I brought my elderly (92 years old) mother to Kim's for a haircut before a family event. Kim was a model of efficiency (between hair washing and the cut, it was only a half-hour) and cheerfulness. And she cut my mother's hair beautifully; I gave Kim a picture to work from and the cut was shaped perfectly. My mother was so pleased with the result. We will definitely be returning, and recommend her highly.

I want to start off by saying that I love the art on my nails and I loved that they were extremely gentle. they took care of my cuticles all that type of things but what I would give them is feedback is that it's really important to check with the client for understanding of what I'm looking for and what you're doing because I booked an appointment for hard gel and was very specific about that and as you were like doing things I kept asking about like this is this is gel right and you and you kept telling me yes but in fact it it is gel but it's gel x and then you cut my nails too short where we couldn't proceed with what I actually wanted and it cost me more than what I booked the appointment for which is fine. I know nail art Costa and it looks great and I don't have a problem with that. I tipped you well because I was happy but I just really did want hard gel extensions and if you couldn't fulfill that I should have been told before I came in. but again I would recommend you and I would give you another opportunity to give me the manicure that I actually or the extensions that I actually want.

I have been going here for YEARS. Really lovely ladies who always do such a good job with my nails. I’ve tried other places and always come back here, even when I moved out of the area. They properly take off the acrylics, don’t just snap it and damage your real nails like other salons. To top it all off, they’re wonderful with my kid when they come along too. I called regarding a leak in my toilet. Mike returned my call promptly and gave an assessment and price range over the phone, taking care to walk me through likely steps. For my appointment, he showed up right on time, and was thorough with both the toilet repair and cleaning up the area afterwards. After fixing the leak, he also inspected all other parts of the toilet for necessary adjustments. He also answered my questions about my sink and water boiler, educating me in his responses.
Overall he was knowledgable, professional, and very pleasant. His rates were also very fair, and matched his initial phone quote. Will definitely be calling him again next time I need a repair.

We wanted to install a smart lock in my condo, but my entrance door had some unusual and old security hardware that was super hard to remove. We first hired a Task Rabbit but he couldn't get the job done, given the complexity to remove the old door hardware (we still had to pay him, so it was just a waste of money).
So we contacted many locksmiths in our area and quoted with them all. Better Lock had the best price and was the only one confident that they would be able to get the job done (some locksmiths even said it wasn't possible).
They came in the next day and voilà: problem solved!
Now I know where to go to for locksmith services.

I am a council member of our Strata. Recently one of our units on the main floor had a water leakage that went out into the hallway and soaked our carpets. We called Incredible Restoration who came out first thing next morning. We had a few technicians over the next 3 working days and every one of them were on time, friendly, ready to explain things and always cleaned up after themselves. IR are a great company along with their staff. We don't hesitate to call on them.

The Maids have been doing my somewhat cluttered condo about 4 times a year for several years now. They are friendly (including to my cat) and efficient. The team is in and out in just over an hour leaving the place sparkling (even glass over the burners).

I’m absolutely thrilled with my new Vintage Engineered Northern Sawn Select V white oak flooring in the Oracle colour. It looks spectacular in my small condo and has completely transformed the space.
Owner Peter clearly has deep experience and confidence working with wood flooring—his guidance made the process stress-free. The installer Tony was kind, tidy, and respectful of my condo neighbours and building rules. Several neighbours commented on how impressed they were with both his workmanship and his considerate manner. My baseboards were removed and reinstalled to avoid quarter or shoe moldings. Tony is a perfectionist. Not one mark on my wall or baseboards.

Had EuroArts redo some bad grout in our master walk-in shower. It was in bad shape with lots of mold due to poor grouting when it was installed. The results were incredible and well beyond what I'd hoped. The quote was basically right on the money. Would highly recommend EuroArts.

Office administration needs some help. BUT, when it came to the actual installation, JEREMY was exceptional. Arrived at 8am sharp and left just before 7pm. The work was outstanding and efficient, even though it was not a standard shower, and had to be reworked to fit the space.

If you live in Burnaby and you have a pest problem look no further than Knockout Pest Control. Ryan has helped me for over 10 years with everything from ants to raccoons and he knows his stuff. He is very thorough. At one house I had squirrels in my attic and while the previous owner had another company block most of the entry points they missed some and Ryan solved the problem and installed a one way door so the squirrels could not get back in once they left. The previous owner used poison and that left a few dead carcasses in the attic. As import as being good is, just as import is being honest. Ryan will only recommend and do what is needed. If there is another trade like a roofer that can fix a problem better than him, he will recommend that - this is being honest and recommending to customers what is best for them. I could not recommend Knockout Pest Control more!

I was going through a terrible lower backache, which limits my mobility then had my very first experience of chiropractic treatment with Dr Lee.
I was hesitant to go as I don’t know what to expect honestly but I’m glad i did because after getting treatment I felt better, I was relieved from the pain. They also do the 15 minute massage with the machine which was exceptionally relaxing.
I highly recommend Dr Lee, he gives you detailed explanations on your condition for better understanding as well as giving advice on which exercises are suitable for your needs.

For context, my dog usually hates getting her toe nails clipped, especially her dew claws. I used to get her nails clipped at a vet clinic by a Dr or Nurse, she would squeel, try and break free and in some cases, try to nip at the groomer. The vet told me it might be a sign that she has arthritis hence the sensitivity...
However, with Sabrina, she was so calm, didnt even tremble or squeel!! She was just as calm in Sabrina's arm when she was whisked away to the back to get her nails trimmed, and still just as calm and chill when she returned. Highly recommend Metro Dogs!! THANK YOU ?

Recommend the RMT massage by Minna. Most RMT's do a targeted massage of the affected area only, but Minna was professional and kind enough do a full body massage in addition to the pain points. The tension in my neck/shoulder was relieved after the massage. The front desk staff were very courteous and were able to direct bill to my 2 insurances. They should develop their website to allow for online booking though. Right now it looks like only phone booking is available.

This is one of the busiest RMT places in Burnaby for a good reason - because they are great at what they do.

Yesterday, I’ve tried IV booster for the first time to treat my chronic pain. Frankly, I hadn’t expected it’d do much and just wanted to try since it’s covered by my company benefits. But omg, I felt so awake and energetic today. The pain is still there, but my energy level is noticeably different. I strongly recommend trying the IV injection, especially to people who feel tired all the time.

Took one hour lesson with Jeff before my class 5 road test to refresh everything. It was great practice and Jeff made sure to go through the typical routes of the exam and point out what they want from you. Passed my exam 30mins later with no problems so overall a great experience.

Hung is an amazing teacher, and very passionate about teaching. I was very nervous leading to my road test, but he made sure I was comfortable with driving. He was very quick to catch onto my bad driving habits and correct them. He's very patient, outgoing, and thorough. It took me only 3 lessons for me to pass my N test with Hung's guidance. I would highly recommend taking Hung's lessons if you are struggling to learn the rules of the roads.
Today was my fourth attempt at road test. I took one class with Hussein sir and I passed the road test. He was calm and taught a simple and effective Signal, Mirror and Shoulder Check rule that helped me a lot during the test.
Great experience with this driving school! I took the class 3 standard transmission 32hr package. In all seriousness, I went from knowing nothing to getting through my exam. The instructors are very knowledgeable and attentive to your learning needs. They don’t skip over the issues you are having they help you iron the issues out.
