an appointment fast. All I did was show him the picture of what my son wanted and he did exactly that. He looks so adorable. We are both happy with the results. We will be back.

I am new to the area, and found Will online, He was amazing, very receptive of what I wanted, very accommodating, and very on time, often times when i set an appointment i still have to wait, i waited no longer then 5 minutes before I was in the chair, getting the best cut I have gotten in a long time. I will 100% be going back, and its great to have found a new barber so quick in my move!!! 5 stars isn't enough.
King is literally one of the best barbers around Frederick county area, and his prices are quite reasonable. If you're looking for top-notch service, you can't go wrong with him. Alex was phenomenal, and went above and beyond for my 3-year-old son’s first haircut experience. Despite my son moving frequently, and being upset at the clippers, Alex was patient and gave him the best first experience and a haircut that looks fantastic. He showed my son each tool before using, used it on himself to show that it wouldn’t hurt, and offered to let my son hold everything first. Alex adjusted himself to my son when he wouldn’t sit still, got him tissues and a lollipop to help comfort him, and at one point even used his own cell phone to put on an episode of Bluey. Alex communicated with me throughout to ask questions and offer suggestions to adjust the haircut to my son’s tolerance, while still giving him a great haircut in the style I wanted. I’ve never had a barber in my past be so good to me, let alone my son. I can’t praise and thank Alex enough, he did awesome and my son looks great! The shop was clean, the staff were all friendly, booking online was easy, the appointment was ready on-time, and the haircut was great. Highly recommend!
I live right down the street. I typically walk in all of the barbers there always give me a good fade and touch up my beard. They normally have the news or a sports game on. The place is clean and reasonably priced and the barbers are friendly.
Rob is the best, he always takes his time and makes sure I’m happy with the cut. Rob will get you right and give you a fire cut. He will give you exactly what you want and uses skill and precision.

Love this place. After my first time when I happened to go there just because I was in the parking lot - my wife and daughter had gone to the farmer’s market beside the furniture store next door. I have only come here since then. 2 years and over a dozen haircuts later, I still love it.

This is a well run location where the employees are sons of the friendliest around - they have a great attitude and enjoy working there.
The place is clean and the beds work like they are supposed to. I have an issue with their time restrictions on each bed and the 24 hour between tans. It would seem that as an adult if I wanted 14 minutes instead of 12 that I should be able to decide that. But this seems to be a franchise rule so don’t fault the employees who are great.

Eleezia is awesome! The way she shapes and files my toenails is perfect! I also had a gel polish I needed removed from my fingernails after a wedding. Every other nail tech I have been to has destroyed my natural nails to remove gel polish. Not only did she remove it without any marks on my nails but she applied REGULAR polish afterwards that has lasted almost two weeks! I highly recommend Eleezia for any of your nail services, she is truly the best I have ever been to.
First picture is May 5th and second is May 25th. I had an amazing experience with K-Nails in Frederick. I was looking for Korean Style nails because they focus more heavily on nail care and neat designs. She also told me she was originally certified in New York before she moved here so you KNOW she’s good. It’s been 3 weeks and there’s no peeling and all my gems are still on! Most importantly, the edges between my nails and polish don’t pull my hair when I touch it :) All of this is a result of not cutting corners and solid handiwork. Thank you!!!

Kaytlin was able to save me from an unfortunate start to IBE extensions due to another artist in my home state. She not only walked me through what went wrong, but where we could go from here. Her education, kindness, and patience are top notch and she truly went above and beyond to help me achieve getting my IBE extensions again. This will be the only place I will ever buy hair from and get my extensions installed and reinstalled with! Let me tell you that it is worth it to find a trustworthy salon who knows where they source their hair and have their clients best interest at heart! Also, their microwefts and installation are flawless! I will be coming back and getting new IBE hair and extensions with them as soon as I can! It pays in the long run (and will save you money) to find a trustworthy salon from the start, speaking from experience! I wish I had come here first because their hair and installation technique is flawless!

Ruth took the time to help me find the exact color I was seeking from an inspo photo, she was delicate and precise with my nails (my nail beds are pretty tiny by the way), she took her time ensuring my cuticles were in pristine condition before painting my nails- her attention to detail is top notch, and the cherry on top was she was just SO pleasant to speak to. The music was lovely and price for a gel mani was SO affordable/reasonable. Highly recommend. I will for sure be returning not just for my future manis/pedis, but super interested in their facials, as I’ve heard so many wonderful things about that service as well! For years I searched for the right place and finally found it. Sonja is beyond amazing with color. She is very knowledgable on the mixes. She advises based on the color for your skin tone but also on what exactly to use for your type of hair. She knows my preferences and advises me accordingly and each and every time I come out feeling like a million bucks! She does not rush her work. I appreciate the dedicated time and attention. While they relocated to Urbana, I am one of the loyal clients that drive all the way up there from Rockville/Potomac. Beyond Sonja, the staff are just amazingly welcoming and I love the creative decor. It feels like a nice escape from my regular routine.

