About Able Locksmiths, LLC

Able Locksmiths LLC is a family-owned business with 43 years of experience in providing a variety of security services. They have a fleet of 4 vans that allow them to serve customers in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The company's services include lock picking, surreptitious entry, key control, rekeying, key duplication, fresh installation, and retro-fitting of locks, as well as after-hours emergency services. One customer received assistance from the company in a lockout situation, a security assessment with knob and lock replacements, and a storm door repair, all of which were handled by knowledgeable technicians. Another customer was able to get a key fob replacement from Able Locksmiths for a fraction of the cost quoted by a dealership. Shout out to both Dan and Sam at Able Locksmiths!

We had a double keyed deadbolt on our house and wanted to have a new key cut. After several tries at the shop, the new key would only work on one side of the deadbolt. Dan was committed to seeing the problem through, and scheduled Sam to make a site visit. In the end, Sam re-pinned one of the cylinders and now we have keys that will work on both sides of the door!! Problem solved!!

Years ago, I bought an antique cabinet with a locked drawer and brought the whole thing to the shop in my SUV. The locksmith had to make measurements inside the lock, go inside and cut on the key blank, come back out and measure some more, and repeat this until a brand new key for the cabinet was made!! These guys work Magic!!

Now they’ve fixed my deadbolt, with no additional charge for the house call!!

I’m a customer for life! Thank you!!!

I cannot praise Able enough! I was locked out of my house and called them for an emergency lockout assist. Daniel was crazy helpful and successfully got me in my locked home. These guys ROCK - I can’t recommend them enough.

Wow, … incredible service and with a smile !! Didn’t know it could be so easy. Called in and got same day service. ABLE Locksmiths helped me far beyond my expectations. Professional, knowledgeable, patient (with me “the dummy”), and treated me like family. Thanks to them I now have working locks and keys. You can trust ABLE to be the best, because they are indeed ABLE and willing to help.
