“Got my nostril and 2d ear piercings here and from the jump I was convinced I found my Indy tattoo & piercing home. Nova was great helping me schedule my appointment and doing the intake. I could tell she cared about me as a customer and was the complete opposite of some people I've dealt with where they don't make eye contact or act like you're bothering them while they focus on their phone. AJ did a fantastic job on my piercings. She was personable, professional, and very knowledgeable! She told me what she was going to do, then walked through steps to complete the piercing. She made sure my piercings were perfectly placed by taking into account things I didn't consider. The actual piercing was so smooth and gentle i honestly barely felt my ear being done! She made sure I understood the aftercare and encouraged me to call if I had any questions or concerns. Overall, I don't think I could've had a better piercing experience.“

“I was initially leery about getting a tattoo from this shop due to it being in Washington Square Mall (if you know, you know). But man I walked in and the place was very clean and stylish. I observed some of the artists and what they were working on and was amazed! The entire shop is talented. I thought I walked into Black Ink! “Came in today had a minor ID mishap but had 2 forms and the owner was walking out and said get it done and that is exactly what she did I wanted a dermal integrated into my tattoo and another artist was able to weigh in and gave a fresh opinion and we came up with the perfect spot. 10 on cleanliness 10 on customer service 10 on it being done in a timely manner 10 on after care instructions. Even though iv had so many dermal piercings I still listen to my piercers I will deff be back and deff recommend #itsavibe

Requested style: I wanted the piercing placed inside of my tattoo which can be tricky especially getting it right in the middle of the tat on my neck over the curved middle of LOYALTY

Specialties: Dermal piercings can be very delicate and tricky and one must remain very still until the jewelry it placed placement was not easy but it was very quick considering.

Cleanliness: Everything came straight out the package. Gloves were worn at all times and even after I asked to clean my jewelry one last time she regloved and had no problem doing so.“

“Went in with 3 other people to get piercings, with no appointment. The guy that checked us in was super friendly and let us know it would be about a 30 minute wait. The vibe of the shop was really nice, you can tell they care about cleanliness and making people feel comfortable. Bret, I believe, was the gentleman who pierced us and I only have good things to say. He was so patient and kind! He did not make us feel rushed at all and explained the different prices of all the jewelry before taking us back to the piercing room. He wore a mask pretty much the whole time, sprayed everything down, wore several pairs of gloves, sterilized everything for several minutes before even starting. Really appreciated how clean and sanitary everything was. Looking at all the Polaroids on the wall was super fun while waiting for everyone to get done. He made sure all of us were okay with placement before piercing and explained aftercare once we were all finished. It was just overall a really great vibe and I will definitely be back to get more piercings!!“

“I have been to this shop numerous times for both tattoos and piercings. I have gotten several piercings from Bryan and even took my 9 year old daughter to him to get her ears pierced for her birthday. He has always talked me through things, made me and my daughter feel comfortable for our piercings and the shop overall is very clean and professionally ran. The tattoos I've gotten here have all turned out great, my friends are always complimenting about how they look like stickers. These guys in here are great! “I’ve gotten my nostril, helix, and second set of lobes pierced here. I had a fairly pleasant experience in the shop with all of these. However, I wasn’t told to downsize my helix jewelry despite it being a critical step of the healing process. It’s been a year and my helix gets a bit irritated every now and then— which is not abnormal— but I do wonder if that would still be the case if I had downsized. I advise that when going here, you do your research on the piercings you want before getting them, including placement and aftercare. I mention placement because the placements of my nostril and lobe piercings are a bit awkward; I actually got my lobes re-pierced a few months later because they were too close to my original lobes. That was on me for not correcting the placement when I was shown where they would be, but nonetheless, I thought I’d mention it to emphasize that being informed about your piercings is important! My nostril was pierced a little too low and far back and I was told by the piercer that this was the proper placement for the hoop I wanted to wear in it after it healed. When I asked a piercer at another shop about this though, he told me this is only the protocol for those with noses that are larger than mine (I have a small nose). The placement isn’t too dreadful, but I envy those who have their nostril pierced in the traditional way: slightly higher up and more towards the center of the nostril (longitudinally). I was 15 when I got all of these done (that’s probably why I had so many issues with them) so I especially advise young people to know what you’re getting into before getting pierced.“

“Wow this so was so good!! The girl in the front booth told me when to come back bc they did have Walkins available, she even stayed open until like midnight to fit me in, she redid the design until I was 100% happy, redid the placement until it was perfect, she gave me numbing cream, and it felt soooo good for the most part until we got to my lower back, but she worked quickly and was very very talented. She even made some suggestions I had not considered, and now I have this badass phases of the moon tattoo covering my entire spine!!“

He told me everything I needed to do to make sure I wasn't getting repairs like I was and keeping the piercings that I have.
