I have played here for many years and this place is so wonderful. They are amazing people and I can't say enough good things about them. If you ever get to see one of the bands play live, you get such a sense of why this music is so special and revered.
Tracey was absolutely amazing. I was visiting the Boulder area. I get massages at least once a month and have worked with dozens of therapists. Tracey was very professional and protected modesty while also still working with reclined butterfly and frog configuration muscle groups. Tracey goes above and beyond with comfort and atmosphere. Most comfortable table and face pillow I've ever experienced.
I have attended events here over the last three years and have done my NMHA training through the Psychedelic Sitter School and am impressed. The staff/teachers/facilitators all have experiential knowledge and credentials, plus a high bar for ethics and integrity which is important to me. The incorporation of other open traditions and techniques without appropriating is something that also stood out to me. Overall, their NMHA program is a very thorough training and heart centered throughout.
I had a great experience at LaserAway. I got lip filler with Brooke, and she was fantastic. She had a very light hand during the procedure, made me feel comfortable, and really understood the look I was going for. She listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and delivered natural-looking results that I’m very happy with. My shoulder had been hurting for MONTHS and Dr. Chris not only was able to identify that I had actually dislocated my shoulder, but also how to rehab it. My shoulder rehabbed in only a month with that information. Within the same hour they also released major tension across my whole body I didn't even know I had! Ankles, calves, hips, to my fingers. I highly, highly recommend John as a wonderful healer. My situation was unique, and I needed to find a special healer that could work long distance (on a very difficult and chronic illness) as I don't live local to Colorado at this time. John was recommended to me as someone who had experience in this field, and access and experience to highly specialized herbal treatments. The process took over 2 and half years to get things to a workable place, and John was a great person to have on the journey.
And when I was able to make a local appearance, the acupuncture treatment I received was nothing short of phenomenal.

I've been coming to Sweep for a few years and this week I got a cut from Laura for the first time. It was such a great experience! She really took the time to understand what I was looking for. My hair had been growing out for about 6 months and I was looking to recover my bob and refresh my bangs. Midway through the cut I had some questions and she was so kind with me as we communicated to make sure my expectations were met. I'm so happy with my cut, and will definitely be returning to Laura for my when I'm ready for a refresh!

I'm Jessie's client and she is amazing! I have also seen Jamal do beautiful things while I sit in the chair getting my locs tightened. The salon is comfortable, always smells neutral (even when people are getting chemical treatments), and all of the staff is engaging and sweet. I highly recommend!
In case you need a reminder that good and kind people still exist in this world: I found Jacob in my hour of need. Just had surgery and hadn’t been able to wash my hair yet, got to him looking like a whole greaseball. I had called probably 5 different places and nobody could squeeze me in just for a hair wash, but he said hey, if you can get here I can get you washed quickly (I think while his actual client had her dye processing). He met me with sympathy, kindness, and absolutely no judgement on the state of my hair.
I have never dyed my hair, but trust Jacob with my life now and will be booking with him any time I need a haircut. The actual clients hair looked amazing. Jacob’s talent with dye speaks for itself, but I wanted the time to speak to his kindness and humanity. Thank you for taking the time to go out of your to do a kind thing for someone who needed it. This was my first appointment with Sara. I was very very pleased! She is a great stylist. My previous stylist whom I had here for several moved to another state. It is always hard to get a new stylist so I was thrilled at how my haircut turned out!
I started going to Luci for my curly hair five years ago. She is truly amazing at cutting curly hair which is so hard to find! Since then, I’ve never gone anywhere else and I always love my hair. I’m a very low-maintenance girlie with infrequent appointments and it’s SO nice to have color and cuts that grow out looking great for months and months. Her balayages seem to last forever. Definitely worth every penny because it looks good for so long! She’s also a wonderful, empathetic and kind human to talk to - going to get my hair cut feels like a mini-vacation and I always leave mentally and emotionally refreshed.

