It has a unique and personal feel where all the teachers know my son’s name even if they don’t have him in class. The teachers are warm and loving. The admin staff is amazing. The education curriculum has been great.
Amal is a real magician! I did kerasilk kerating treatment. The hair transformation is insane, they look much stronger, healthier and shinier. I also got very good haircare tips which I will definitely be following. Amal really knows everything about haircare. She also did the treatment very fast and the price was great. Salon also offers professional cosmetics for the kerasilk aftercare in a good price. Also I really enjoyed chatting with Amal, the time past quickly when you have fun :) I will definitely be coming back.

The man running this store is professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. My fiance and I brought in some belts to be fixed and he did so quickly on the spot and since the repair was so small and minor (adding of one small screw) didn’t charge us a dime.

I don't know of if this is a family run business or not but the barbers/stylists don't seem possessive over clients.
So I've had two different ladies cut my hair, both did a great job. After the hair cut, they'll wipe your face & neck with a hot wet towel and they'll massage your head & neck. I didn't ask for either they just did it.

My experience was pretty good! I got to choose my colors for a dip and extension and worked with Anna. She was super nice and helpful. I will say the dip didn’t dry all the way, and part of it chipped in the process, but Anna was able to fix it. The finished product was worth trusting the process. The colors are stunning and I love the length and shape. First time trying a nail salon in falls church, and these employees made me feel very welcome. Anna did an amazing job on my nails!
The salon itself was very clean, easy to find and played very serene music as the TV played through national parks and major cities to visit in the US. They also have free starburst and a fridge with refreshments for guests, which is so sweet and quirky. Will be coming again!

I went in for highlights and showed Didi a picture of what i wanted from Pinterest. She matched it to a tee and made sure when my hair grew out i would look natural. I go to college so i am only able to get my hair done ever so often and she catered to that exact need. Not only did my hair look great, she did my highlights in a hour!!! If any of you have gotten your hair done sometimes you’re sitting in that chair for four hours! So she did efficiently and flawlessly!!
Sharon is the best. She provides great customer care on the current haircut and how to maintain the style moving forward. After having some terrible cuts in the Clarendon area, she is a hidden gem. Overall the whole experience at lifespa is great, well worth the money given other barbers charging $45 for a cut that lasts 10 minutes.

The shops front office staff was polite and very patient and the overall theme of the shop is artistic but also very clean and sanitary I recommend for any first time tattoo appointments. Both my artist Gilda and the receptionist went over maintenance how it would feel, how to take care of with written pre printed instructions. Not to mention Gilda had my tattoo ready and when it was done it was exactly what I had in mind.
Definitely will be making an appointment in the future for a sleeve.

Khalid is terrific. Extremely responsive and attentive. We had a leak in our dishwasher. He came out and could not find the leak. He did not ask for any payment and we agreed I would keep an eye on it. Once I found the source he came right back and diagnosed what parts he needed to order. Again, he did not ask for payment. Once the ordered parts came in, he let me know and came back to fix it. He never asked to be paid until the problem was resolved. He is kind and so pleasant. I highly recommend him. He will not disappoint.
I recently hired Nizar to repair my Samsung gas oven in my rental. He was able to check it out the very next day for an $89 service fee which would be cancelled if we hired him for the repair.I sent him the address and he showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the situation as a faulty igniter. He was prepared to replace it right away for just under $300.I gave him the go-ahead and he shortly had that fixed up and my oven working. My tenant was so happy (he bakes incredible sourdough) and I didn't have to get involved.I definitely recommend Nizar for other landlords!

Mikael, a very friendly expert on all types rugs is the owner of this well organized rug cleaning business. His staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. Mikael and his team immediately offered to repair one of the 3 Moroccan rugs we were having cleaned when they saw it was quite worn. Three years ago we moved back in to what had become a major, three story renovation of our home in Arlington. I LOVE our house just as much today as I did three years ago. Like any project of this size, there were a few bumps in the road, but Jason Chaney @ Alair was a master problem solver, stepping in to course correct when needed and finishing this yearlong + renovation on time. Throughout the renovation when people would ask me about my experience with our contractor, I remember in thinking “ask me again in three years because I am certain some troubleshooting will be needed and one of the top concerns I have heard others share is their contractor was good in the moment but disappeared after they received their last payment.” Well, three years later, I can tell you without hesitation that Alair gets an A+ in the post renovation, post the last payment department. Jason Chaney and Alex Castro are extremely responsive and excellent in the follow through. If someone were to ask me today, I would tell them this is among the most important criteria in choosing your contractor. Jason - and team - are superb at troubleshooting and responsiveness, and have provided me with enormous peace of mind.

This service was for a commercial kitchen where hygiene standards are strict. The team arrived early before opening and checked under sinks, storage racks, and equipment areas. They worked carefully and didn’t rush. There was a small miscommunication about one treated section, but they corrected it immediately. The spray had a mild smell and didn’t interrupt operations. Within days pest sightings dropped significantly and the kitchen has stayed clean since then.

We are very happy with the brick walkway recently installed by Matt Meyer and the crew at J Reynolds Landscaping. We found it difficult to find a mason willing to undertake a relatively small job at our small colonial in North Arlington (removal of a concrete walkway and installation of a dry-laid herringbone walkway). Matt met with us several times to work out the design, promptly prepared what we felt was a fair estimate, and conducted the work as scheduled. The workmanship (I'm afraid that I've forgotten the name of the principal mason) was superb and Matt was good about accommodating some late minute changes in the design.

