After thoroughly assessing the performance problem, he recommended a new hard drive and fan to restore the laptop's functioning, rather than simply to discard it. He transferred the data from the old hard drive to the new hard drive and gave me the old one to keep at home. He also took time to advise me about the importance of backing up my files regularly and ways to store them. As well, he patiently answered other questions I had. He was amiable, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. The laptop should now perform well for another 4-5 years and at a much lower cost than a new laptop or desk top computer.