I have been a member for a while. I did consider stopping for the summer months because of my schedule. I am Happy I didn’t because I am able to build up roll over visits which come in handy. I have tried several different people for massages and they are great. Nathan is my regular masseuse and he really works the knots out and releases the tension. The staff is amazing from the time I walk in until I leave. I am happy I have continued my membership and look forward to my next visit. You can’t go wrong with this place. I get a facial twice yearly with Laura and she does a wonderful treatment on my aged, Sun damaged skin (we didn't know better when we were growing up). I have some sensitivities like flowers smells and I told Laura and she worked on me without one itch or sneeze from me.....she goes above and beyond in a relaxing and peaceful way. Having a facial is such a treat! I think the rate is quite reasonable. The spa is on the north side of Rosemont Avenue and there is a parking lot in the back, so driving west on Rosemont take a right on Lee Place and left onto the alley. Wear comfy clothes and don't wash your hair beforehand since you'll need to do that later in the day. Just saying. Love you, Laura!
What can I say? Just amazing! I've gotten many full body massages but none of them compared to this. I got a hand massage, reflexology, facial, and a pedicure. I've never felt so pampered. Lori is very meticulous and I felt like each toe was getting its own attention and treatment. My toes look perfect! This sounds crazy but my feet look happy lol. I was even falling asleep during the reflexology. With the facial, it felt like my face was floating off my body. I will DEFINATELY be back and will recommend to others!
Came in for the first time for the Destress Trio - lovely experience! Salon & Spa are clean, welcoming, and with luxurious touches: clean robes and sandals, relaxation area for before and after treatment with beverages, and secure storage lockers for personal belongings. The staff I met seemed genuinely warm and friendly, truly proud to provide service. The masseuse managed to ease a tension I've had in my shoulder for weeks! I've been to three different spas in Frederick for massage, and Verbena is now firmly my favorite!

I've had my best tattooing experience at Blue Crab Tattoo, and I had the pleasure of working with Brad for both of my sessions. Each visit was wonderful, starting with a friendly introduction from the front desk and a relaxed environment. After I was checked in, Brad took plenty of time to discuss my design and find the look that I was looking for. To help the time pass by, he hooked me up with a Fire Stick so I could watch whatever I liked. All the while, he was laser-focused on making the artwork come to life. He is a true artist, and I plan on returning to Blue Crab Tattoo for future work.

O'Connor Plumbing was contacted due to an issue with my house plumbing that a smaller company couldn't resolve. It turned out there was / is a tree root that has broken a pipe under the house and has started growing inside the plumbing pipe.
Ken and Asher were the best. They were so professional, courteous, couthy, they explained what they were doing, and they cleaned up the mess when they were done. I am so grateful for workers like this. They've cleared a portion of the the problem with the machines and tools they had readily available. We will be scheduling for them to return to finish removing the tree root. Thanks, Ken and Asher.

I didn't have hot water for 2 weeks and the water heater was only 1 year old. I had Waltz come out to install a kitchen faucet (which they did very well) and asked them to also fix this issue--they only suggested a register to heat the outdoor storage closet where the water heater is kept. Bryan with Larry & Sons solved it in less than 15 minutes...the mixing valve was turned all the way down. They are absolutely my go to plumber now!
My kids threw a toy into the toilet and kept using it - needless to say we needed a professional to fix it! Murphy Plumbing came right away. They were extremely professional, explained everything along the way, and were very tolerant of all the kids standing there asking questions as he worked. We hired Molly Maid for a deep clean while preparing our townhome for the market, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
One of the biggest surprises was the value. Our deep clean was approximately $300, while other companies quoted us closer to $800 for the same service. I was nervous it would be a “you get what you pay for” situation, but the quality of the work far exceeded our expectations.
I also loved the AI text service during the booking process. It allowed me to list everything I wanted cleaned without feeling like I was being a burden or asking for too much, and I immediately understood what was included in the service.
When the cleaning team arrived, they headed straight to the top floor and got right to work. It was obvious they were experienced professionals and a well-oiled machine. They needed very little direction, worked efficiently, and were incredibly kind, respectful, and quiet throughout the day.