I recently hired Heart of Wood Tree Service to grind a stump from a small tree that my husband removed. When the owner, Thomas, came to look at the stump, he also recommended that the very overgrown holly bushes in the front of our yard needed pruning and noticed tree limbs growing onto our roof. He gave us the information and estimate but we did not feel pressured at all to include work beyond the initial request for the stump. We appreciated his expertise and decided to contract for all three. From the start, working with Thomas was smooth and easy. He was very responsive to questions. His crew did a great job, cleared away all the branches and left our yard looking great. I highly recommend this business. A plus for us was he is a local business which we always like to support if we can. Hire them, you won't regret it!

UPDATED FROM MY 3/2021 review: I have recently returned to Dr Ziegler's practice with a separate set of problems involving my lower back...as with previous encounters with this practice, I did not have to wait too long for an appt though it had been over 4 years. I went in, spoke with Dr Ziegler about my problems and he was very reassuring! He immediately began a program of accupuncture, stretching, heat and electrical current before sending me off for x-rays at a nearby hospital. Dr. Ziegler was very thorough in his explanation of my films when I returned and a plan of care was initiated. It has been a few weeks now and I can finally drive/sit comfortably and my walking is much improved. Staff are excellent, providing text reminders,free parking and no waiting-unheard of in most practices today. I especially value our conversations of current medical practices in the alternative medical "space" and Dr Ziegler's knowledge of supplements and nutritional aspects of health. As a nurse, I am very comfortable recommending Dr. Ziegler to my family and friends.
Totally love Dr. Murray. Came in to him with an injury like golfers elbow that been bothering me for two months. After a few sessions with him and his tissue work and doing the exercises, I was practically cured. Later, when I injured my elbow again but with nerve irritation, he again came to the rescue and I was able to get back into playing tennis again. I highly recommend Airrosti for their system that gets you through your pain much more quickly than any other PT I have tried.

Chiro Group is a fantastic practice. I came here postnatal several years ago. Most recently, I have been seeing Dr. Rivera for several months. She’s wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, listens to your concerns and offers extra exercises and movements to do at home or in the gym post adjustment. Her bedside manner is caring and calm and I have never felt rushed in order to move on to the next patient. Cant recommend this group enough.

Dr. Schreffler is knowledgeable, skilled, and caring. He spent a good deal of time listening, questioning, examining, and taking notes. He then suggested a thoughtful, holistic approach to addressing my persistent neck and upper trapezius pain, including using an active release technique followed by optional dry needling, as well as suggesting stretching, strengthening, using proper form during strengthening exercises, proper posture when at rest, changing the type of bag I carry (from a shoulder bag and leather purse to a rolling bag or backpack), ensuring that I wear bras and swimsuits that offer adequate support and help distribute weight evenly, and even pointing out the advantage to using a claw clip rather than wearing a tight ponytail. He left no stone unturned. I’ve had only two treatments so far, but I’m optimistic that relief is finally on the way. You’ll be in good hands with Dr. S.

Dr. Cheryl is nothing short of amazing. I first went to her about 20 years ago as a last resort. She turned me from a skeptic of chiropractic treatment to a true believer. Now I see her first, not last. It turns out, I’m not the only one. Two friends and I (all athletes with periodic injuries) were surprised and amused to discover that each of us independently and enthusiastically (i.e., “my chiropractor is the best”) recommended Cheryl to a teammate. After years of pain and limited range of motion in both shoulders, I finally found relief with the team at Full Motion. I’ve been taking my cat to NOVA Cat Clinic for three years and highly recommend it to other cat parents. The vets and techs are sensitive to my cat’s preferences, gentle during exams, and take time to explain everything clearly. When my cat shows signs of stress, they never push; instead, they suggest coming back another day for bloodwork if needed, which makes visits much more comfortable for all of us. The clinic itself is calm, clean, and clearly designed with cats’ comfort in mind. I’m so grateful to have such a compassionate and knowledgeable team caring for my cat.
Heart + Paw Ballston is the best! I take my pup here for urgent care needs, dental cleanings, and vaccinations. I trust Dr. Ashley Cleveland and can’t thank her and the team enough for always treating my pup with so much love. They also explain every charge beforehand so I can make informed decisions about costs. I never feel rushed even when I have so many questions about my pup’s wellness. It’s a bit of a drive for me to get to from PG County but knowing my baby is in great hands makes it worth it.

I've been going to Ziva Wellness for about 4 years now and I've probably tried all the services offered. The new foot and head massages are extremely relaxing (and come with a choice of special tea blends). The lomi lomi and back walking massages are great for whatever ails you, and the fascia release, cupping, and assisted stretching are fantastic for stiffness. Their prices are extremely good for the quality of the service.
Angelee is the best massage experience my wife and I have ever had (and we've had many over the years). Roshanak took great care of me and got me back to being active after my rotator cuff injury. Really impressed with her skill; she stood out among the PTs I have been to. Medstar even has a bit of parking in the lot behind the building. This location is also easily walkable from Va Square or Ballston Metro stops.

I not only had fun working with the entire OrthoVirginia physical therapists (fall of 2025) - their level of expertise was just super-impressive. I made great strides in regaining muscle, strength, balance and mobility. Shout out to Amy Dreissen, although the entire team was amazing to work with. When I "graduated" to personal training at Sports Performance, I worked with David Galdo - David was great! Professional, totally knew his stuff, met me "where I was," and helped me gain new confidence in my strength and balance training capabilities. There aren't enough good things to say about Melissa. My injury continued to heal every day because she sure knows what she is doing. She is absolutely amazing and so caring for your health and well being. I had other health issues going on and she even reached out after my treatment to make sure I was doing okay. The rest of the staff is so welcoming and truly cares about you. Michael also had a positive impact on my experience after working with him for one day. I strongly recommend this PT business and recommend to anyone I know to go here.