I regularly book services with Hennepin Barbers for my client, and he’s always extremely happy with the experience. Depending on the season, I’ve booked both Just a Buzz and a standard Haircut, and he consistently has great things to say.
Most recently, he saw Lindsay for his haircut and couldn’t stop raving about her. She was friendly, professional, and did an incredible job. My client usually isn’t particular about who cuts his hair, but after this visit he specifically requested that we book with Lindsay going forward — which says a lot.
Truly, no matter who you see at Hennepin Barbers, you can expect excellent service and a great cut. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone in Boulder looking for a consistently great barber experience.
Joe is a miracle worker. He knows how to cut a middle part better than anyone I’ve been to, and in over a year of seeing him, never once have I had a bad haircut. Highly highly recommend.
Hair to Stay has been my go-to since moving to Boulder. I'm the type of person that wants pretty much the exact same thing every time, and my stylist always remembers my preferences. :) I also love how receptive she is to my requests, as a lot of stylists at chain hair salons will make me argue for what I want or give me a different style than I asked for. Never had that problem here. Always feel welcomed and cared for here!

What I like is my man G! I walked in and he happened to be available. I have been getting cuts from him for about a year. I didn’t have time to make an appointment so I lucked out that he was available. He pauses and asks me what I think (so I can put on my glasses and see what’s up) so we can fine tune it to perfection. I feel so cute! Highly recommend G!

This place has been closed for a year and I decided I would come try out the new company Glo. Absolutely LOVED my spray tan here! It came out exactly how I wanted. Debbie has an incredible work ethic. Her talent and expertise are way above what you will find at other nail salons. Had a lovely mother/daughter mani/pedi with my 5 year old - they offer special pricing for kids <7 and they were so sweet with my daughter! She had the best experience, including getting each nail painted a different glittery color, and she was so excited and it was a fun experience at the end of the summer right before starting school.

Terrell did my lash extensions for a year when I lived in Boulder. After I moved an hour away, I wanted to find a place closer to home. I tried two different, top-rated lash studios and was extremely disappointed with both. One place glued too many lashes to one natural lash, resulting in a mess as they grew out. The other did a decent job, but didn’t follow my crystal clear direction about the look I preferred. After the first visit my lashes were up to my eyebrows. After my second visit, they barely lasted 2 weeks. It was obvious that none had the talents Terrell has for natural-glam aesthetic and also for actually listening to what I want. I made the trek back to see her today and was so pleased as always with her work. Run, don’t walk! Today for the first time I had a massage with Tracy, having loved her facials for years. OMG! She is miraculous. I had a combination soothing massage with magical-feeling hot stones, and it untied my muscles like nothing else (including previous deep massage elsewhere). Next time I want to try the 90-minute massage that involves only heated stones, and I can’t wait — this was incredibly loosening and helpful for me. Tracy is amazing. I recently had a C02 laser face and décolleté procedure with Irena Fomenko, an RN in Boulder, and I’m beyond impressed with her and the results!
While the procedure itself was quite painful, numbing cream definitely helped, the outcome has made it absolutely worth it. To be transparent, the recovery time was a solid week before wanting to be seen in public but most importantly only a few days after that to start visibly seeing the results.
I have fair, freckled skin but my skin appears 10+ years younger! The discomfort was temporary, and Irena checked on me every single day post-procedure.

I don’t have any waxing needs, but Tonya came highly recommended to me for her peels and facials. I had an amazing facial with Tonya yesterday that included a fabulous sculpting facial massage and also a scalp massage. If your skin is too sensitive for typical chemical/synthetic peels, this is THE BEST alternative. She uses an elite skin care line that is both clean and all-natural, while delivering excellent results, that feels and smells amazing!

One of the best float studio experiences I’ve had. Clean, well kept, thoughtful details provided like earplugs, personal hygiene kit, neck support floatation ring, a pool floaty noodle perfectly sized for my ankles, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion for cleaning up afterwards. Love that the cabin includes both a shower and toilet! (It is a huge disruption to deep relaxation if it is necessary to dry off, wrap in a towel and head down the hall to use a bathroom in the middle of your float time.) Friendly staff. Nice controls for lighting & music inside the pod. Overall… great place!