They could not have been more helpful. Very large selection of all kinds of flooring. It was so helpful to me that the flooring I was considering was actually installed in the store floor so I could really see what it looked like in the light. They answered all my questions, offered some andvice on installation, and let me take samples home to make my final decision. It was in stock, they loaded my car and even made sure the 12 ft long molding was fastened so it would not be damaged ( it had to hang out a window of my little car).

We had great work done by Capital properties. Joey and Jazmine did so much to help us with our insurance company and the 2 other companies (solar and gutter filter) we needed to coordinate with to get our roof replaced. From meeting the appraiser who came to check the damage to coordinating to remove solar panels and leaf filters then finally adding a complete new gutter system prior to our filter company reinstalling the filters. Hail storm damage was found to have caused a leak on our 14 year roof on the Ryan home. All of this was done costing us only our deductible. We are very thankful!

If I could give Talon Construction more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the very beginning, the entire team was professional, coordinated, and incredibly knowledgeable. They somehow turned what is typically a very stressful process into a smooth and collaborative one.
We interviewed nine contractors before choosing Talon for what started as a three-bathroom and kitchen renovation and ultimately evolved into a full gut renovation of our home. Talon stood out immediately as the most professional and detail-oriented team we met.
We first connected with Darren in 2023, and his depth of knowledge was apparent from the beginning. He pointed out practical design considerations and code requirements that other contractors had missed. We went back and forth on the scope for over a year, and he was consistently patient, responsive, and generous with his time. He never rushed us and always made himself available to answer questions.
We started construction in August 2025-- The construction crew had an excellent work ethic. They arrived early and worked hard - something even our neighbors commented on. They took pride in their work and paid close attention to details. The workmanship was just excellent. The work site was consistently clean and organized.
They did a great job at handling unexpected situations and communicating that to me. Eddie took the time to explain everything thoroughly before moving forward. Even when we made scope changes, they were flexible and incorporated those changes without making it feel stressful or complicated.
And probably the thing that impressed me the most was that they ran the whole project with integrity. They uncovered an improperly vented dryer which was a fire hazard and promptly brought it up to code. There were other moments like this throughout the project- too many to fully capture here – that consistently reinforced how much they value doing things the right way.
I have to mention Eddie who was incredible throughout the entire process. He was calm, responsive and communicated clearly. He seriously made the entire project enjoyable.
They were fair and transparent when it came to pricing and change orders. But more than anything, what I appreciated the most was their integrity, professionalism and genuinely caring about doing a good job. Everyone- Ed, Paul, Darren, Eddie and the construction crew were top notch.

Bartlett Tree Experts have provided us with truly great (expert) service on multiple occasions. Arborist Derek Furry knows his stuff well as he assessed the trees and plants in our yard. Most recently, at a house we just bought, we needed a badly damaged large Norway Maple removed that towered over our house and garage; it had suffered fire damage years ago and was recently struck by lightning. We also needed density reduction and disease treatment for other distressed trees. The on-site crew (Donovan, Austin, Chilly and Sease) led by the very capable Colby worked diligently and efficiently. There's a reason this place has consistent 5* reviews.....it's superb. As someone who only recently tried a chiropractor i'm a convert. This is probably the first healthcare facility i've visited where you're treated like a human and not a meat-stick with a credit card. Dr. Schooley is extremely skilled, and the adjustment was very helpful. His diagnosis was far superior than any MD/DO who often draw a straight line from imaging to diagnosis. I will be advocating for friends and family to give it a try, prices are also super reasonable.

I've been a patient of Dr. Newman's since 2001. He is the best. He has provided excellent chiropractic care over those years, and has kept my spine in the proper alignment. After Dr. Newman retired, Dr. Clarence took over. He is wonderful. He spends a lot of time with each patient and is an excellent chiropractor. I won’t go anywhere else.
I have been seeing Dr. Cayer regularly for almost two years, and I am significantly better off with his treatment. I no longer have chronic, excruciating lower back pain. He has also helped me deal with injuries. His treatment for my arthritic hip is perfectly complementing the physical therapy exercises, reducing pain and helping make the joint work properly. He has also helped with carpal tunnel issues. (Seriously, if you suffer from carpal tunnel problems, see him before you undergo surgery!) Chiropractic care is a commitment - not every problem has a quick fix. Less pain and greater mobility are worth the commitment. Dr. Cayer is amazing!

I've been going to Dr. Lipinski for over a year and a half. I have arthritis in my neck and since having adjustments by him, I have no more issues with my neck!! Definitely a 5 star!!
I just had my first appointment with Dr Carly and to say I am impressed is an understatement. I have seen chiropractors before and the session today with Dr Carly was completely different than any of my previous experiences. Even though I went in for physical discomfort I left with a sense of calm and relaxation that I haven’t felt in years. Highly recommend Dr Carly and this practice!

