Paul is fantastic! He's always on time, and he does a great job. He is very knowledgable in what he needs to do. He's fixed my fence, repaired our lower gutter (he won't get on the roof), installed flashing and removed the drywall from two rooms in my house. Also one thing is he cleans up. I've had so many people come to my house and not clean a damn thing. He honestly cares about his work and I trust him fully. I highly recommend hiring him for a lot minor construction jobs that you need done. You don't have to deal with these bigger companies that try to rip you off either. They will just continue to invoice you by the hour, not show up and rip you off. Paul will solve all of your problems!

I was desperate to find someone on a short notice for an emergency fix for my son’s jacket. He received a team jacket to attend the BC Winter Games on Sunday and it was way too big for him…. The team was leaving Wednesday for the Games. I found Maryam and she immediately said she could help me. She did an amazing job to fix the jacket and my son was SO happy!

The shorties are all over me 100% of the time I get my haircut at the LVB. The price is also reasonable, can't believe some of the prices these other barbers have, my haircut shouldn't cost more than my girlfriends!!

I made an appointment at New York Barbers, and they failed to make it to work on time, so after 20 minutes of standing in rain I called Man up Grooming in North Vancouver, which felt like right choice for the moment. I recently visited this barber shop and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. This salon is fantastic with very kind and knowledgeable stylists. I called them on a whim in tears because I had gotten a haircut I was very unhappy with somewhere else. When owner Elaina Wotten picked up the phone and was immediately understanding of the situation and was able to help right then and there. Herself and the other stylists there were so kind and full of life, making me laugh and feel at ease even before I sat down. Elaina went to work asking questions with kindness, encouraging words and suggestions for the future of my hair. She worked her magic and by the end I felt more comfortable with my hair again. I am surprised with the result that after the second treatment, I didn't have to shave my underarm at all!The machine is very efficient and Moji definitely knows what she is doing. I am happy to meet Moji because she not only cares about the result but also her customer's experience during the treatment by keeping a pleasant conversation and talking the pain away!I will definitely stick to this place for further treatments. I recently spent two nights at Seaside Hotel on a leisurely drive from Seattle to Tofino. I usually stay downtown or on the Westside, but North Vancouver was a wonderful surprise. I was traveling with my dog Stanley and the residential neighborhood and shipyard pier was truly perfect for walking. The hotel is well located whether you are traveling with a car or not. It’s an easy drive across the bridge to Stanley Park and Vancouver proper. I purchased a parking package and the garage in the building is very convenient with an elevator directly into the hotel. First impressions matter and I was greeted by a welcoming valet Zack. Every staff member is friendly, from the desk to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. I loved my corner room facing the city. It was open and light with floor to ceiling windows. The decor is modern and peaceful, and the spacious bathroom with its soaking tub was a balm after long walks. I had one delicious meal in the restaurant and I was graciously accommodated for dietary restrictions. The Seaside is my new go-to and favorite hotel when in Vancouver and it’s a great value.
I have been going to this Skoah location for 3 years now and it's my favourite one! Yavanna (owner/manager) is always so friendly and kind. The skincare specialists (Suleikha, Olga, Marina, just to name a few) are kind, professional, caring and absolutely marvellous with their hands. I look forward to my monthly facials to relax and rejuvenate. I raised a couple of heating issues with Warren and Sean at TCA, and although the questions were not related directly to an electrical issue, TCA provided me with a fund of valuable information. In short, although I ended up not requiring their electrical services, I found TCA to be quick to respond, helpful in the extreme, and a pleasure to deal with.
Very pleased with my Tesla wall charger installation. Matt was very helpful and responsive in getting me the initial estimate and load calculations. Another company told me I would need an expensive load shedding device and he assured me that it wouldn't be necessary (the city inspector agreed). Augustine came to do the installation -- showed up on time on the dot. Since my home is already built he was apologetic about needing to drill a hole in the drywall -- I was expecting something that I would have to fix later, but it turned out to be the cleanest / neatest hole I have ever seen, doesn't even need any fixing. Super happy with the whole process, would definitely recommend to all my friends.

