“A family member was at risk of being diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder. Over the course of several years of annual testing they were on the threshold of that diagnosis. Treatment and testing were being provided by a highly regarded western medical organization in Denver. When asked if there was anything we could do, the providers said basically "no". We were left feeling helpless as we watched the annual testing year after year inch closer and closer to a diagnosis. Not satisfied with that answer, I reached out to Heather and our lives changed. Counter to the western sterile process, she stepped in with a deep level of compassion, professionalism, and authenticity. During our collaborative process I found her to be not only extremely intelligent, but she was also present and took the time to support our journey through this difficult time.
