I am Zona's worst client. I am also her business partner. Most of her clients know me as the funny esthetician. I cannot keep anything on my hands for 2 weeks. I use them as tools for everything and then if they last through my projects for the mere 14ish days, I'm chewing them off the last night.
I've had the new builder gel on through a complete room exchange at our shop including painting and hanging cabinets. All of that and all of my random spray paint projects at home. And once ya know me, you'll know it's a ridiculous amount.

Kalen's studio space is charming and clean, plenty of personality but not in a way that feels overwhelming. Kalen herself is very welcoming and warm, conversational and an attentive listener. I've had two luminary manicures by her and I've loved both! I had an inspiration for the second one and she on the spot came up with a pretty design. I'm excited to see what she comes up with next time (though, I'll give her more than last minute to think!).
This was my second time getting a massage with Francesca and a day after my massage my body is feeling a lot more healed than it we pre massage. The first time I went in, I got the luxurious Alchemist massage which included a full body scrub, shower in between, and full body massage after. Francesca first made sure above all else that I felt comfortable and relaxed before starting and that the temp. in the room was just right. I felt like I was walking on a cloud after this massage! The second time I came in I asked for help targeting specific problem areas, especially tension in my upper back. She did such a great job working the knots out of my body and also used a cooling mist that helped combat inflammation! The studio is right next to Amelia's in Windsor park so grab yourself a brownie after the massage. :) Can't wait to treat myself again to this next month!

Wanted hair extensions but with my thin hair I did a lot of research and eventually tried tape ins with terrible results. As a travel nurse in the Indy area I found Lauren at LB extensions. She was amazing. Not only do I have thin hair I have thyroid issues too.
I walked in for a consultation one evening and we had me scheduled the next day to put my extensions in. She was open and honest about price, took the time to explain everything that would happen on installation day. The next day came and I left feeling wonderful about myself and more confident.
On my 6wk appt we tried a different technique to see how it would work. After a couple weeks my hair was not sitting right. I text Lauren she got me in that day fixed my hair and I walked out very happy.
Lauren is very accommodating personable and a joy. I would recommend her to anyone looking to do extensions and are in the fence.
Everyone here is so courteous and professional! I took my daughter to get her hair done before the Taylor Swift concert and she loved it. They also fit her in for a makeup appointment on the fly even though they were slammed! I couldn't recommend them more... 5 stars.
Wow, I cannot recommend KBB enough. We rented out the bridal bar for my wedding and had all the girls have their hair and make up done there. The vibes were immaculate. Super clean and overall ambience was so warm and welcoming. Ellie & Kenzie did our hair and not only were they so pleasant to work with, they absolutely slayed on every single person's hair. It's totally worth the extra investment to rent out the space and made getting ready for my big day even more special. Working with Kathryn and Becky on getting everything reserved and details down was super easy and they were flexible when I had to make minor adjustments.

I recently got a layered haircut by Ahniang and it turned out exactly how I wanted. The stylist really listened to what I was looking for and perfectly executed the layers to give my hair the volume and movement I desired. I'm so happy with the results!
I normally hate getting my hair cut because I always have bad experiences, but Kurt did an amazing job! He corrected issues from my last cut and left my hair looking gorgeous! He’s so sweet and just overall awesome. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back next time I need my hair cut!
If I could give this place a higher rating I would. I have been waiting for my hair appointment with Hannah for about a month now and I had it last night. Let me just say it was definitely worth the wait! From the moment I walked in I absolutely enjoyed the open minded, friendly, and homey vibe that not only the actual salon had but also the staff had. I was super nervous about dying and cutting my hair at a salon because the last time I did I came out with 5in+ taken off my hair and bright orange/yellow hair. Talk about traumatizing. Hannah made sure to really listen to everything I wanted and what I was worried about. Then she made sure to explain almost everything she was doing in a way that I could understand so that I wasn’t nervous. In the end, she was able to give me EXACTLY what I was asking for while also making the experience soooooo fun and exciting. I really cannot compare this experience to any of the past salons I’ve been to because it was nothing like them. The empathy and heart that this salon has is like no other. I will DEFINITELY be coming back for my next appointment. If you are nervous/scared to dye or cut your hair, this is the place to go. They really listen and make sure to give you what you want.
Grace was sick, I usually hate going to get my haircut because it’s always awkward and never turns out how I want it having curly hair but she was super easy to talk to and I loved my hair after. She also helped me find products and guidance on what will work for my hair because I have been struggling with that. Riley at the front desk gave me a coffee as soon as I walked in which was really nice and the facility itself was set up in lovely layout and everything was really clean.
She is amazing with color! Knows what she thinks is best for you, continually updates her products and knows how to apply them. I love my color!