The door knob to our "high traffic" door between our house and garage completely disintegrated and we were suddenly unable to use the door. This meant going outside and around to get into our garage. Thankfully, Jim was able to swing by within the hour, pulled everything out, installed a new door handle and was gone within 10 minutes. He's a miracle worker! We will definitely recommend and use him again.

I recently bought a small condo in North Vancouver which I really liked except for the old carpet. I looked around at several other places but got the most help in complying with the strata by-laws for floor renovation from Lonsdale Flooring. I choose a good-quality Luxury Vinyl Plank to be installed in my living/dining room and two bedrooms, including closets. It was a difficult job as I have lots of (too much!) furniture that needed moving around as the project progressed and a cat that did not enjoy being confined to the bathroom! Also the floors needed leveling with liquid cement. The installer (John) did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier with my new floors. The cost was comparable with another quote I had and I feel the result was well-worth the amount I paid.

For over 6 months we experienced serious pest problems caused by the construction activity for pipeline installation in the Fraser Heights area of Surrey. I’ve been seeing Dr. Robson since I’ve been young and let me tell you - his methods are borderline black magic with how well it works. There’s been many occasions when my body has been so rigid and stiff to the point where I couldn’t turn my neck without being in pain, and a quick visit with Dr. Robson and I leave feeling better than the first time I experienced Ice cream. If you need fixing, Dr. Robson is the person to see.
I started experiencing severe back pain a few months ago. I consulted with three different physiotherapists and non of them were able to determine what the problem was, all in while my back pain kept getting worst and worst. I was referred to Dr. Wiggins by a friend. My pain started subsiding following my first appointment with him and has kept getting better since. Dr. Wiggins was able to quickly determine the source of my pain and help relief the pressure.
I cannot recommend Dr Dickson highly enough. I have been receiving chiropractic treatment since I was a teenager, and he is easily the best chiropractor I've had the fortune of receiving treatment from. I've struggled in particular with lower back problems since sustaining major injuries in a catastrophic accident in my late teens. It frequently gets locked up very, very tightly. Dr Dickson is the only chiropractor I've encountered yet with the skill and strength to make the necessary adjustments to relieve my lower back pain. He's also skilled enough to make much more subtle yet necessary adjustments that require a lighter touch. If you're experiencing back pain and seeking relief don't think twice, book an appointment with Dr Dickson.

I miss this vet so much. I moved to Vancouver Island four years ago so I had to find another vet, and I have yet to find one even half as good or caring as Dr.Cichon, I’m still searching… He saved my kitten from the brink of death when I first adopted her, even called the SPCA himself outraged that they’d not only adopt out such a sick kitten, but let its condition go unnoticed and untreated for so long. She recovered under his care and is now 12 and a half. My oldest cat just died of advanced heart failure that went undetected, he was seen by a vet here regularly including just days before, they didn’t notice it, and instead prescribed him unnecessary drugs for allergies that he did not have. I know in my heart that if he had still been seeing Dr.Cichon it wouldn’t have gone unnoticed or misdiagnosed, and that he might still be here, he was always so thorough and took his time to explore all options instead of just jumping to conclusions. Whenever possible he used gentler holistic treatment methods, which my cats and I appreciated. In his heyday, my cat who has now passed on was not easy to deal with in a veterinary environment, I remember him freaking out and pooping on the exam table once, and even trying to attack Dr.Cichon. His behaviour never affected his quality of care, and they were always patient with him and made every effort they could to make him more comfortable. I’m not sure if the same front desk vet techs still work there, but they were always amazing too.
I feel so relieved and grateful for the expert care given to Gypsy Rose, my dog, by Lynn Valley Vets and staff. Dr. Bratty performed surgery which consisted of removal of a lump on her foot, a lump on her back, removal of a skin tag on her nose and extraction of two damaged teeth. His expertise and professionalism resulted in a successful surgery and a quick recovery. It's been a little over 2 weeks and she's back to her happy self! Dr. Gardner's thorough examination resulted in finding 2 broken teeth, which were missed by another vet's exam just 2 weeks prior. I shudder to think of the pain that she would have had to endure if they were not found.

