But they were great with us when we needed to adjust their process to make our puppy more comfortable. We had a great experience with our knee surgery and are on the mend. “Glade Valley Animal Hospital in Walkersville, MD is an amazing facility with fantastic people. I have been coming here since before it existed, in the ‘70s when it was attached to a farmhouse and run by Dr Lynch. I have childhood memories bringing my first puppy here, and my family and I have brought all our cats and dogs to this establishment. All the people here are amazing. We recently lost our beloved family dog, Toby, to an incurable illness. The veterinarian and staff were so understanding and sympathetic; I cannot express my gratitude for their patience and care during an extremely difficult time. I would never think of taking a pet anywhere else. In my family, Glade Valley is synonymous to love and compassionate veterinary care.Thank you, to all the vets and staff; it will be a long time before we bring another dog into our life, but if it happens, Glade Valley will be the first stop. “We brought our yorkie Reed in last week having just switched vets to see them for the first time. Our dog had been sick and we hadn’t had good experiences at our prior vet and we’re nervous taking him in. Although we didn’t get the news we wanted, they worked with us, made him and us feel comfortable, we’re honest and up front/helped figure out how to make choices moving forward financially and for Reed’s care. We had to sadly put him down today, but the staff are wonderful and made us comfortable during the process. I highly recommend their office for your pet’s needs?“
“Had a really great experience with Dr. Kostinas. She fit me into her busy schedule for a last minute PPE and did a very thorough check of my horse. Was pleasant and patient, answered all my questions and took her time. Got the PPE back to me in a short amount of time so I could complete my purchase. Highly recommended, very professional and the woman who scheduled the appointment was also very helpful and polite.“
“The technicians are always great with our frenchie. She's a lot to handle, but they're aware and are always good with her. She has been seen by all three vets and super please with each one.“

“I had to put my first cat down due to his health complications. It was very difficult, but they were very helpful especially the receptionist. They worked with another company to perform private cremations and keep sakes. I received a card that was hand written from the whole staff later sorry for my loss. Definitely recommend for normal vet treatment and helping put to rest your late pets“
“This vet clinic has been great and we have been going here since 2015. We have had three dogs that have been treated here for yearly checkups, shots and other issues. The Drs and staff have been very friendly and accommodating for every situation that has come up. I even saw the staff care for a squirrel that a customer brought in that was injured in his yard. They are very caring and love all the animals. It is so refreshing to know that they want your loved ones to be healthily and safe as much as you do.“