Brittany Clinton knows hair! I went to Brittany for about 2.5 years. She improved my hair from bad to the best condition in years! I have been going to My Dad's Barber shop for years. Great old style barbershop atmosphere, and feel. Both Veronica and her dad are extremely talented with clippers, scissors, and comb, and Veronica is amazing with cutting, styling, and coloring. This is a very family friendly shop, and they truly appreciate and care for their customers. Call, make an appointment and give this place a try, it's totally worth it!!

I have been using Nate for YEARS to cut my hair. I never leave his chair not feeling like a new man. He offers an exceptional cut for a great price. I would give his shop 10 stars if I could.
I never post reviews but was very impressed at my visit today. I came here after Cookie Cutters turned us (my son) away due to availability. I really needed my sons hair cut and I stopped by here. The owner was very nice, professional and patient with my 1.5 year old, even though they don’t usually accept clients at this age. The owner did a great job and I wish we lived closer to come here often.
Requested style: I asked her to give me a bald fade on my undercut all around from 0 but please don’t remove my sideburns like most other barbers/stylists have done.
Hair type: I have four different hair textures and some stylists struggle with a fade on my hair but not Keys!
Stylist: I have been to six shops since I moved to Indy and Keys or any of the guys I saw making art here will be my forever stop. These folks can cut some hair!!!
Donna is fabulous!!! I wear my hair very Short & I am picky so sometimes had a hard time finding someone to actually cut my hair short enough & way I wanted. All the ladies at Shadeland Barber shop are Amazing! The atmosphere is friendly & welcoming. Very professional & but also down to earth. I highly recommend Shadeland Barber shop every time! They listen to what you like & are creative in ways of styling to fit your style just right .
Always go here. Great vibes, Black owned, and Mike always gets my cut right no matter how many weeks I go without a cut lol and he cut my son's free form locs . They are considerate of the children in the shop when playing music and great customer service. ?? My son has had a lining from one of the other barbers once before as well. All that I've seen do good work. They have moved to a new location( 3202 W 16th st). Highly recommend! Also has a salon next door in same building. I'm not sure what she specializes in, but she does braids for sure.

We had the best experience with Bree for my sister’s Bridesmaids for her wedding!!! She was very helpful during the entire process from the time I reached out to her and had excellent communication on what to expect, how to prep, and even worked with us when we needed to push back our start time 15 minutes due to traffic! Our spray tans look amazing and she put all of us at ease. She set everything up in our home and was very efficient getting us all done in a timely manner. I will definitely be reaching out in the future!

Wasn't sure what to expect because it had been so long since I've been to any tan salan, but wow! The customer service from all the employees here is amazing! They are so kind, patient, and helpful! Tommy, the owner did my nails when he was in Lebanon, 20 years ago. I have recently come back to him and his wife's nail salon. My daughter and I get our nails and pedi's done every 2 weeks together. We love the salon love the owners and our experience and nails and toes always look fabulous! Plus, it's by appointment, so it's peaceful as well.

Newer spot close to me so I figured I would give it a try! I went in for a dip manicure. The tech did a great job on the overall shape of my nails, but I asked for round and he left me with square. That's the only complaint, everything else was nice.

Had a wonderful appointment here! It was relaxing and fun and exactly what my feet needed. I don't like places that are super crowded and noisy. Maganda Nail Salon was calm and intimate. We had lovely conversation, and I left feeling pampered.