I got a tattoo yesterday by Ben and it was an awesome experience! We ended up moving the placement of my tattoo, which was very kindly advised by another artist in the shop, Andrew, and making the design bigger. They were all very kindly about moving the stencil as many times to get it just right! Going in the day before to talk about the design was super easy. During the tattoo Ben checked in many times to make sure I was doing good and asked if I needed a break. When we were done he touched up some parts which was really nice. 100% will go back and always recommend going to Tribal Rites on The Hill!! :)

Yesterday, I picked up two of my Oriental rugs from Thomas Carpet Cleaning and I can't tell you how thrilled I am with the results. The colors are brighter and on one, the fringe was repaired perfectly. In a day and age where many services miss the mark, this experience was such a pleasure.

Berlin flooring was contracted to refinish about 1,500 sf of our red oak hardwood floors. Scott and his team coordinated their work with multiple other contractors seamlessly. We had 7 walls removed so Berlin Flooring "feathered " in new wood pieces where the walls had been removed. They then stripped/sanded the original wood flooring and applied a protective covering. (We elected to go without stain.) The results of Berlin Flooring's work on our floors demonstrates a knowledge of wood and the processes involved in refinishing hardwood floors is vast and dialed in. I definitely recommend Berlin Flooring to anyone considering installing or refinishing hardwood floors. Oh, BTW, our dog had an accident and bled all over the sanded but not yet finished flooring - about 10'x3' - and Berlin Flooring was able to perform magic in getting the blood out of the flooring. Amazing!

Ryan, Jerry and the MH team did an outstanding job on our master bathroom renovation. We did a full reno with a steam shower, heated floors, etc. and are so happy with the results. Brady and his team at Van Matre construction did a fantastic job repairing our foundation and facilitating the many associated projects. Brady was very thorough in explaining the problem and how to fix it. Throughput the process the team was very clear about the project status and what was being done. They were also very forthcoming about any issues that arose, and made sure address them. Chris and Joel (the primary duo who did the foundation work) were always friendly and made an effort to keep the inside of our house clean and free of dents and dings. The project was completed without going over budget and our house looks better than it did before.The primary work being done was foundation repair, but several other improvements were added on. Our foundation wall was leaning in ~2.5" due to expansive clay around the house. The wall was pushed back and reinforced with helical piers and an adjacent wall was reinforced (but did not require helical piers). They added drains along the two walls, a sump pump, replaced the window wells, replaced the windows, and contracted having the concrete patio re-poured (it needed to be destroyed to repair the wall).My wife and I agree that it was a great experience working with Brady, Adam, Chris, and Joel at Van Matre Construction. I used Cottonwood to rebuild after my home was destroyed by the Marshall Fire. Together we built a home that is energy and water efficient, fire resilient and age in place ready. It was recently certified as meeting PHIUS PassiveHouse standards. Throughout the build they were resposive and paid impressive attention to fit and finish.
We recently redid our kitchen, and Moros was recommended for our countertops. We're so glad we went with them! The price, service, communication, and installation were wonderful and timely. I cannot recommend Moros highly enough for any countertop needs!
We had the great pleasure of working with Ben Terry, his crew (Rene and Beto were amazing) and Lora in the front office on a significant project on our house in Summit County. The house was built in 1995 and had an EIFs (synthetic stucco system) on the exterior. Unfortunately the system is susceptible to woodpecker damage. Ben explained the options, pros and cons and made the decision easy. Rene and Beto, and the others on the crew, were not only amazingly talented but also pleasant and worked hard to minimize disruptions. I would highly recommend MetroReconstruction for any stucco work that you may be thinking about.

A friend recommended Ideal so I used them for a competitive bid. They had a better price and did a great job climbing and thinning a blaze maple as well as doing a cleanup on a dozen or so trees including nasty Hawthornes. Normally I would do this myself, except the climbing, but it was nice to see it done so quickly and efficiently. Lance and his crew did a great job, more attention to detail and more work than I expected from their quote. I’m very happy to have met them.
The arborists from Berkelhammer not only did a great job on my trees, they listened to what I wanted and were very patient. They worked carefully to be sure the results were what I wanted. One very loved overgrown mugo pine was reduced by half or more with excellent results. They are professionally trained and it shows in their work..I highly recommend them.

