Dr Herbert was referred to me by an ER doctor, whom I had seen for a severe rash. Dr Herbert was able to see me within a week. She biopsied the rashes and gave me medication that helped the rash, which had become infected, to quickly improve. Unusually for a doctor these days, she also emailed me daily after the visit, including over the weekend, and personally called me with the biopsy results. I felt her caring was genuine and impressive. The only negative about the practice is that it does not accept insurance, but they will give you all the receipts you need to submit your own claims. If you are okay with that, you will receive knowledgeable and personal medical care.

Dr. Herbert is a fabulous, caring and wonderfully knowledgeable dermatologist. I have rarely had a doctor who was so invested in making sure I was OK. I came to see her for a checkup and mentioned a rash on my face which I thought was an allergic reaction. She said she thought it was shingles but had me go to my primary to confirm - and she called my primary when I was in the office - and then recommended I see an opthalmologist since it was close to my eye. She has called me several times a day since then to confirm I had set up my appointments and to find the results. She offered to help me get in to see an opthalmologist if I had any issues. FDL Dermatology is the best! I've been seeing Dr. Herbert for many years. She's extremely thorough, very friendly, & completely professional. I've seen some very negative reviews on here, & I have to say, my many experiences with Dr. Herbert, have always been positive. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