I have seen Dr Beech for my ayurvedic pulse consultation. Such a service is very rarely offered as everything is online these days. Dr Beech was very accurate with my pulse diagnosis. He even pointed out a few things that he read from my pulse which I missed mentioning to him in my health history form. I am very happy that this treasured ayurvedic knowledge is well preserved by his practice and offered to his patients with high integrity.
My husband and I both see Dr. D. He’s super flexible and always makes time for us when we need it. Dr. D always takes the time to make sure we leave feeling better than when we came in. We moved to Hagerstown, but we still travel to Frederick for adjustments!

My husband has had several appointments with this practice. The physicians, both DrWarner and Dr To , are very skilled and knowledgeable. They take time to explain procedures and answer questions . Their surgical skills are remarkable. The PA and Medical Techs are diligent and show attention to detail. Everyone is considerate and respectful in the office. Our 3yr old Rottie needed knee surgery and Skylos came highly recommended. Great experience from very 1st phone conversation thru discharge after surgery. Dr.Hummel was extremely thorough explaining how the operation would be done and post-op. Also, the overnight crew put us at ease by sending us pictures and text updates.

I have been with Compassion since we adopted our first dog , Ginger, 10 years ago. Since then, we adopted a 2nd, Millie, who vibed like a chill old drunken sailor. There have been many calls/texts, sick visits, medications, and consultations within that time and I can honestly say every single contact has been nothing but top notch expertise and family friendly service from everyone there.
We had to put Millie down this past November, and as expected the staff were so kind, gentle and accommodating.

Had a really great experience with Dr. Kostinas. She fit me into her busy schedule for a last minute PPE and did a very thorough check of my horse. Was pleasant and patient, answered all my questions and took her time. Got the PPE back to me in a short amount of time so I could complete my purchase. Highly recommended, very professional and the woman who scheduled the appointment was also very helpful and polite.
We brought our yorkie Reed in last week having just switched vets to see them for the first time. Our dog had been sick and we hadn’t had good experiences at our prior vet and we’re nervous taking him in. Although we didn’t get the news we wanted, they worked with us, made him and us feel comfortable, we’re honest and up front/helped figure out how to make choices moving forward financially and for Reed’s care. We had to sadly put him down today, but the staff are wonderful and made us comfortable during the process. I highly recommend their office for your pet’s needs?

Jamie was amazing with both of my dogs. She was calm and patient with my Bandit who is very skittish about baths and noise and Jamie's demeanor made Bandit calm and comfortable. He came out with a beautiful clean coat, cut and nail trim. Smokey also did great with hydrodog. It's a perfect service for pets who hate car rides. Affordable and professional.

I have been feeling poorly for two weeks. Yesterday morning I called in to the Walkersville office to see if I could be seen as I didn’t want to go another weekend feeling so bad. Robin asked questions and set me up with a 2:00 appointment. When I arrived I was taken directly to a room and after a short wait I saw Lauren. She asked what was going on, did an examination and agreed medicine would help at this point. I am looking forward to feeling better.
I was thankful that PT and OT helped me process my recovery from pulmonary embolism for four months. I learned how to control my breath when I exercised with the right technique. Heather, the OT, and PT/PTA shared their knowledge about my case. They encouraged me not to give up on my goals. I easily got frustrated when I felt unable to do something. They kept redirecting my attention to the positive. I was very happy with my recovery progress!

We did our daughter’s 6th birthday party here and it was AMAZING! Staff took care of set up and take down, they asked tons of questions prior including games and a playlist. They handled everything with care and patience. I cannot recommend this enough. Your birthday kiddo and their friends get the run of the gym & it’s perfect.

Had a great experience, Tom is a great driving instructor. Very helpful, had some A+ Humor, and when I had any questions on the road he was extremely helpful and answered questions masterfully. During the 2nd day which is the parking portion, I was very nervous especially in the backing in and 3 point turn, but he made it very easy and digestible. Made it look easy and put all my worri3s away. Highway section was my first time ever being on the highway, but he showed me a good way to merge on to the highway and we did a little exercise (or maybe game..) that made it easier and took my nerves away. Showed me where he lived, and showed me in the in car driving lessons, some part of Maryland that i have never or not regularly been by. He is an overall friendly guy and bought me a treat from Dunkin Donuts for our last driving lesson. Whenever you schedule your in car driving lesson chose Tom St Clair, he is truly a great driving instructor.