I tend to be very high-anxiety around dental work and Dr Alber has always been patient, kind and understanding. We found Dr Rathburn’s office after my daughter experienced a traumatic incident at Young Dentistry in Louisville when she was younger. It took a couple years to find a dental hygienist that she trusted to even look at her teeth. The team at Rathburn Dental, especially Abby have been so wonderful and patient!!! From the moment you come into the office Shelly greets you and is happy to help. Abby (dental hygienist) is so amazing!!! So patient, compassionate and understanding!!! I don’t know how she does it but she is so very kind and really seems to understand my daughter’s situation! Always has my daughter’s best interest and trust. I cannot say enough good things about the team at MUV. I have worked with every chiropractor there and they are all excellent. Yesterday I walked in with debilitating pain in my lower back that had sidelined me the entire week. Another doctor wanted to put me on a bunch of medication, but after one adjust from them I was significantly better. They also take great care to know what's going on with all of their patients and I honestly love their package based business model. It makes things so convenient and accessible.
Dr Kate is an awesome chiropractor and we been working together for a month so far. I found the office when dealing with a lot of symptoms I couldn’t quite get resolved including vertigo, tinnitus, brain fog among others. Through my research I found an article on their website about vertigo and I was delighted to find they were located relatively close to me. All of my symptoms have continued to improve and I am beyond thankful. Dr Kate takes time to listen and I’ve never felt rushed. Every time I step out of the office, my body has been in a proper state of calm. My favorite bonus is after scanning your neck and adjusting you, there is a nap room with zero gravity chairs. I wanted to do this review from day one but I also want to be meaningful.So far after my 6th visit ,I honestly can see the difference, I came with pain on my neck and shoulders and excruciating pain in my right leg, I couldn't help it to limp and that was causing more pain, I thought it was my age and I needed to start taking supplements etc. I am so grateful that my wife invited me to visit The Wellness Center , omg what a Great Team, their high energy and positive friendliness is contagious! So far I experienced sessions with Dr Daniel, Dr Richelle and Dr David and they are all Amazing! The pain on my leg is close to zero, I don't limp anymore , I honestly started feeling the difference after the 3rd visit, I drive 3 days per week from Loveland and is absolutely worth it. After my first session with Dr. Gruhl using the Softwave I could for the first time in at least 3 years feel no burning in my feet from neuropathy!
When I was suddenly stricken with severe lower back pain that was unlike anything I had experienced before, I felt kind of lost because the Chiropractor that I used to see had retired. When I began looking for somewhere else to go there was one thing that I wanted that helped me narrow my search: I didn't want to go to a traditional chiropractor that only did spinal adjustments because I didn't know if the pain I was experiencing was spinal or muscular. That lead me to Colorado Spine and Sport/Jeremy Rodgers and it was exactly what I was hoping for: Chiropractic work coupled with PT exercises to strengthen my lower back and core. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rodgers to anyone who doesn't want to be pressured into buying some expensive multiple visit package and who would like a more holistic (medically logical) approach to pain relief and overall health.

I started seeing Navit at the beginning of my second trimester of pregnancy. I was experiencing nerve pain in my neck and arm, and back and pelvis discomfort/ instability and felt relatively miserable and very uncomfortable physically. Not only did she swiftly and attentively address these issues, but with continued treatment she supported my body throughout my entire pregnancy. I have her to thank for a comfortable, strong, and joy-filled pregnancy.