I feel like I'm at the brow doctor when I come here. The studio is very put together, it has style, and it's very clean. McKayla is a professional, very nice, and an expert in her craft. If you want to have conversation, she can carry on, but if it goes silent just know she is probably putting on the gloves and getting to work. I have never had a more impressive threaded eyebrow out of many places I've been to (some including high end salons across the country), that I told my friend who was visiting to go to McKayla because "she will get you looking snatched" and that's exactly what she did.
The location is convenient for me because the other location is out of my way, but I have a soft spot for this location since I've lived in the neighborhood. It's very defined and I would recommend anyone who isn't afraid to get out of their pockets of Indy to visit and get some work done.
Speaking of work, they do lots of other things, which I'm intrigued to try, which speaks to their certifications and area of expertise.
Dani is amazing! I booked her for makeup and hair for my wedding and decided to get a few pre-wedding facials with her too.
The facials left my skin feeling wonderful and she was so warm and easy to talk to. I even convinced my partner to go in for a couple facials and he was very happy with the results.
She usually works with Danie Patterson for bridal services and they were so much fun to spend the morning of my wedding with! My friends and I had such a great time getting to know them. They are both also incredibly talented. I do not wear a lot of makeup and Dani made sure to keep me looking like myself, just elevated.
I also wanted to keep my natural curls - I showed Danie a couple pictures at the trial and talked through up vs down. She went right to work and came up with the most beautiful messy up-do to complement my curls. She also suggested using some dried flowers and arranged them in such a gorgeous way.
We were all so happy with our hair and makeup, as well as how lovely they both were to spend time with.
I am so glad that I booked them for my wedding! Really could not recommend them any more highly. I'll also definitely be going back to Dani for facials. She is such a joy!

Sheena is the best hair stylist and owner of TruReflections. As a blonde, I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. You need to make TruReflections your salon if you are in the Indy area. You will have a relaxing experience knowing your hair will be healthy and stunning every time. It’s not a salon, it feels like home.

Molly is a phenomenal waxer and professional business owner! I am an esthetician myself and used to wax clients. I am particular about my waxes and have been to several estheticians before for waxing. Molly is hands down the best - the wax isn’t too hot, she is quick, and she gets everything! I have been a regular for Brazilian waxes and the occasional underarm when I don’t do it myself. I also want to add that Molly respects your time and is very personable to chat with! 10/10 recommend!
I had my first brozilian here, and it was my first waxing experience anywhere on my body. In line with all of the other positive reviews, Sonya was absolutely phenomenal.
Having dealt with body image issues and the anxiety of getting waxed as a male, I had been curious about waxing but never made the plunge. I'm so glad I found Sonya because my experience was no where near as painful/intimidating/awkward as I had feared. She was nothing but professional and a joy to carry a conversation with, and she talked me through the process and what to expect.
One last note, fellas, if mangrooming is your jam, razoring or using clippers (e.g., manscaper), you will not beat a professional set of hands who removes the hair from the root. Seriously, I'm surprised how smooth I feel. 10/10

Dina is a true professional! Very clean, precise, and pays attention to detail. Her spirit is warm and kind. Her touch is gentle, and she explains what she's doing and why. I absolutely love that she uses witch hazel to cleanse the area of skin before threading. She also uses gloves and wears a mask. It's the extras that go a long way. The prices are reasonable and she does a superb job! I'll never go anywhere else to get my brows threaded.

Lifespa definitely uses the "spa" in it's name fairly liberally- from the website I thought I was going to be able to have a spa day by going to the eucalyptus steam bath, the sauna, etc. but it seems those are for LifeTime members only. This "spa" is a segregated hair salon with a back room where they do facials and massages. Now- once I had my expectations managed, this was a very good facial. The aesthetician was detailed and listened well, and had good recommendations on what to do for my facial. I left feeling relaxed and my face was so soft. The prices were on-par with other facials I have had in Indy. Other than that, parking was easy and free. The location was great and convenient. And everyone was very kind.
Did my first ever lash service with a Lash Lift and Tint. Danielle did a great job. She was on time, a pleasure to talk with for an hour, personable, and Calm Lash Lounge was just that - calm, comfortable, and clean. By the end of an hour, I definitely felt like I had pampered myself. Recliner chair was very comfortable. And her prices are very reasonable. I plan to return for other services! If you are unsure about having a lash service as I was, I highly recommend you try Danielle at Calm Lash Lounge.
