“Allow me to take you back to 2009. I was browsing through MySpace (a testament to my age) when I came across an individual named Joshua Tennison, known as Shadow, a talented tattoo artist whose artwork captivated me. At 426 pounds, I was acutely aware of the significant lifestyle changes that lay ahead of me. My health was deteriorating, with a collapsing spine, type 2 diabetes, and limited mobility. My doctor warned that my heart wouldn't withstand another year or two without drastic change. I made a pact with my cousin, Joshua, that upon undergoing gastric bypass surgery and subsequent weight loss, we would tackle skin removal surgery together. Sadly, today, I wish to acknowledge Joshua's birthday in heaven. Despite his absence, I proceeded with the skin removal procedure, undergoing two tummy tucks and two other surgeries. Now, 16 years later, as I look towards 2026, I've decided to embark on a new journey – one that involves Shadow redesigning my body art. With numerous scars from previous surgeries and questionable tattoos, Shadow has his work cut out for him. Our first session was an amazing process, during which he attentively listened to me and began crafting my skin story. I admire his exceptional talent and commend his professionalism. I'll be sure to post more photos following my next session in May.“

PS- If you want to do a walk in tattoo, make sure to call ahead and see if they can get you in same day. Don't just walk in and go interrupt the artists while they're working on someone else. It's disrespectful to the client and the artist. <3“

“I went and got my nipples repierced after I had them out for a year , made it easy and very comfortable , sale and pepper made them look better and in the right spot that they were suppose to be in . If I was to ever get another piercing I would 100 percent go back . Just overall very friendly and professional .“

“Great experience! Steve sat with me and discussed my hair desires. Made me feel comfortable. Didn't rush me. I went in THINKING I wanted a perm. But also wanting very short hair. He explained with my hair what would suit me best amd he NAILED it. We went with a sharp angled cut with an undercut on the sides. That fixed the problem I have ALWAYS hated about this style. Then he did blonde highlights. Once again I THOUGHT i wanted something but after talking he explained ea step and I came out with something better than I hoped for. Sometimes we have a picture in our head. But as many know, our hair doesn't do that. Steve showed me how to style my hair to get the picture that I wanted. He also gave me realistic expectations and text me from making some pretty terrible mistakes:). Ten out of ten!“