I took my 10 week old puppy for his first visit. Maria and Dr. Schuster were very attentive to myself and Ranger. They did not rush us and answered all my questions about food, vaccinations, crate training, etc. They were both very gentle with Ranger and he did not even notice getting his shot. I love Dr. Vale she is super friendly and super nice I have known her for a very long time she help me get lovey and we got her trained for my seizures Dr. Vale is amazing person and I love gunbarrel veterinary and hospital people are so friendly and good customer service I would never recommend people going to Boulder Emergency pet clinic if your pet is having emergency I would go somewhere else because they don't do go customer service but gunbarrel veterinary and hospital do the best care ever I've known I love the people at gunbarrel veterinary and hospital I've known them for several years because I work at Kingsoopers gunbarrel and they're all my friends I am so sad I lost snicker doodle Dandy I really miss him I'm heartbroken because he was my seizure dog but at least I have lovey I want to thank Dr Vail for being such a nice person and being my friend when I needed her right after snicker died I don't know what I would've done without Dr. Val I love you Dr. Val you're amazing person I've ever known thank you so much for being there for me now
Dr Martin, the techs, and everyone else at South Boulder Animal Hospital are great. When I’ve brought my dog in, they’ve always been great about thoroughly explaining treatment options and answering all of my questions. They are also kind and supportive, so I definitely recommend them for your pet.
Dr. Obermeier has been the primary vet for our two yearling colts since they were 1 month old. We truly appreciate her responsiveness and caring nature. She’s done several “cookies & scratches” visits for my needle-shy gelding to help him get over his nervousness at being approached by “the vet” — she also gelded him for me, and his wound healed up beautifully due to her excellent care and aftercare guidance. We are fortunate and grateful to have Dr. Obermeier in Boulder!
This vet clinic is absolutely wonderful! My Great Pyrenees can be a bit challenging at times, but Dr. Hunt and the entire staff were amazing - so gentle, patient, and caring. They made him feel comfortable and safe, which meant so much to me. I will definitely be using Pet Menders as my primary vet. The kindness and love they showed my Denali was truly appreciated. Thank you all, I’m very grateful!
I saw Dr Jordan today. She was So Helpful and explained everything My cat was very sick She and the tech were very empathetic and professional. Dr Jordan was very high energy. She was great It was expensive but they are worth it.
Brought my dog into CASE right off of the hiking trail after he was bitten by a rattlesnake. They gave emergency cares immediately, informed me of the expected course of cares required to help him, and communicated multiple times daily about his progress. He was hospitalized for about 30 hours in total. My family really appreciated the ability to visit with our pup during “visiting hours”. I hope to not need emergency veterinary services again anytime soon but it’s also nice to know that CASE is close if I do.
I can't say enough great things about the Veterinary Behavior Center. When we started at VBC, our dog, Olive, was afraid of any human she didn't know, and would bark at them incessantly to get them to go away. The team at VBC came up with a thoughtful plan to reduce Olive's stress by a) trying out a sequence of medications to see what Olive responded to best, and b) then gradually and systematically exposing her to new humans and their common movements (Olive weirdly hated it when people stood up from a sitting position) by associating the stimuli with positives (sound markers and treats). The process was, again, gradual, but magical. Dr. Stacey Jones is incredibly empathetic, supportive, and patient, and Ezra, our trainer, went over and above what I would expect from a trainer. Olive's progress has been shocking; if you told me where we would be after a year of training, my wife and I wouldn't have believed you. Olive now sees people out on walks, and if they come rather close or cross our paths, she does fine. ? That sounds like it shouldn't be immensely heartening and impressive... but it is ?
Arapahoe Animal Hospital has taken care of all our ?'s over the years, could not recommend them enough.

Kaiut Yoga is a true life saver...restorative, opening, challenging, and healing. The teachers at both studios are extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, accommodating, present, and helpful. Highly recommended regardless of age or issues!
Yoga Pearl is a great experience if you want to experience mostly slow and restorative yoga. The classes have been overall well structured, the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. I will be back soon!
Yoga Shala is a truly wonderful place! I have studied Iyengar Yoga in many different studios across our country and have found no studio more clean, airy and beautiful. But even more important, the instructors are so so good! I am so grateful to have been a student at the Shala since I moved to Boulder more than 10 years ago. Three years ago I also began participating in a weekly meditation group, which is a better experience than I could ever have imagined. I have studied both online and in person and will always be grateful to have this rich resource in my life.
Best Yoga practice in town! If you are a beginner or an experienced Yogi, there is a class for you. They always have an introductory offer for new students. No excuses. They also offer almost all classes on line.

