Later, when I injured my elbow again but with nerve irritation, he again came to the rescue and I was able to get back into playing tennis again. “My doctor and her staff are great. My only complaint is that the McLean office cannot be reached directly by telephone. Calls go through the main VHC switchboard, you have to leave a message and wait for a call back. It's time-consuming and irritating to just make an appointment. Since we live nearby, we sometimes get in the car and drive to the office, go in and make an appointment in person. We should not have to do that! Calls to satellite offices should go directly to those offices. INOVA doesn't inconvenience patients this way. Why does VHC?“

“On January 17th, 2026, I went to visit a very good friend of the family and as I approached the front desk, the Desk Receptionist greeted me with such courtesy and politeness. I asked her her name and she said Ashley. Ashley had me sign in, gave me a parking pass and let me know the duration of the pass and what spaces I can park in. Then, Ashley told me the room number of my friend and directed me to the elevarors. This is the type of service visitors expect, when they visit residents in institutions like the Regency Care of Arlington. Ashley made me feel welcomed.“