Everyone here is amazing. Rarely do I get the same vet in a row, but no need for favorites as all the staff are caring and honest. Very communicative about each necessary and optional step in diagnosing and treating my dogs. They're also upfront about the costs and potential risks. I've never felt pressured, and they've never done anything without my approval. I still take my dogs here even though I've moved from the North Shore to New Westminster.

Max is an extremely knowledgeable physiotherapist who demonstrates both expertise and familiarity with treatment modalities, he’s very attentive to patients’ needs and figures out what the problem is very quickly. I recently had the opportunity to receive treatment from him for chronic elbow pain that had been bothering me and woke me up during the night and the pain significantly decreased in just a few sessions. I highly recommend him to others or those looking for a physiotherapist.

They all have different techniques which i like.However, the company just recently changed their 60minute rate from $125 to 130. I didn’t receive any email regarding the rate changes — just saw it on my receipt. I just wish that they bring it down to $126 as that’s the maximum my insurance will cover.Sadly, i will cancel future appointments and go to other places that charge $125 and $122.Awesome RMTs!!!

The massage was very good. Therapist was thorough, applied good pressure and relieved some very tense and knotted muscles for me. She focused as I asked and adjusted pressure for me. Treatments are done fully clothed and there are no private rooms - so it's not spa-like, but it is easy to access and no-nonsense. It was great. I will go back.

It was a wonderfully different experience compared to previous visits to a Western GP, my practitioner took time listening to my concerns/ things I had tried before and really getting to know as much as he could. He explained every thing, what the aims of treatment were, what he has doing and the reasons behind it and set out a clear plan for the next couple of sessions. Never have I ever felt so relaxed and cared for in a doctors office setting! From the front desk team to Dr Kathleen everyone was so kind. I felt deeply listened to, never did I feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing anyone. I felt valued not just as a patient but as a person. I left with a game plan to get my health in order that seems so easily attainable and accessible for my busy life. I highly recommend restoration health clinic, their team goes above and beyond!
My experience at Holy Family Acupuncture has been exceptional. I appreciate that Jason is quick to explain each procedure. He also shares his expansive knowledge of health related issues which I find very interesting. I've had 3 appointments so far and have noticed a big difference in the after effects of shingles that had left me compromised.

Both my husband and I took classes with Eric when we first moved here. We had been driving for over 20 years on the other side of the road and moving here meant we had to re learn many driving skills that pertain to BC. Things like school zones , left turns on intersections, etc, etc. Eric knew exactly where our weak points were, where we would fail and how to help us. Both my husband and I passed. I was also very nervous and he knew how to bring out a confident driver. Highly recommend ERIC! Truly very experienced.
I highly recommend Kimbers Driving School! Made it in one take! Grateful for Ms. Vicky who was very accommodating,amidst of her busy schedule, she made it to a point that I will get enough lessons before my road test. With her guidance, encouragement and patience, she taught me the skills to be confident and to become a safe driver. Lessons were very informative and well-structured. I have only good words about Ms. Vicky!

Jamshid was awesome, with just four lessons he was able to teach me the in and outs of driving and helped me feel confident and ready for the road test. He was able to tell me what to do on the road and was able to teach me what would happen during the test. Thanks to Jamshid, I was able to pass my road test on my first try and I feel confident on the road!

Ghandi is an outstanding driving instructor! He is so patient, kind, personable and very professional! He is a gem of a person and I would highly highly recommend him! He helped my daughter with ALL of her driving lessons and coaching her through her N test. He is prompt and he is very caring.