Calming Kids Yoga is a heartfelt nonprofit, and in my opinion, exactly what the world needs right now! They have all the trainings and products you’ll need to share yoga with pre-k through high school aged youth. The evidence based curriculum includes kids yoga classes, teacher training, staff in-services and many products, like books and audiobooks. It’s easy to weave the material into a home practice with your kids or any kind of educational setting. I’m so happy I found CK and would recommend them to any parent, teacher or school administrator!

I cannot say enough about Core Wisdom, the owner, Kim Robins, and the other students who attend either private or group classes. The expert instruction Kim offers is individualized, creative and effective. She is experienced working with higher level athletes as well as clients who require more nuance and possible modifications due to injuries or ongoing limitations. Kim is always prepared through her on going study and years of experience, to give a challenging organized workout to her students. She is kind, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. The culture of the studio is uplifted and inclusive, a great place to get fit and stay fit. As a physical therapist who is very picky about form and safety, I don't hesitate to send clients Kim's way! Igive this studio the best grade possible. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Brian R. for a couple of months now, and he is professional, knowledgeable, timely, and communicative. He has helped me immensely with a running injury and is getting me back feeling better than ever. The location and offices are always impeccable. The staff is friendly and it is competitively priced.
What an incredible massage experience. I have always gone with my mom and we do a couples massage, Sharon did my first one and boy was she amazing. Not only did she make me feel comfortable and understand what to expect, but her technique and pressure levels were ideal. Since then, I've been back numerous times and worked with different massage therapists. On my past two massages, I've added cupping with Katrin which has been amazing for my muscle recovery as an athlete. If you have never gotten a massage, feel nervous for any reason, or regularly get massages and just want to enhance your experience, the trip up to Boulder is beyond worth it for the experience this team provides.
If you can, make sure you go when you're able to get your massage outside- the tables and temperature regulation are incredible, and the sounds of nature while getting a massage are unmatched (especially when compared to sound machines!)

I have had four therapeutic massage sessions with Guacira to date. They have already proven to be a turning point in my journey to improve my balance and mobility. Guacira is a true professional in every respect. She listens carefully to my explanation of my physical needs and proceeds with the massage with purpose and compassion. Izzy is the real deal. As a fellow LMT, I don’t say this lightly... his work is thorough and completely dropped in. He weaves myofascial release, deep tissue, and Thai together seamlessly, all held with intentional breathwork and a full-body-melt kind of presence. His energy is incredibly clean. Healing Arts Massage finds that perfect mix of great massage, clean facilities, and fair pricing. There are fancier places in town, but you will pay. There are cheaper places in town, but the quality is way below what Jenny at Healing Arts provided.
Cassie is an excellent body worker. She is attentive to what her clients need and incorporates that info into a productive and intentional massage. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr. John Crawley for rehab following a rock climbing finger pulley injury. I was specifically interested in regaining healthy fingers along with strengthening my fingers to make them more resilient against future injuries. I found John to be extremely knowledgable. His expertise as a PT and an experienced rock climber provided me with simple targeted exercises that worked really well for me.
The full hour sessions gave us enough time to talk through my needs and expectations, along with physical evaluation and guidance of the actual prescribed exercises. The longer sessions also let me go longer between our sessions, making the price a good value for my needs. He was also available for email advice between sessions which was really helpful. I have recommended John to many of my friends with similar positive experiences.

Started going to JasonBlalack 6 months ago for migraines that I’ve suffered for over 30 years. I’ve tried different treatments over the years but nothing worked. I wanted to get off the heavy duty migraine meds that I’d been taking. After 6 months of acupuncture every 3 weeks I am off the meds and just take a Tylenol and Advil as needed. In the past that never would have been enough. Highly recommend

I highly, highly recommend John as a wonderful healer. Susannah is a master acupuncturist. I think she's a natural intuitive and I feel like she is one of my greatest tools for well-care. I know this sounds over the top, but she's really really that good. I think she's magic actually.
